Taylor Swift allegedly turned green when she saw we can't be friends hit No. 1 on the Pop Airplay Chart. A spokesperson denied any connection womansplaining that the green color was due to a cash injection. 🤮
For those guys, my opinion is it's more about trapping a woman and kids as a property that owes him than providing a comfortable, reliable lifestyle to be a happy and capable father and husband.
He is the type of guy to be caught cheating with his collegue & then say his wife was too boring & had nothing to talk to him about. His collegue was witty, intelligent & fun. Mark my words.
@@trintrin189girl go outside, you're defending this man like your life depends on it, if you want his attention get off youtube and spam his IG account with nudes or something.
His mother is a medical physicist who has worked for Emory University's Department of Radiation Oncology since 1988, but he thinks women should be stuck at home 🧐
Isn’t that exactly what shallon made reference to. It’s because his mum neglected him now he thinks women are meant to stay home whether they want to or not. Just because it traumatised him he can’t separate the too. Thats a sign of someone who is very mentally inflexible and can’t see the gray zone. It’s black or white for him.
Has he told male college graduates and his NFL coworkers "congratulations but nothing feels better than being a husband and father?" If he truly is for conservatism and family values, I hope he preaches the same message all across.
@@trintrin189 There’s no need for that vitriolic comment on your end. I’m only asking whether or not he keeps the same energy for his male audience if he truly believes that parenthood and marriage are the ultimate aspiration. His speech was more of a rant-and an ill timed one-where he made it more about himself rather than the actual students graduating in front of him.
The most annoying part of this, for me, has been women defending him by saying “there’s nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom! He said nothing wrong!” It’s almost like they’re playing stupid on purpose. Did ANYONE come into the delivery rooms of these women and give them some long speech about how they should be out there getting degrees & a high paying job instead? NO. That’s the whole point. THEY WERE AT A GRADUATION CEREMONY RECEIVING A DEGREE THAT TOOK YEARS OF INTENTION TO THEIR DREAMS.
Nothing wrong with getting a degree. I have 2 masters degrees. But as soon as I had my kids, no way in hell was going to work more appealing than being a mom. SAHM-ing is the shit!!

