I am a PS4 user too, but will be getting the xbox this time simply because the PS5 doesn’t even have a launch date in my country, and retailers think that it would take like 3-4 months for it to be available. Anyway, xbox sounds good too, the game pass seems like a steal, yes I would miss out on the new spider man and god of war, the awesome controller, I have played Tlous and uncharteds and I’ve always wanted to play halo and forza. If only they had enough stock.
This is such a great console. The power, the features, it's so future proof. I was fortunate enough to preorder both systems, the Series X and the PS5 Digital. PS5 will be for the Sony exclusives and Series X for their upcoming exclusives and all 3rd party games as they will surely play and look better on thr Series X. Juat disappointing both systems don't have a real next gen game at launch.
I was thinking the same thing, but later switched my decision to get the PS5 digital and build a pc. Just not in my current room, too small for a proper set up of my liking.
I don’t think consoles are future proof at all, they’re a mid range pc now, 3 years they’ll be a bottom end PC. Exclusives are it for Sony, only reason I bought my PS5

They completely updated the UI my dog. One of the biggest changes is how much faster it is. Its snappy/instant. The overhauled the lay out of everything so idk what you mean lol. Besides, people had a fuckin stroke when the xbox one dramatically changed the kick ass 360 UI. New isnt always better. It was smart for them to refine what they had instead of changing it completely and pissing off fans

I’m more of a PS guy myself, but I always buy every console that comes out anyway. I am probably looking forward to the Series X the most though because of all of the new developers Microsoft has purchased. PS4 killed it with the first party titles last gen, and I think Xbox is going to have some great ones this generation. Plus GamePass is looking like a better value every day. I preordered a PS5 but I wasn’t able to get a Series X preordered. But as soon as I see one, I will be picking it up too!
To make a recording or screenshot on Xbox One, all you had to do was press the Guide button and then press either X or Y and it automatically saves your captures. Takes half a second 😅

I really liked the Xbox One X design because it fits perfectly in my tv stand sections or right under my tv. I can also easily place it on my work desk standing it up. This new one will be a pain to place anywhere BUT I’ll still get it. 😂
I’ve had the steel series 9x for over a year now and they are absolutely amazing wireless headphones. I recommend purchasing Dolby Atmos for 15$ as well but either way they’re totally worth it. Glad you’re sponsored by steel series.
I feel like I don't really need to go out and get one anytime soon, I'm happy and content with my Xbox one S and the 2-3 more years of support. They've added the consumer friendly approach so I'm in no real rush to get the series X/S I'd want them as a pair so I'm going to have to save and I'll wait gladly.
@@mathmanchris666 I've had more time to realise that I'd only get the Series S as it would be for myself and my family is content with it's features I'd thought I'd get the X for myself and S for family. But I Don't need the Series X and I'm also interested in the PS5 so I'd likely focus on that.
i'll probably wait a year to upgrade. i have a one x that still works great and get great graphics. plus, most of the games will still work great on the one x. until more games come out specifically for the series x i probably will hold off. unless i see a really good trade in bonus.

There's no point to even talk about 8K. Consumers don't have 8K TVs, Warner Bros double blind study revealed that consumers also pretty much can't see any difference between native 4K and native 8K footage, and especially not when using regular consumer sized TVs. 4K is simply already so dense in terms of pixels. And most importantly, 8K would mean 30fps games, and games are simply better at 60fps.

The rechargable battery MS sells lasts 30+ hours, so you usually only charge your controller once a week (and I don't even thing most players play 4 hours each day). It's definitely batter than your typical one time use battery.

isn't that tv the Lg E9? if so you definitely should have hdmi 2.1 on all four Hdmi inputs. you just need to have the hdmi input set to HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color set to ON make sure Instant Game Response is on as well. to find those setting go to Picture Settings and it's under Additional Settings

@@mmm.3839 A controller may not determine if a console is better, but it's a major contributing factor. Specially due to the feed back that the PS5 controller offers over the Series X controller. The Series X's graphics might look better then the last generation but, so is PS5's. A side from faster load times and being able to switch from game to game while in the middle of another game the Series X seams to have improved little over the previous generation.
I have a shield TV, and an Xbox one s already, so the UI doesn't bother me at all. It's also bigger than my toaster, but I'll probably be grabbing the Series X instead of the S because I'm not upgrading my pc for quite some time :) excellent review as always

@@mmm.3839 A controller may not determine if a console is better, but it's a major contributing factor. Specially due to the feed back that the PS5 controller offers over the Series X controller. The Series X's graphics might look better then the last generation but, so is PS5's. A side from faster load times and being able to switch from game to game while in the middle of another game the Series X seams to have improved little over the previous generation.
I have a shield TV, and an Xbox one s already, so the UI doesn't bother me at all. It's also bigger than my toaster, but I'll probably be grabbing the Series X instead of the S because I'm not upgrading my pc for quite some time :) excellent review as always
For those looking for a good tv for the 4K that supports 120Hz with HDMI 2.1. The best seems to be the LG OLED CX range is the best one to get.
