    I'm just drooling over the collection, totally amazing !!!! I couldn't pick only one .... my top five would probably be watches 1, 8, 13,18 & 24. Thanks for a great series of videos on the 30T2

    All beautiful & suit your wrist size perfectly. Hard to pick a favourite when they're all so nice but my 3 to start would be:
    8. ck 2383
    10. ck 2400
    13. ck 2122.... in fact just ship them all over i cant do it.A pleasure to see such fine examples especially in today's market of "homages" and so on. Thanks for sharing.

    Gorgeous collection! You have excellent taste in watches. Is there a specific term for the dial design on watch #8? I love the look of the numbers on the dark circle. Thanks!

    Wonderful collection! Have you redone the dials on some? They look almost new. It's amazing how good the condition is for such old models. Great video

    • @TimelessHistoryChannel
      @TimelessHistoryChannel  3 года назад +1

      Thank you! There is no redial in this video. All 30 pieces are with their original factory finish dials. A vintage watch dial does not need to show aging in order to proof that it is not a redial. In fact, there are many aged dials that are actually old redial. Self knowledge is key. Never guess or assume in this hobby, or you'll make some expensive mistakes.

    Excellent video. Would you please help me choose a watch, actually help me make sure that it's Omega authentic, like the dial and the case. I have something I'm interested in and just need a little help. Would provide a link of course. Do you have an email I can email you the link to the listing of the watch?

    Have you ever opened a radium watch case back without a mask ?
    The case back on of mines popped off by accident and now I am stressing out ahah

    • @TimelessHistoryChannel
      @TimelessHistoryChannel  2 года назад

      All the time. Just avoid breaking the radium dust and sniff it. I have a radon and Geiger detector in my watch shop. It gets to the unhealthy level if you have 100+ radio active watches open up in one room.

    Great collection! For me it's hard to say if the Omega text and logo is repainted or not. They use so many typ of different "fonts" through 1930-40. Isn't this very hard to tell? Thank you.

      Thank you!
      Well, like any we learn, it will take time to master it.
      I have no issue spotting a redial on pretty much any vintage Omega watch. The 1930s to 1970s are very easy, but that's because I have seen and worked on thousands of pieces in person. However, I would have issues when it comes to a different brand. So, I maybe an expert in Omega, but definitely not for another brand.

    • @Watcheyes
      @Watcheyes Год назад

      @@TimelessHistoryChannel what I was thinking about is that it seems omega used so many different fonts and logos during the 1930. I can see a watch from the same year as this time but they have Omega and the logo written in different fonts. I guess this was normal back then because the maybe used tampon print and it was a very "manual" work routine I guess. Thank you for answer, have a good day!

    • @TimelessHistoryChannel
      @TimelessHistoryChannel  Год назад +1

      @@Watcheyes This is why I cannot make a video to teach people how to tell a factory print and redial apart. It will be too difficult and confusing for most people. There are just too many different font types that Omega has used throughout each decade. You are to know it from years of experience or you don't. if you get the chance, watch this video and check the font on the piece with the bracelet: ruclips.net/video/-ETM-zt_r2w/видео.html
      That is a font you may not have seen before. 😀

    • @Watcheyes
      @Watcheyes Год назад

      @@TimelessHistoryChannel I see, some knowledge can't be teached through a video so, needs to be through own experience. Aha, will check it, thank you!
