Great way to save time and money!!!
Just advise...way easier way of removing seal is that you just block both hoses with pliers and than you just start truck for a second. Seal will pop out by itself...oil might make little mass so put some cloth around it...like your videos...
That’s a good idea more than one way to skin a cat
Only block the return (low pressure) and just bump the starter, dont start engine.
This is a peterbilt gearbox but is the same on all semi trucks basically
I didn't see what truck you're working on? I need to replace one on a 1994 Chevrolet Top Kick. Looks similar to what it is
Not bad, however you can just use a blocked fitting & block the return outlet
Awesome
Great video..I believe it's only one showing this. Could you share the part number?
U can just give um your vin number and ask for input shaft seal kit for your power steering gearbox
That was Excellent!
Great 👍🏻
Looks easy but it's not..Some are very tideSpetially old truck or seal no replaced for years .👍Good idea
Mine looks like is leakinh from inside the shaft, is it possible?
👍
How did you get the retaining ring out? Why did you skip that step?
Flathead screwdriver
Where do you buy the seal kit from
Any truck parts place has them
This is exactly how not to do it! The service instructions say do not use a screw!
sometimes you're not always near a shop buddy. this is good advice for owner operators in a tight situation.
Also nobody got money for no shop right now. He ain’t damage anything so its all good
Clearly you havnt fixed any of your leaks that’s the worst I’ve ever seen in my life years of shit and build up
That’s tack that they lay down before they pave a road and asphalt 😊😂
Don't worry about other people stuff..take care of your own shit and be happy..
