Full Body Pilates Workout | 35 Minute At Home Pilates with a Deep Stretch to Finish

- Join me for a 35 minute full body pilates workout. This workout is a mix of standing pilates and mat pilates to target the key areas and needs to stay strong, fit and flexible. It includes a deep stretch cool down at the end. Everything you learn in this session you can apply to all my other workouts so think of it as an education as well as a workout. And if you are not female or over 50, do please do this one as I think you'll be suprised how wonderfully challenging it is. I've also added extra deep stretches to deepen your practice and reveive the muscles at the end of the session.

It the first time I have done this workout for over 50’s, I need to do regularly to get all the moves to the best. I have done Pilates over the years, but at 71, I’m pleased with my effort. Live in East Riding Yorkshire..xx

I love your workouts. Thank you for your channel. The only time I ever feel pain is when I'm lying on my side with weight on the hip (at 32 min.). Any suggestions?

Hi Rachel, I did this class 2 hours after live broadcast. This was a great combination of strength and flexibility exercises. I find the inside of my knees get uncomfortable when doing the pigeon pose to stretch the piraformis. Any tips? Glad you enjoyed your trip to Paris. We visited the same places on our last holiday to Paris and agree the Palace of Versailles is amazing. Thanks as always for another great workout ❤❤
Hi Linda, so glad you enjoyed the broadcast today. Withthe piriformis stretch I would recommend you don't bend the knees as much and see if that decreses the discomfort. it may be your knees don't like the intensity of the postion so try adjusting and see if that helps. xx How wonderful you visited those same places on your trip to Paris, it's wonderful isn't it. I am fascinated to see how they use the Palace of Versaille for the Olympics, they were building the grandstands whilst we were there! ❤️❤️❤️

I try to copy everything you do to the same extent but at 70 years of age I will have to realise my limitations 😂 I didn't know they were going to use the Palace of Versailles as a venue for the Olympics. Just finished the video. Thanks Rachel, was very good. Feel longer and taller!! I’m finding the lunges/hip stretches difficult, but I do them. Definitely helps. Ten years ago the lunges/stretches were relatively easy. But unfortunately my arthritis in hips have wrecked havoc 😢. Hard accepting my limitations, but will carry on doing my best.

Glad you feel better for the session albeit the stretches are challenging for you. So sorry to hear the artritis is affecting how your body feels. I do know that stretching is really good for managing the pain and it is really important to keep moving so please feel good about the fact that you are doing your best. I have a few really nice sessions for painful hips and I do recommend you add at least one in each week to help you manage as well as maintain your hip strength and mobility. Here are 3 to choose from for you, stick with whichever one feels really good in your body ❤️

I am over 50 cannot do the standing on my toes . I have none of those things you just showed. Love FLOOR WORK. Esp the abs….and roll ups etc. Thanks from Hotlanta. 😊

I couldn't make the class yesterday ,so missed the vote🙄 just finished it now.....loved it after a full week of doing both your playlists. The only equipment I haven't got is a ring.......... I really enjoy the ball and the weights, sometimes get tangled with the bands,but still happy to do the challenge 😉 Looking forwards to the new playlists and a new challenging week .....Thank you so much x