That's how trad men actually think after awhile they might even get bored and cheat with a woman you personally would never consider having sex with if you were a guy. They purposely do things to create arguments with women and they Shame women for being single and wanting a degree because they know that's how people become more successful and rich when they pay their own bills, and travel a lot they can live however they want without being controlled by a man there's way more benefits to women working and being for women because it's an ideal way to live it makes women look less crazy when they don't have a man in the picture. As a 40 yo working woman i must say that imo is wiser to choose a lane. Being a mother and homemaker IS A FULL TIME JOB. Me, a doctor, working medicine is also a FULL TIME JOB. I refuse to do both and I agree Shallon, I refuse do everything by myself. I am also, too wild and independent to be a housewife. I choose my carreer, that makes me incredibly happy, I have never wanted kids. I love my life and my job. Choose wisely, I applaud the women who got it right and decided to choose the one lane that makes them happier. If you have a real man by your side, he would never put that burden over you, that you must do it all by yourself.
Agreed! I had kids early in life but now that I get to wake up in the morning and run my business instead of taking care of kids I'm actually happy. Now is when I feel true fulfillment. We don't all want to be sahm and it's about time society stops pressuring women into lives they don't want.
I wanted to be a SAHM and wife as a teenager, until I saw a few SAHMs in my neighborhood loose their house, loose custody of their kids and their circle of friends, when the husbands found a newer woman (not even more beautiful, just newer and younger). This was the '90's in southeastern Europe, in a patriarchal and religious society. I swore I would never end up like that, so I made myself a career !
All about choice! You can’t tell people what to do. Like vice versa, husband who work and have wives that say “you need to make more money”. THEY will say the wife is a harpy, criticizes, etc. all about the control and power.
Did you actually listen to the speech? Because what he said is not what people are saying he said. Frankly, telling women that their highest calling is to bow to their individualistic materialistic whims via their corporate masters IS a “diabolical lie.”
@@petal3265 😂😂😂 nobody is jealous of her... That men is so ignorant im embarrassed she has to deal with him but hey she probably doesn't even realize this herself but when she does... 😬
As a mum myself I know it comes down to one thing: a mother is easier to control. She’s more vulnerable and she has less control over her life, they want us malleable and they want us home not in the work world, because they are threatened by us, it is no business of theirs what we choose to do with our own bodies, why do men seem to always want to have a say on what we do with our bodies. They have had it their way for so long and we need to keep rising up, please no let’s not allow this movement to happen which all goes back to being put in a box so they can keep an eye on us and not allow us to become more powerful.
Absolutely. I remember talking to woman about why she chose not to have a career outside the home and her husband gave me the dirtiest look. I’m like yea this guy likes having control over his wife.
The thing is if he wants to go that route, he needs to address the men too. Tell men to step it up and create the environment for women to flourish in the home. The woman cannot be traditional if the man is not. Nowadays men don’t even have the first date planned, he wants to split bills, can’t even properly communicate. And more importantly, doesn’t even own a home for a woman to stay home and raise a kid in. The average American man is not a football player making multiple six figures, therefore needs women in the workforce to contribute to the household income. If a woman is working, it’s not fair for her to split bills and bare the household/child bearing responsibilities
One thing that stood out to me when I read about his speech: this guy is worth tens of millions of dollars. Of course can afford to have his wife stay at home. 🙄 meanwhile I’m sure some of the students listening have stacks of student debt-with interest! His message was tone deaf to the max. Shallon, thank you for making this video. As a career-focused, accomplished girlie in her 30s who was never truly sold on having kids, I am grateful for this supportive message and for your community of Shallagators!
What about the fact that most women can't afford to stay home. I would love nothing more than to stay at home and raise a family. I simply can't afford it. Both me and my husband have to work to survive, especially in today's economic climate. Staying at home is a luxury. His speech was extremely judgemental, offensive, and tone deaf especially to the women that literally just worked their ass off to graduate college.
I can't help but think of My Big Fat Greek Wedding when Toula is trying to convince her father to let her take a computer class at college. He's against it and she gets frustrated and says, "Don't you want me to do something with my life?" And his response is just, "Yes! Get married! Make babies!"
Ngl, that didn’t even sound like a real conversation he was referencing. It sounded like a clumsy, made-up anecdote to rationalize the speech he wanted to make.
My mom was a stay at home mom. However my father never took advantage of that, always respectful. I remember watching a tik tok of a wife gleefully say it’s ok her husband’s clothes never made it to the hamper because she’ll happily pick it up because he works😒 no it just disrespectful.
And they try to scare women into thinking once you're beyond your breeding years you'll inevitably come to regret not having kids the rest of your life. This was another amazing video Shallon! thank you so much for putting them out ❤️ they help young women like me so much. I worked hard to put myself through nursing school & am damn proud of it 💪 & shouldn't be made to feel guilty for feeling fulfilled by that minus kids.
Yes so beautiful to go on a college, where people work hard to secure their future, just to here that their should get raw dogged at home. So inspirational 😂@freppy06
Right? Like why didn’t she give the speech, then? He spoke for her and used it to tell a bunch of young women where their priorities should lie, but had less directions for the men in the class 🙄
Actually, I wouldn’t mind being with a partner who rather me be at home and spend my time doing other things, I’m not exactly obsessed about “building” a career, but for that exact same reason and how much I know I can end in a vulnerable place because I would love to just be a lover for my man, I know I can be easily taken advantage of, this type of man makes me afraid and how much they can pretend and then just throw you away. And I feel this is more of a human issue than a woman vs men or wife vs career woman issue; I feel most people don’t have your best interest in mind and can ruin your life without caring for how much time they made you waste. To be vulnerable and open now days it’s like an invitation for this type of people to pray on you 💔
The more women who don't have kids, the more young women see child free women be equally happy or even more happy than mothers. This shows women they have options in life. This means the biological clock can no longer be used as a tool of coercive control for men to get the relationship totally on his frame.
Yeah and then they really at 40 and get pregnant 42 and cannot take care of the children properly and make them brats. Being a mum myself you need energy. There should be a age cap if ivf for women who think they can have everything
I think his time would have been better spent mostly addressing the young men in the room since they are the reason women feel uninspired to get married and have their children. This coming from me-a 6 figure married mom of a two year old. Motherhood is an important role in my life but it is NOT my ONLY contribution. In order for women to be traditional women, men have to be traditional men 🤷🏻♀️ And since most young men have zero to no ambition and the expectations have changed that now women have to financially contribute, women as a whole have had to step up to the plate to fulfill ALL the roles. He told a room full of young women that their degrees don’t matter but his own mother is a medical physicist at Emory University's department of radiation oncology since 1988. Her CAREER AND INCOME led to him having a very comfortable lifestyle and helped him get his career. Would love to hear from her.
Men do not control how a woman will feel about marriage, they should just pick a good man out of the bunch that fits there needs, if that is what they want to do
Shallon, you dropped some gems here. A lot of the things you’ve mentioned in regards to deprogramming from family expectations and gaining financial independence to be able to live life on your own terms, through your own free will, I‘ve had to learn the hard way over the last couple of years. Watching you has helped me along this path, so thank you so much. You‘ve definitely helped me learn how to think independently. ❤
it's funny how you assume you're being deprogrammed from the entire sociological history of the world. has it ever occurred to you that you're actively being programmed to a utopian ideal?
It IS truly unsettling that in the last few years there's been a rise in men obsessing over women having babies, and I love how they NEVER mention that for example 2 bags of groceries costs 70 bucks now and that "starter" homes cost hit 300k-500k. It's so much easier to blame women than admit something has gone bad wrong in the running of this country since the days of boomers owning homes and raising families on a factory workers salary. Infuriating.
I guess my answer to him would be, if men stayed faithful, protected their families, stayed to work in marriages instead of upgrading their wives turning their loving wives into single mothers now struggling to pay bills because they "thought" their husbands would be there to uphold their side of the bargain. I give up my career and life for kids and marriages and you support us theeeeeen maybe more women would be excited.
Amazing argumentation, Shallon! Watched it twice. In regard to being more vulnerable with a baby: "abuse often gets worse during pregnancy. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (also called ACOG) says that 1 in 6 abused women is first abused during pregnancy".
It's really disheartening to hear these things when you actually want kids but there is just no man in sight you want to have kids with. It's like you failed on another level. Love it. It's like they want you to live a life of misery with a man you don't actually love.
Omg exactly what I was thinking, what gives any man a right to have an opinion on what we women should and shouldn't do with our bodies & lives. Well said Shallon.
Marriage is a relatively outdated concept. Women simply don't need it anymore. Also kid regret is a big thing amongst women nowadays. Even some men. This guy is oblivious.

