This project celebrates women in Metal and aims to inspire men and women of all ages and backgrounds by discussing issues, sharing advice, and celebrating experiences.
“Women rock!” says Doro Pesch, iconic singer of Warlock and DORO, “and have so much power. I am so glad to be a part of this!” In the ⚡⚡ WOMEN ROCK! ⚡⚡ project, Doro and her peers share their personal experiences and inspirational advice.
“It feels good to talk about all of this and I never do,” shares Clémentine Delauney, singer of Visions Of Atlantis.
In the series of videos, women - both on and behind the stage - open up about overcoming struggles and show the world how much women rock! Starting March 8th (International Women’s Day), a series of over 30 interviews and compilation videos will be shared via the Belgian Jasper RUclips channel.

10 years ago after AIC and Down played in Melbourne, my sister and I ran into Down (sans Phil) at Cherry Bar and spent ages chatting with Kate, Pepper and Jimmy. I asked Pepper if it would be okay to get a photo... The look on both of their faces when I handed him the camera to take a photo of us with Kate! Ahahaha it's a glorious photo! They both laughed so much. GREAT NIGHT

Dude, he can barely sing anymore - only growling and baritone. He needs to do another Down record, if he's still able to actually sing. He went from like 3 1/2 octave range in 1990 to a 1 1/2 (if that) octave range now.

I recently saw you side stage at the Pantera Concert in Adelaide, I totally fan girled it and yelled out 'Kate your a boss'.
I have loved Pantera since the 90's but I got more excited to see you side stage then Phil. You're the woman behind the man, keeping it all running and I am 100% envious and completely in awe of you at the same time.
It's been playing on my mind ever since the concert, as it appeared you heard but was unsure what was called out. If that is the case then please know I was shouting out to you. You are an absolute boss who had already forged her own path in the music and metal industry. You Rock, and Women Rock and your an absolute inspiration 🤘😝

I was front row at the Slayer concert in Moline Illinois. I saw Kate standing by the stage and wanted to call her over to say hi but felt it would be rude. And what would I say "Um HI! I think your so cool and I follow you on Instagram and love seeing all of your animals" I would've felt like a stalker lol:) It's so cool to see her doing a video. Hope she keeps doing them!

It is great to hear from Kate. I knew her from college when she ran the radio station. She also promoted a Dying Fetus Sadomasochism show in Grand Rapids that I attended.
This is awesome I always thought it would be cool to pick her brain. I first saw her on the 2nd Superjoint Ritual DVD extras where they're on the back of the bus talking about how Phil thinks the fans can see him when he's in the bathroom on the bus....lol. I wonder what her favorite band of Phil's is.

I like this video. I'm the only boy raised with women I appreciate women I hate to see them get treated badly . I recently lost my sister to suicide because she got beat up and tortured by her husband for so long that she couldn't take it. I would do anything to help take care of my two baby nephews I just don't know how this is all insane. I just have to pray that God will make me useful and help me fulfill my life to be successful so I can at least make the savings for these two kids and make a stand for women everywhere

Funny story- 2004-ish- I saw Superjoint in Philly at this place called the TLA. I was a total Phil-dork at the time and ran around to the back of the venue after the show. About an hour later, this girl comes out the back door with a case of water while I'm blabbing out loud how badly I wanna meet Phil. She goes- "Hey, carry this water to the bus for me, and I'll get him to sign something for you." Me, being young/drunk/stupid laughed it off as some stupid girl that works at the venue trying to get me to carry a heavy case of water that she didn’t feel like carrying. Years later- at a down show- I realized that chick was Kate. And boy did I feel f*ckin stupid. 😬🤣🤣

Phil and Kate try to keep their private life as private as possible. She is indeed amazing and Phil has said many times she is the main reason he's stayed on track whenever things have gone sideways in the past.
I totally respect that I know they’ve been together for many years. I have also heard him say part of the reason he is who he is today is because of her. Sometimes, it just takes a good woman to get these guys in line. I’m incredibly happy for both Phil and her! She’s absolutely an amazing woman!
I don't know for a fact, but I think they've been officially married for a few years. I saw her shortly after that at a show and congratulated her on her recent marriage, she gave me a big glowing smile and said thank you, I appreciate that.
