Tremendous video in pelting rain. The amount of effort you put behind these videos is really amazing and praiseworthy. You deserve all the kudos and accolades!! All the best!!
Hats off to the Indian Loco Pilots. Railways is the Nerve Centre of our Nation. Without Railways normal life comes to a Grinding Halt. Normal life would have been Crippled without the Railways.
Pretty significant rakes of rolling stock too - seems 22 carriages is the norm for your express trains, and that requires a very decent amount of tractive effort! How do your express services manage wheelslip - wet rails and wet Traction wheels means VERY much reduced available friction!
where is bullet trains India Indian trains are medium level trains speed between 100-200 km/hr bullet train speed ranges between 400-600km which Japan is having now
@@theuniquebrokengamer Agree. Sir, but don't you think that this speed is more suitable and safe for our country's present technical competence, the large user base which have yet to be educated and disciplined about safety rules, maintenance of hygiene standards while using rest rooms, consideration of fellow passengers in journey ? Sadly, i find several incidents of even airline passengers inconveniencing their fellow passengers and there are abundance of incidents of verbal and physical abuse with copassengers and airline staff. So i sm not sure about IR capacity with 100 times passenger overload of airlines to deal with such problems.
Pritamji I am viewing your video after a gap of nea4ly 3 months This is the second rain affected video after the Karjat Lonawala tra in which I ave seen long back
First I must congratulate you on your superb camara "follow through" action as train pass through stations. It would be useful however, if you could give longer times for text to remain on screen; very difficult if you don't speak Indian languages. Thanks
Heavy rain. But dangerous? You can see the other side of the tracks, so it's not that bad. There's no arcing over the electrical insulators for the overhead wires. The platform roofs seem very effective, with good dry cover beneath them. Seems strange that they're not continuous, though.
@@Kishanth.J Whilst it certainly can, all carriages are braked, so stopping isn't such a problem. On the other hand, getting back underway is, since you've only got the locomotive providing tractive effort, and you'll run into the problem of wheel-slip. Also, heavy rain significantly increases the losses on the 25kV overhead network, so power availability might be an issue too. The fact that Indian Railways CAN operate express services in these conditions says a lot for their infrastructure of course!
@@vijayrajpal1010 yes and no. electric locos are more powerful and can pull more load but diesel locos can be taken anywhere as long as there are workable tracks. it is not always feasible to have high tension electric wires inside a warehouse / Godown but a diesel loco can easily take in good train in and out easily in such places.
@@vijayrajpal1010 dont be sarcastic. i was just explaining a practical issue. a warehouse may have many storage units and they have tracks in between so as to have easy loading. having high tension electric wires in such environment isn't safe.

The combination of these clips gave some funny thoughts... All trains..."weee...weee...the rains are so cool...wee..wee" And then Vande Bharat coming..."guys you lied to me..wait for me..i too need some trains.. common folks.. leave some rains for me too..!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂
Do these countries even know the CONCEPT of safety? Title says:"Dangerous rain", YET the trains are running normal speeds through depots, and WITH DOORS OPEN???? WHAT THE HELL MAN???
With all this heavy rain the trains came through with most of the doors open. But, only when it is raining but seldom when the rain stops. Can anyone tell me what sense that makes?
Heavy rain is not so bad, (unless washing away the ballast), as i have managed to slide all the way through a station (in England), in very hazy drizzle, which made the rails very slippery, as opposed to medium heavy rain that cleaned the rails of existing crud and kept a lot of trespassing idiots indoors. My networker was downloaded, thus proving that i had performed normally, yet the speedometer said i was doing 00 mph as i glided through. I was completely exhonerated for something i didn't do.
Because they are used more frequently than you would assume and absence of security personnel (general class) should not be the case with rest of the coaches
By the hand of Shiva, we are on tracks and going nowhere else, crack the throttle open another notch and hand me a bowl of curry chicken, let’s rock it!
More than anything else, the Civil, Electrical, Mechanical engineering behind the safe running of trains must be appreciated.
This is a different type of train video. Great pleasure to see trains moving in heavy rain. Great video shoot.

Great recording of a thunder storm. Glad I asm not crossing on foot. Looks like the usual high quality tack and drainage coping well -- I hope.

Great video Pritam 👍👍...all that rain makes it look like the summer that we've just had here in the UK!!.😂😂.....🤘❤️....
Kudos to all the loco pilots who drive trains at such high speeds in rains with almost zero visibility. 👏❤️
Kudos or crazy?
Thankyou for this I’ve travelled to India twice for steam WP,WG,YP,YG diesels & now I wish to return to travel behind a WAP7

India will be the only country where the bullet trains travel with the doors open.
It's called "air conditioning".
Coz of popularity bro..😂
and by the end of decade IR will have an upper deck to meet passenger overload !

Train location tracker apps like "Rail yatri" , "Where is my train" etc.