Why not tell men to look forward to providing for a family and getting married? That at least would have come from your male perspective. Leave women alone
Omg my older brother is like this ! As of like a year or two ago, the only thing he talks about is women and men and how women need to have kids and put their careers off. I’m 26 and he’s been telling me I need to have kids soon before I lose my prime and I’m 30. It’s annoying
He is mad because he has no gf. No shade, but that was both my brothers situation. Whenever adulting felt hard for them, they looked around for a mommy “GF” and wanted her to take all the blame and do everything
As a man married to a woman who is older, and now with medical problems and the very real threat of now, not by choice, ever able to have children...and watching the depression she's sank into, I can tell you, the regret is real. So, I think women should take the "put off having children" mentality with a grain of salt because when "someday" comes...and now can't happen...yeah. very sad, very depressing.
It’s because he is listening to these podcasts all day, but he doesn’t even understand what he is listening to. He is just repeating what he is hearing to you & your family. Literally not one of his current opinions is his own. These podcasts are full of controlled opposition, popping up for a reason just a couple of years ago. That may sound bizarre to this audience but I can expand on it. A ton of pods actually have contracts with the porn companies. If you notice a ton of the girls that go on that one show, there are a ton of porn & oF girls. There is a reason for it. The porn executives know that even though these guys hate on the girls, they will follow them over to their only fans like 95% of the time. There is so much more to it, but I will leave it at that. Don’t listen to him, he is a follower. He is 26 in your parents house…still?
This guy honestly sounds envious that his "team mate" is dating the most powerful woman of the moment and that all attention is on Travis. How he felt the need to try to discredit them sounds fishy. When he looks at his wife, and compares her to Taylor, he feels the need to try to sooth his ego with some delusional lie that women should not be successful. Sorry, mate, if you were never able to conquer a successful woman and only a doormat. This man reminds me of those boyfriends who go tell their girlfriends how they hate a certain woman, and then, whenever they have a chance, they go full on cheating with that same said girl. The actual nerve!
"Only a doormat"? Insulting (that we know of) a completely innocent woman that didn't have anything to do with her husbands stupid speech even, says a lot about you 🤢
This is why women who are happy as housewives are gonna support him and not people like you because your perspective on homemakers is disgusting and inaccurate. Stay in your lane. That’s why I love Shallon so much. She just lets people live and she understands that we all thrive in different situations Get over yourself
@@Li_Tobler well, the way he talked about women shows exactly what type of woman he went for. It is not that I am calling her that, but only a doormat would accept a man with such a mentality.
@@magdalenasamandova my perspective is not inaccurate, girl. What are you even talking about? Most of the so called housewives only want to be one to get their bills paid and for the title of it, nothing more. They couldn't care less about their husbands, children or anything. I love when they discover that being a stay at home mother is one of the hardest jobs. It really is a wake up call to those lazy women who want to stay at home all day and use other people's money for their nails. Housewives are some of the nastiest, holier than thou, arrogant and condescending type of women I came across in my life. They absolutely shit on other women if they hear you say that you don't want children or that you don't want to live their lifestyle. They really want to force other women to envy them, when there is absolutely nothing to envy. They think they are special and endowed with some sort of mission in this planet, as if being a mother makes you better than other women who chose a career.
I have accomplished a lot in my life, overcoming a lot of odds against me, and i have male colleagues disregard this all and would ask me when I’m going to settle down and have kids.. it’s almost like a form of control, like whatever women achieves their ‘place’ is still with having children etc.. I admire women that can be a housewife and raise their children as it’s a full time job, and I also admire women that can and want to do both.. I personally don’t want to have children.. it’s a personal choice.. It’s my body and my life.. I am contributing to society in other ways
A lot of these men think we're in a weird competition about which populations will be dominating the world. They see large families in the developing world, and want Western women to 'catch up' with them...But many women in the developing world struggle financially and they don't seem to take that into consideration... :O
Oh yes, every man wants to come home to be told that I scrubbed the toilet, the dog pooped on the floor, Jr. threw up on me... . She's stuck at home with the kids so he has time to have affaires.
I was born to millennial parents, so I’ve never heard or felt this pressure to have kids or get married, actually quite the opposite, my parents kind of have always shamed the idea of me having kids or getting married lol. Hence I was very unaware of people who actually think that women’s vocation is having kids’s existence 😂 I’m shocked.
