A case could be made Israel is playing a tactical game, but if you assume this is all orchestrated and executed exactly. You are in conspiratorial territory.
If you want to make the claim Israel is executing these actions in a step by step plan, you need to supply a lot of evidence that points to their intent. Personally, I think you’d have a hard time convincing anyone reasonable Israel is puppet mastering every country in the region to sing to their tune. That would take a godly amount of competence.

They didn't attack an embassy, they attacked a consulate. They are not the same thing, consulates are governed by different laws and treaties. Also, contrary to myths, even embassies are not foreign soil, they are still part of the soil of the host nation but the host nation's laws don't apply there.

For those saying "a consulate is not the same as an embassy", Israel attacked the consular section of the Iranian embassy. So, factually, they attacked both a consulate and an embassy in one strike.

Iran response was appropriate. The difference is that Iran knew that those missiles were going to be intercepted and were not a danger to civilians. Those missiles were a warning only. Unlike Israel that attacks civilians knowing that they will die for sure.
