Appreciate the vid, however pretty meandering and less than useful. TRQ or someone has a 5 min one which actually shows how to do it vs explaining it, and critically shows how to insure the belt is tensioned properly. If you undertighten, obviously it slips. If you overtighten, you'll wear out the bearings on all the pulleys. AC, etc. Tighten be 'loosening' the top tensioner adjustment bolt until you can twist the bottom of the belt up between 60-90 degrees from horizontal, no more no less.
Is the tensioner nut reverse threaded? I have to change my alternator and I couldn't get that tensioner loose for the life of me.
Turn it to the right to loosen
it is not reverse threaded.
Mine just snapped off

How the fuck does it tighten? Tightening the top piece loosens belt, this makes no sense