My parents are relatively religious? My mom is pretty Catholic and me and my three sisters and brother were raised Catholic. My mother really loves big families and she always asked us if we wanted to have kids but didn’t exactly pressure us, either. I think she knows we will follow our own paths. Currently, I am sitting pretty with 12 years of marriage, two cats and no kids (maybe?) at 37, and I still go to mass, sometimes with my mom or sister or brother. My sisters are all married, two have kids, and my brother is living his life working, and being sometimes snarky and awesome. I am so proud of my family, and I celebrate everyone’s success.
I was raised by a single mom and she always says if she could choose again, she would be single and never have kids. I feel no pressure at all to have all that stuff. My mom wants me to live and enjoy life.
I wanted to be a SAHM and wife as a teenager, until I saw a few SAHMs in my neighborhood loose their house, loose custody of their kids and their circle of friends, when the husbands found a newer woman (not even more beautiful, just newer and younger). Agree these bizarre rants from trad men are just them projecting their insecurities. I never hear them giving speeches to other men to encourage men to make women feel safe and provided for, to stay loyal and committed, to not commit financial, emotional, verbal or physical abuse; which are large motivators for women wanting to provide for themselves and not be dependent on a man.
Thank you so much Shallon for these words, you are my angel in this life and whenever i need anchoring i just watch one of your video even in your rants you are telling so much truth. ❤️🤍
deprogramming from what? the entire history of mankind? you're being actively programmed to "progressive" ideals and you can't even see it. gayest generation ever comes to mind...
Currently pregnant. An important thing to remember- people will be happy for you, tell you how it must be tough to work while pregnant. But at the end of the day it's just you (and your partner when you are home) having to deal with these struggles. Also, the judging starts even before you have the baby. People ask you about your birthplan and parenting outlook but will be so quick to judge and mock you with "you are so naïve, wait till the baby comes"
Interesting how there are people who feel like one size fits all when it comes to life. My mom juggled low-wage jobs and being a mother. When we got a bit older and she wanted to go back to school and get a better job, she faced opposition from my dad. Looking back, he likely felt threatened by his wife trying to wrestle control and financial autonomy back into her life. I’m so proud of her for not listening to the noise and eventually landing the job of her dreams. She was never a full-time SAHM but that’s not for everyone! And that has never affected me negatively growing up. I love that she worked hard and that has been the greatest life lesson she’s taught me.
If you think that you don’t want children or know that you shouldn’t have children. Don’t. There are people who should not be parents. If we were honest with ourselves about that fact, particularly if we are one of those people. We might actually be doing more good for society than we would by lying to ourselves and having children.
Okay but did he actually say "you are a complete failure if you don't have children"?? Also, he is a Catholic, giving a commencement speech at a Catholic college. The women and men in the audience supported everything he said lol.
I’m not interesting in combatting that thinking. I don’t care if conservative men hate me. Try to take away my freedom and independence and watch what happens 🤷🏻♀️
His speech is really tone deaf because not every woman is going to marry an NFL player who has millions of dollars. Not every woman can afford to not work, and not everyone can afford to have children. His failure to fully acknowledge or empathize with that reality reeks of ignorance and privilege
Most of the men who say this were born into generational wealth. They don't look at work as something people do to pay bills. They see it as a mere option because they inherited their money, which is not a bad thing but they need to wake up to the fact that that's not the reality of most people. I live in South Africa and lots of white people here are constantly traveling the world because they don't work typical 9-5 jobs. They own almost everything (wealth acquired during Apartheid profiting off of non-whites) and live off of passive income. It's always people like this who criticize women for working.
I dont pay to these men ever, if you spend too much time online, or in the wrong circles you’ll meet those people. I realized being outside with normal, educated and open-minded people is very relaxing and pleasant. The internet preys on our emotions and rage is a really important one. I detest talking about dating online with people who think differently from me and try to paint my opinion is wrong, it’s dating! Go date someone who shares the same values??? A job is much more than just money. It is being occupied, releasing daily energy, being a member of society and seeing other people and having duties. If women had it so good being a stay at home mom there would’ve been no movement to get out of that.
Today’s world is not the time to have children. It’s way too messy. Not like the old days when the neighborhood was our playground and you knew you had to head home when the street lights came on. When being outside exploring your backyard was a universe of fun.
I think there is also a cultural aspect to someone of this too. I know Asian parents are usually very traditional and it's not an ego thing for them. It's just how they were socialized and rasied and it's too hard to deprogram. It's not that they want control over you. They genuinely think they know the best way for you to live.
I’ve told my older brother than I don’t think I’ve hit my prime. Physically I look 19 & I am not ready to have children yet and want to finish my degree . He said that the degree can wait but children can’t. Sir I’m 26 years old, I have a lot of time

