    ❤ Thank you for ministering to the person holistically. I began my art journey in earnest after my husband , he was still preaching, and I had retired from teaching, a month later, we both got Covid pneumonia, I survived and he died. Along with losing the love of my life, learning to develop a new career, because public schools won’t hire teachers back except part time substitute teaching, and moving out of the parish into a house that we had been renovating.
    It has been four years and most days it feels as if it were yesterday.
    Painting and drawing have given me an outlet for that grief, but I focus on the I derive from it.
    I will definitely be implementing your strategies for grieving. I love your phrase, “I’m just griefing!”
