id get the OG xbox controller over the "elite" any day of the week. it just feels better in your hands and if its still the same as the OG xbox you run slightly faster because of the range of motion of your thumb sticks( they most likely fixed that though).

But as for the Elite V2 controllers I kept having my right bumper breaking and couple had stuck drift , they are great for casual gaming but not for competitive long term in my opinion. Thousands and thousands of people been getting the same issues to the Elite V2 is awesome but not made awesome 😒
I actually have the Arctis 9x because it works with mobile, Xbox, and PC or any other Bluetooth device. They sound absolutely great and the mic is rly high quality too. Would highly recommend this and ALL steelseries products 😀
the arctis 9x and 7x and practically the same except I'm pretty sure the 7x uses a USB-C dongle and is slightly cheaper. Both great and I'm pretty sure can even connect to a playstation via Bluetooth(haven't tried it)

Honestly, if I was working right now I would have just trashed them and gone down to Best Buy for some Astros, but the 9Xs were over 200CDN so I went through the process. Not sure I will again if the replacements fail. I spend 10+ hours a day in them between games, movies and YT, so frustrations affect me more than most I suppose.
Picked up a tcl 646 for $600 on Black Friday, think they’re about $700 on sale now - 65 inch 4k @ 120hz. Best panel for that price tbh. Absolutely love it

Elite series 2 is an amazing feeing controller. I’ve had one for over a year now and I take care of mine like a new born baby but it has took a bad fell once but this controller wears down noticeably on heavy use. I have slight stick drift, RB button requires more pressure to actually work now for some reason, the trigger pressure jobs fell off recently. It’s an amazing controller but after heavy use it wears down but it still is superior to a normal controller.

It has great surround sound and audio range, which means you’ll hear things you wouldn’t hear normally (like voice lines, or bullets from far away). They also block out all the noise from the outside, and with most of them the mic is retractable, so you can wear them anywhere. I strongly recommend you pick up a headset.
On the verge of buying a couple of new systems. One being a PS4 Pro and the other An Xbox One X. I'm waiting until the fire has gone down on the next gen consoles before I purchase the series X.
Does 4K 120hz HDR then proceeds to show that you have to turn off one of those settings to even get the tv to work. So NO it doesn’t do 120hz 4k HDR it does two of the three but not all at once without issues. That’s why I stick to Samsung when it comes to TVs they never let me down.

@@BaxterretxaB 4k 60hz hdr is probably the most you will get out of games this gen, with the exception of a few games that are not very demanding such as The Tourist. 120hz will be used for lower graphical setting. DMC5 and Destiny 2 proves this, to get 120hz the resolution is reduced. Your expectations are a bit too high, if you want 4k 120hz and hdr all on go build a pc, you will not get all of that for $500.

Why release the next gen when they can’t hold up to the promise that was so hyped of 4k 120hz HDR. People will switch to pc like you said if they can’t soon deliver what they claim this gen can do.
If you managed to get your hands on one of either the X or S, just be aware that the new series X/S games can only be played on SSD so you will need to get the expansion slot if you want to store all your games on their especially the new generation games.
I just picked up the 9X, the step up from the 7's, only difference is that the 9's add in Bluetooth which you can connect to while connected to my Series X at the same time.

Wow, that's crazy with the HDR setting. It must be a tv update thing. My LG C9 doesn't have that issue. Different TV but same manufacturer so maybe check to see if the TV is fully updated and use the cable that came with the system directly to the tv.
I suspect that Microsoft would release a new version of the Elite Controller (sooner or later) to confront the overwhelmingly positive reviews of the new PS5 dual sense controller.
9:07 in the video. I don't need to spend another $100ish on an elite controller when I use a claw grip on a standard Xbox controller. Sure the elite has trigger stops but I don't need paddles when my index is over the "A B X Y" buttons. I am going to greet my arthritic hands somewhere in the 35-60 age category for helping me save some cash.

If you’re having the green screen problem with the LG Nanocell Series 85 make sure you update your Tv in the settings. I had the same issue with running 4K and 120hz at the same time until I updated the Tv
I have the Xbox controller elite 2 and it’s the better controller I ever owned the vibration it’s not as good as the ps5 controller but it’s pretty good because of the materials and all the things that you have on it
Might I reccomend a SCUF Prestige controller over an Elite Series 2. It costs less and feels great. The only reason I prefer SCUF is because my elite controllers bumpers stopped working out of the blue and I cant throw grenades or swing swords or use my grappling hook. :(

LG released a firmware update for their Nanocell TVs to fix the issue with HDR over HDMI 2.1 and I can confirm it works!

Some of the older ones may have slight problems with the cables, but that can be fixed by either cable replacement, or pushing it back in.