Shallon's best advice: you need to learn to trust your own voice. There is nothing more fulfilling than facing the consequences of your own actions. There is nothing more soul-destroying than facing the consequences of someone else's decisions.
Last year I read the book Why Does He Do That and men no longer confuse me. I’m not saying Harrison is an abuser like the men talked about in that book but the writer really explains the male psyche that I see in all of them to different degrees. They’re taught from birth that they have a special standing, a special inheritance in the world. They do not see us as humans but as a set of services they are owed. Even the ones who are “nice” about it. And it’s reinforced everywhere in our culture. From religion to “romantic” stories about a man pursuing a woman even after she says no because he knows what’s really best for her and the audience is happy when she finally just gives in and comes to her senses.
And people wonder why I've been widowed for 5 years and have yet to re-enter the dating arena! My man was sooo not like this at all. He was all man. I'm a nurse and as proud as I am of that (and I worked harrd for my license), he was even prouder. We had a kid together and he's absolutely the shit! He killed spiders and fixed my car and would even cook and clean (so would I, I just mean he didn't act like it was my duty alone) It's hard to go back to chicken once you've had filet mignon, you know? His mom is one of the strongest bitches I've ever known, so I'm sure that plays a part in it. I never expected to be widowed at 35, but I'm honestly good alone. If I meet someone organically then great, but it's not my only aspiration. I'll also say that kids aren't for everyone and motherhood is very freaking hard. It's an awful thought honestly to think of tons of women out there having babies they do not want. That can get dangerous tbh
Ahhh, I feel so aligned with this video! Thank you. I absolutely LOVE it whenever you include the psychology behind whatever you're talking about! Not only is it fascinating, but it also helps with comprehension of topics and retention of the overall lesson.
I think we also spend a lot of our 20s and 30s undoing what society has taught us about what makes us worthy. From the time we are children, one of the most common toys for girls is babies or dolls, so we are literally indoctrinated and taught what our "place" is before we have the chance to develop our own independent way of thinking. I'm just glad I have parents who raised me to value my independence, career, and things I love, instead of basing my self-worth on what society tells me I should be.
I spat my cornflakes out laughing at some parts, agreed out loud with others and cried because my teacher holidays don't line up with your Italy trip. I will be on one of those one day!!! Love your work
Shallon - have you seen the Burned Haystack Dating Method? The creator has a PhD in rhetoric. It’s fascinating and very helpful in navigating online dating. P.S. looking forward to the Amalfi Coast trip
It’s also confusing because Catholicism was one of the first religions to give women an option beside marriage to devote their lives to? I hate people defending him saying it makes sense given that he spoke at a Catholic private college. Like the nuns devoting their life to God (the highest calling for them) would disagree with his speech.
Not only that but nunhood and monkhood are some of the most revered lifestyles in traditional Catholic communities. In high class families, it's very important that at least one son or daughter becomes either a priest or nun, it's something they hold pride in. I know this because I'm a descendent of 2 upper class catholic families from Spain and France.
As a person, if you can give up your religion/faith and your dreams for marriage, there are certain conclusions that can be made about you. I can consider your career but your FAITH? NAH. So she can also convert to another faith if…. NAH!
Shallon, YOU cracked me up so hard at the beginning g of this video !!! I’m still laughing!! You are HILARIOUS!! The heavy breathing, the noises, it just struck me SO FUNNY!!! Thank you!!!❤

