Why does the panel have to be so incredibly shoddy? Handwritten labels on controls? Why? (Not your fault personally of course). Looks like this is made for trainee ALPs. But even laymen like me are interested to know about this. So full forms of abbreviations will help. What is DJ? What is the meaning of CP? What does LSVW do? Why does it flicker frequently when the loco is in operation?
DJ=Dishunction,,, This is French word for Panto... First electric locos were imported from France.... Not now but word remained in use.. It means isolation from traction power.
it's seems to be easy but it is not. For energizing engine you need to look many procedure before starting engine and different locomotives have different functionality
Just curious to know, why is the Drives desk to badly designed, it looks more like a workshop rather than a good locomotive desk.everythng is screwed with bad panneling and clunky switches.compare it with a Vande Bharat driving desk
