I have the weirdest obsession with these Sport Turismos, though strangely I think I’d go for one of the plug-in hybrid versions personally. eBoost in a car like this seems like a pretty wild experience.
These vehicles are already heavy. The hybrid system makes it heavier, I think GTS or Turbo are the most ideal models. The less weight the better driving pleasure.
I love the little light that came up by/on the side mirror at 7:53, showing that there's a car there. I'm sure most people who watch your stuff wouldn't care about a thing like that, but those sorts of additions nice modern cars have are really welcome to me. It would help make me comfortable driving, having a notification like that.

This looks so much better in the Sport Turismo guise, never was a fan of the standard car. you are right it makes a lot of sense on the used market if you want something upscale, but man it is sooooo much when you build one on the Porsche website.
Great review, hugely underrated car, especially in the Tesla/Taycan era. Would like to see you drive the F-Type R, different car for sure but in that sporting GT category.
I am a fan of Affalterbach cars, but if it’s this or an E63 wagon, I’m going with this. The E63 is just too raw too much of the time, the panamera just feels like a big 911. I was fortunate enough to drive a 4S Panamera GT around for the day (before we had to give it to our Porsche sister store) and just blown away with how capable it was and how comfortable it was, even on RI potholes. Can only imagine the Turbo. Ultimate Dad-mobile
I like sport turismo more, we just bought a 2019 model with super low mileage (GTS though). Its got 5 seats instead of 4 and looks alot better aswell, more headroom at the back and larger trunk.

An interesting queery for sound geeks though: with Mercedes AMG and Porsches with v8 engines I sometimes can't tell that it's a v8 while on high rpm. I'm blind so I get a bit of 'which-car-is-this' from my pals showing me different youtube videos and sometimes I think it's a v6 with these new twin-turbo v8. Just having a rant though. An awesome video and thanks alot for describing the exterior and interior.
Yup, one of these will do nicely. 7:00 Honda are the new Toyota- well, Toyota did an ad campaign here in the 90s that said "the car in front is a Toyota" which obviously led to many jokes about being stuck behind them...they didn't really think that through.
I like this configuration. Kinda understated. These wheels make it look like a standard Panamera or the 4S. Better than this, only the non-hybrid Turbo S. 😎

I drove the new Panamera 4S e-hybrid with 560HP, it´s really really fast. No doubt.
The enhanced fuel efficiency sounds nice, but I’ll pass on the extra 300 or so pounds of curb weight.

Only problem with this is that the Taycan Cross Turismo looks better, and would be cheaper at similar performance levels, though I’d miss a V8.

The PDK transmission slips its clutch intentionally in 8th gear while cruising on highway to save fuel.