Oh Shallon. Oftentimes, parents do want children when they have them. According to my one of my old Psychology textbooks, the problem arises when the parents aren't interested in the same things as their child. Parents deal with this in different ways. Some make an effort to support their child when this happens, others do not. To be clear, acceptance and tolerance aren't the same things as making an effort to know and support the child

Just because it traumatised him he can’t separate the too. Thats a sign of someone who is very mentally inflexible and can’t see the gray zone. It’s black or white for him.

It does make so much sense. It's always about power and control
ABSOLUTELY!!! That’s it! Power and control is always the prime male objective.
You hit the proverbial nail on the head. When you have children, it makes it Harder for a woman to leave a man.
Absolutely. I remember talking to woman about why she chose not to have a career outside the home and her husband gave me the dirtiest look. I’m like yea this guy likes having control over his wife.
It's so true. That's why it's mostly males that lose their shite when we don't want kids.
Men are starting to realize women, without barriers, may be better, than them at EVERYTHING!🏆🎆
Ah… yes and no. We will always be the weaker of the sexes and sometimes you DO need that brute strength. Not like we used to though, that’s for sure.
Women are mentally stronger. Women should be decision makers, males should stick to manual labour. That's why it's called MANual labour.
We are good at nurturing.
And yet…women still seem to want a man…hmmm

This coming from me-a 6 figure married mom of a two year old. Motherhood is an important role in my life but it is NOT my ONLY contribution.
In order for women to be traditional women, men have to be traditional men 🤷🏻♀️

It's so much easier to blame women than admit something has gone bad wrong in the running of this country since the days of boomers owning homes and raising families on a factory workers salary. Infuriating.
I guess my answer to him would be, if men stayed faithful, protected their families, stayed to work in marriages instead of upgrading their wives turning their loving wives into single mothers now struggling to pay bills because they "thought" their husbands would be there to uphold their side of the bargain. I give up my career and life for kids and marriages and you support us theeeeeen maybe more women would be excited.

Millennial parents?....how old are you??

