you should have used a sponge to get the ombré effect in your hair
That's a great idea!
can you explain how to do that with a sponge? like give me a tip?
@@Kakibot Where you from? I know you put UK as location but you do not sound like a Englisch native speaker just curious :)
@@michaelhawkins7389 I'm originally Czech! Been in the UK for the past 9 years though .)
@@Kakibot oh nice how come you moved to the UK ? did you just like the culture? :)
That's amazing work you did. Just keep on doing costume work and you get better at it. Thank you for your video. Keep up the great work you do.
Wow! great job. Thanks for the video. I'm getting some!

Thank you so much for this! I just made ones for my son and daughter-in-law. I can’t wait for them to get them.
Amazing, iv never owned a custom I'd love and find of the kids
i wish there was a video where these funko's r og and not with hairs and stuff
(just saying)
I really want to try to make one thank you for the video
Is 150g clay enough ?
SO COOL, I will totally make this! Thanks for making a tutorial, liked and subscribed!
Aw thank you! I'm so glad you found this helpful! I honestly expected this to turn out way more messed up .D
lol, no it looked amazing! keep up the good work! ☺👍
U can use monster clay just warm up even to use !!!
I have that exact same modeling clay (DAS) I got it at Walmart here in Mexico, I bought it because I was curious about its texture and if it delivers similar results as Epoxic clay like Sculpey, since its water based, also because its way cheaper, something that would help lowering down costs, but sadly its not the best material I could use, since its very hard to get a smooth surface once finished, something we can see on your video, and I am going after that finish, need it very very smooth.
Thanks for sharing since it helped me to see how it looks once painted :D
Was the quality of the Das clay really terrible?
I really really want to make Eric from phantom of the opera. ( ALW adaptation)
if you still do it, did you go for something like apoxie sculpt?
I hear you can put a my little pony in the oven.
if you make a funko pop of mark evans from Inazuma Eleven i’ll pay you!
What kind of clay did you use?
So you didnt went on their website to make them
They look so cool!!!
Why start a collection when all I need in life is just a funko pop of..... myself! .DD haha .D maybe I can make some for you two in the future! It would probably come out looking a bit better considering it wouldn't be my first go >__>
Hey nice background music, what's it called?
Any ideas as to how id put glasses on a diy pop?
TheMagicalDoge use wires!
the first video I see from another person ADD. You're not alone.
What is that clay called?
Thanks Kakibot!
Parecen de fabrica
I’m making one for my birthday atm .. gonna post it on my birthday hopefully.. 4th of July ✌️😁❤️
yo i have a whole collection now thx forinspiring me shoutout to you :)
Does anybody know what paint to use to get a matte finish on the funko??
Rustoleum Matte spray paint.
Im looking for someone to make a michael jackson pop funko as well as tupac and lil wayne.
there are mj ones in stores now! don't know where you live but i visited nyc in november and they had mj pops at hot topic and other nerds stores lol
Quack Up Playz what about purchasing them online? you can find them on amazon too and they usually ship everywhere
Quack Up Playz we have them here in italy so if u can’t find them it’s probably because they’re sold out and those who have them are selling it at stellar prices lmao. just wait for them to get back in stock at the official funko amazon store, or try on their official site? or some comic book store? 🤷🏻♀️
Quack Up Playz is this an attempt at a joke?
The figures are great but this kinda annoyed me... and that's the way the hands/arms are. I'm not trying to sound like I really don't like them. I love them .But I wish they'd let you custom the hands /arms
I don’t know how I can send you a photo of them ☹️
If you made little props for them would they break? I’ve only used the clay for larger projects x
Might be good to use some sort of wire skeleton for thin props! But haven’t tried that personally, just intuition .)
Cool gift
Awesomeness
Good job
Gonna make either a YUNGBLUD or Dan Reynolds one
Very cute
Where did u buy you're paint
Pretty sure it was Amazon!
Awesoooome
If one uses air dry clay does it need to be baked?
Nope! Look for air-drying clay and it'll just harden on its own in about a day or two.
How long does it take to make one?
Wasn't really too bad - both of the these probably took 1-2 hours to sculpt and then after waiting a day for them to air dry properly another 1-2 hours to paint? But seeing other people's ones which look A LOT BETTER I'd say that's probably the minimum .D Depends on how polished you want the outcome to be and if you're also sculpting the clothes.
The most time consuming part was probably getting the stupid ombre hair colour right .DD
What type of clay is that for the hair?
Air-drying white DAS clay .)
DAS
DAS
DAS
Does it need to be baked???
Air dry clay doesn't
Where do you buy the acrilic colours??
Pretty sure I got these on Amazon!
Kakibot Thanks! Good video!
U can get them a Micheals Arts and Crafts
How much time does the clay need to dry ? ☺️
I left it sit for a day and that was enough! I imagine if you live somewhere dry it will take less, if you use a lot of it it might be more but a day should be safe .)
Kakibot Idk know if I missed it but ,where did you get the clay?
Would you make me a custom pop 😀😂
Try using polymer clay next it’d give u a smoother look .. and wait a little bit between each color layer so the paint could dry properly
Thanks for the tip! Doesn't polymer clay need to be bake-set though? Which would destroy the base doll?
Kakibot no the figures should be able to take the heat .. just make sure to set the temperature to the degree written on the clay 👌👌👌
I would paint the male
my drawing/painting is like a Pou :v
I'm trying to make a lori Grimes
wrong!!!! the existing funko pop won't melt when you put it in the oven if you follow the direction with the polymer clay. I do it all the time. A tip is to run the pop under cold water when you take it out of the oven or out it in the freezer so it will harden faster.
