    Wap7 loco is the best electric loco in India in terms of tractive effort, accleration and stability. P5 is a bo bo type and having very less tractive effort and wheel sleep cases. Wap7 is most compatible, even more than p4.....hence WAP7 is the best choice for premium and normal trains ..

    Wap 5 is very rare in southern areas. So wap 7hs would be more used.

    The moment we change the gear ratio, the tractive effort should change. Because in newer wap 5 more torque is being covered into speed..

    नये आयसीएफ डिब्बे as usual side buffers and skrew coupling के साथ स्टेनलेस स्टील मे बनाकर फिर ऊसके नीचे फियाट बोगी लगाकर 24 या ऊससे भी जादा डिब्बों वाले रेक को WAP-4 , WAP-5 और WAP-7 जैसे लोकोमोटीव से 160 की स्पीड पर चलाने का ट्रायल करके देखना चाहिये.शायद ये ट्रायल सफल हो सकता है.

    Nice video. When you say tracks need to upgrade for higher speeds, does the actual tracks need upgradation or things like fencing and advanced signalling will be enough for 160+ speeds? If so, what improvements to the actual tracks are required?

      For 160 kmph in Delhi-Agra they upgraded the signalling to ETCS 1 with TCAS.Above 160 + fencing.

      @@lokeshgidra9824 but due to signalling issues in foggy season,we are adopting ETCS lvl 2,which dont require track side signal post.It use onboard signalling,inside locomotive.

    Ashish bhai, if possible, then please make a combined video of aerodynamic WAP5, WAP7 HS, WAP5s for Tejas, Mission Raftaar, push-pull trains and how Eastern railway's decision to discontinue 17 pairs of trains will impact the punctuality & average speed of premium and other fast trains.

      Orr aap galat fehmi mai mat jiyo...bro Agrr yahi information check karna hai to mai hi hu jisne only WAP-7 KA technical information ka field mai jakrr analysis kiya hai ... Chaho to check Kerleta maira who WAP 7 KA video kabhi bhi kisi bhi bande ki information suno to ek dam sa nahi bola jata aisa apne aap hi kuch research kerli jati hai agr galat hua to bola jata hai . Mai original hp ki bat krra hu 6350 ab purana bat hogaya ab yeh info update hogayi hai....Gov site par bhi check karna chao to kerle na orr Wikipedia ka info orignal info nahi hota orrr...Rahi bat wap 5 6000 ka nahi hai ...Chai kahi check kerna orr jo wap5 6000 hp ka hai who newly introduce hua tha 2018 mai wap 5H jiska acha performance dekhte hua railways na ab jyadatar WAP-5 ko 6000 mai convert kerna start kar diya hai but sab ko kar nahi diya issliye mai na base model ki bat ki hai .

      Ha lekin Apne BTC shed ke Amul WAP 5 ne eak 24 coach train ko 110 kmph me haul kiya tha but jyada tak WAP 5 90 ya 100 tak hi ja pate ha but Auml wale ne kutch alag hi kar dikhaya tha

      Ab sabhi WAP5's ko 6000 hp mai kara jaraha hai software mai changes karke yeh pehle sa 6000hp ka liye capable tha but restricted tha 5500hp tak

      Daily koi na koi train lhb hoti jari hai ab bss wo din dur nahi jab max sab trains lhb hojayenge or jo nahi ki jarahi usko utkrisht project ka according new colour ko achha interior diya jarah hai

    Whatever unless tracks were not fit to run high speeds these locos are useless. Train 18 is capped at 130kmph so what these locos do ?? No offence .. railways should improve tracks and public too.

    Aur WAP7 215 KMPH jaa sakti hai na. Tejas aur MUMBAI Rajdhani k jaise new coaches 200 or 200+ kr sakte hai
    Gatiman jus tacks pr chalti hai vaha 200 kr sakte hai lekin har jagah nahi hai

    Low vehicle.speed resistance proportional to speed, at high speeds in 3 figures it is proportional to square of the speed... to isi liye even 100 pe chalane ke liye aero hona chahiye... Indian railways ki naakami ki DC motors jaisi company tak aerodynamic cars Bana leti hai.... Kam se Kam railways rdso should set up a good standard... aero wap5 is a joke