Deprogramming is a perfect term for this.
deprogramming from what? the entire history of mankind? you're being actively programmed to "progressive" ideals and you can't even see it. gayest generation ever comes to mind...

Mona Lisa Smile is a great film that deals with this exact subject perfectly. A must watch for all the Shalligators out there!
A good comment. I believe that the movements to introduce women to work was not becouse being at home was bad, it was becouse many abuses.
Today’s world is not the time to have children. It’s way too messy. Not like the old days when the neighborhood was our playground and you knew you had to head home when the street lights came on. When being outside exploring your backyard was a universe of fun.
Shallon, you have no idea how badly I needed THIS VIDEO, especially at the 35min mark I'm gonna write that quote out...thank you! 🥺🙏💕
I think there is also a cultural aspect to someone of this too. I know Asian parents are usually very traditional and it's not an ego thing for them. It's just how they were socialized and rasied and it's too hard to deprogram. It's not that they want control over you. They genuinely think they know the best way for you to live.
Power Ego and Control!
Those men love control!
You are fucking hilarious 😂 AND looking your best! ❤
I’ve told my older brother than I don’t think I’ve hit my prime. Physically I look 19 & I am not ready to have children yet and want to finish my degree . He said that the degree can wait but children can’t. Sir I’m 26 years old, I have a lot of time
Yes, males nowadays are taught that women’s fertility ends at 25, meanwhile, it actually stops at 50! They have no idea what they are talking about, and they don’t know that male menopause = andropause is a thing and happens a lot earlier than menopause.

Absolutely!! The red pill cult is teaching them that a woman’s fertility ends at 25, meanwhile, it actually stops at 50 or later!

He plays sports for a living. Not contributing to the society with anything else than entertainment. He's does sports professionally, and even if his committment and hard work is admirable, let's be honest, he's not using his brain on a daily. And probably lost brain mass from all the knocks. Why even listening to what he has to say👋 bye
👏👏👏
Shallon's best advice: you need to learn to trust your own voice. There is nothing more fulfilling than facing the consequences of your own actions. There is nothing more soul-destroying than facing the consequences of someone else's decisions.
I like how you dragged the mighty Mr. Tator Tot to the mud😂
This is the kind of advice you hear from your great-grandmother. Im going to make this video my daily motivational / empowerment speech.
I’m sorry the growing number of Cigarettes is taking me outtttt 😭😂😂😂😂
The cigarettes took me out. Did you buy those for the video? I'm screaming! 😂
Ooo no but now I’m gonna look it up!
NOT THE CIGARETTE HAHAHAHA!!!
It’s also confusing because Catholicism was one of the first religions to give women an option beside marriage to devote their lives to? I hate people defending him saying it makes sense given that he spoke at a Catholic private college. Like the nuns devoting their life to God (the highest calling for them) would disagree with his speech.
Like did he not pray to all those female Saints? How about Joan of Arc? Like this man is crazy and not even Catholic?
Not only that but nunhood and monkhood are some of the most revered lifestyles in traditional Catholic communities. In high class families, it's very important that at least one son or daughter becomes either a priest or nun, it's something they hold pride in.
I know this because I'm a descendent of 2 upper class catholic families from Spain and France.
shallon i think this is your best video yet 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
As a person, if you can give up your religion/faith and your dreams for marriage, there are certain conclusions that can be made about you. I can consider your career but your FAITH? NAH. So she can also convert to another faith if…. NAH!
Shallon, YOU cracked me up so hard at the beginning g of this video !!! I’m still laughing!! You are HILARIOUS!! The heavy breathing, the noises, it just struck me SO FUNNY!!! Thank you!!!❤
I enjoy my child free life to the fullest!! I get do whatever tf I want & I get to parent my own inner child since I had a f*ck up narcissistic mother. Because of this I was able to work on myself and focus on my purpose, which is so much more than just having kids. Sorry, not sorry. 😆
Oh shallon you preaching today 🙌🏾💞
Maybe this would be too dark for a video topic but Cassie and Diddy? That video camera footage is horrific.
Didn’t hear about this until I saw your comment… oh my god…
It was the most cardio that man has ever done
WOW. I hadn't seen this until now. What an absolute disgusting piece of trash 🤬

I wish he would have just spoken for himself, not for his wife.
