Since I follow Pakistani Rail Vlogs too much there's something I guess I can add... In many videos it is told that Pakistan Railways increased its railways network from 9000 km of total length to 11000 to 12000 km, but I think it's wrong... There's not a single railway line, I know Pakistan built after 1947, instead many small branch lines are now closed and many dismantled ( for broad gauge )... And in some branch lines like "Sama Satta - Bhawalnagar - Amruka", services are suspended since 2011... Narrow gauge lines like "Thal - Kohat", " Zhob Valley Railway", "Mari Indus - Laki Marwat - Bannu" and "Laki Marwat - Tank" doesn't exist now... Two Meter Gauge routes "Nawabshah - Mirpur Khas" and "Jamrao - Naukot - Pithoro" lies under bushes... In 2005 they just upgraded the "Hyderabad - Mirpur Khas - Khokrapar line" in order to establish a connection for "Thar Express"...

Since I follow Pakistani Rail Vlogs too much there's something I guess I can add... In many videos it is told that Pakistan Railways increased its railways network from 9000 km of total length to 11000 to 12000 km, but I think it's wrong... There's not a single railway line, I know Pakistan built after 1947, instead many small branch lines are now closed and many dismantled ( for broad gauge )... And in some branch lines like "Sama Satta - Bhawalnagar - Amruka", services are suspended since 2011... Narrow gauge lines like "Thal - Kohat", " Zhob Valley Railway", "Mari Indus - Laki Marwat - Bannu" and "Laki Marwat - Tank" doesn't exist now... Two Meter Gauge routes "Nawabshah - Mirpur Khas" and "Jamrao - Naukot - Pithoro" lies under bushes... In 2005 they just upgraded the "Hyderabad - Mirpur Khas - Khokrapar line" in order to establish a connection for "Thar Express"...
