The Ducati V2 SF is £14k & 20kg lighter as well as subjectively looking better imo. However it realistically isn't 4k better than this but I'd still rather have the Ducati & pay the extra as an ownership experience tbh. I just don't want or need a 150bhp i4 naked but I see it's appeal obviously.
lol Z900 cannot touch this bike in performance and hardware. Better brakes overall on SP, more power and slightly more torque, also looks better (subjective) to me, and it's cheaper than SP Verizon of Z900 oh wait it has quick shifter and Z900 with all updates still does not... sadly
This has to be the best value for money large capacity "naked" available on the market in 2025, not keen on the SP black paint finish but at the price I'd be able to afford a custom paint job !! I look forward to taking a test ride next year.

Great price point (like the 750 Hornet before), would prefer the SP in the red. Shame cruise control isn't an option. That would absolutely seal the deal for me.
@@fyorbane You’re right it’s not a tourer, but there’s times I do maybe 200 miles in a day including motorway and dual carriageways so cruise control would be useful. Also for the average speed limits I come across too frequently. Wouldn’t you use it for those things?
I have a Tuono 1100 V4 with cruise control and never use it. Why? Because I don't spend hours on boring motorways. I ride on A and B roads and have an utter blast. If touring or riding many miles to work on motorways then I can see the benefit. But I do not ride bikes for that purpose. I have a car for that.
@ Motorways aren’t my roads of choice either. But living in a city it’s the quickest and easiest way to the roads you like. I’m not asking for cruise control as standard just as an option. Personally I’d drop the QS as I don’t track ride, and opt for CC instead. We’ll agree to differ 👍
I was dead set on getting an MT09 SP next year, but this has well and truly thrown a spanner in the works. Please try and do a comparison of both bikes if possible!

Honda leads the way yet again for the Japanese manufacturers with this bike. Selling their quality and image and performance for the sort of prices we expect from the lesser established Chinese brands. If Honda keeps this pricing strategy going forward on all of their new releases, they are likely to dominate the industry for years to come.

I sure hope Honda is going to be bringing it to the US. I'm definitely interested in the SP version. I wonder how long it will be before an aftermarket touring windscreen would be available?
I'm pretty underwhelmed by the bike itself tbh as it's a pretty average Japanese naked. However, it's still a a very decent offerring & the ultra competitive price makes it undeniably appealing & they will sell more than they can make I imagine
@@Bryan11210 Never had that issue with the one I rode. Buttery smooth throttle and no vibes. Only slight vibes through the pegs at high rpm. Others have said the same so maybe something amiss with the one you rode.

I think the new V3 will be aimed at the new 890 supersport category. The CBR 600 rr is not competitive at the top level anymore. Yamaha have the new R9 , replacing the R6 and I think Honda will do the same. The V3 layout is very interesting being a triple but much slimmer.
