Glad to see this interview. I wasn't really even familiar with Xandria until about a year ago, when similar type music on RUclips Music feed brought me to some Xandria songs, both with Ambre singing and with Dianne singing. Particularly, I've been a long-time big fan of Nightwish and Within Temptation. I've been especially hooked on the combination of the band with Ambre singing though. I'm not sure there is a single song on The Wonders Still Waiting that I don't keep jamming out to still. My wife and I got a chance to see them in concert in Los Angeles earlier this year. The entire group was just as great in concert as it is to hear on studio albums/EPs. Speaking of, I'm curious about that "wagon" that Ambre referred to early in this interview. It was a small venue they performed at, opening for Wind Rose. I recall there being a black vehicle that I would better describe as a "straight truck" than an RV (I'm a trucker, btw), which I thought could have been the one that Xandria was traveling in. I've seen that same "truck" in a few other areas of the USA since then.

All of their albums are good! Really like these guys, but... ABYSS takes them to new heights, I love this album! Its not too far out there to say this is their best work to date! I hope they get the recognition they need with this album! Living my best La Vida Loca here in southeastern Arizona

Met and played shows with Ryan while he was in the Knife Trade and later while he was in Arsis. He and the dudes in the Knife Trade partied at our band space between shows, such a great dude and guitarist. If you ever get the chance, listen to his solo record. He's way more than just a metal guitar player. So talented.

Brian Tatler is a fockin' legendary guitarist! "Am I Evil"'s solo (solos?, there's like 3-4 in there) is comparable to the mastery of Vivaldi.

I'm always sceptical when I hear about bands going back to their roots, but Mörk Gryning does it well. Their reunion stuff is certainly very reminiscent of Tusen År... and the 90s.

Yes, I finally caught up with this interview! I'm glad she's a lot more confident and comfortable now, and I hope that she, and the rest of the band, get better sleep on the road. Anyway, it's finally the album release, so I'm watching this in perfect timing, I suppose, hehe. It's great that they're touring with Sirenia. I never saw them, but I enjoy a lot of their music (still haven't heard much of their earlier records), but would like to, if given the chance. But yeah, it's crazy how Xandria and Delain have similar reintroductions in the same years, as well as two EP releases this month, as if it was meant to be. And definitely Linkin Park, as well, which made this year better, in my opinion. Honorable mentions would be League of Distortion, Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy, Simone Simons, Charlotte Wessels, Ad Infinitum, Nightwish, Marilyn Manson, and of course Epica with their 20th anniversary shows, plus the new singles. So many more things that have come out, too, but I can't catch up with everything, haha. Either way, it's exciting.

I think the word Troy is trying to say at 6:15 is GROUNDBREAKING. Nightwish does what Nightwish wants. There doesn't need to be a whole nother EPIC album that hasn't been done before. I hear a lot of Human:||:Nature in Yesterwynde - and I loooove it.

Ooooh, nice! I have to check it out when I find the chance. I actually ended up meeting her, speaking for a couple minutes, back when the band went to Maryland. And maybe it was her excitement back then, but she sounded different. Her accent is thicker here, which is nice, haha.

Seen them live twice and both times she was amazing! Truly a great talent. I hope Xandria continues with her as frontwoman for a long time to come.

She seems lovely, I would love to see them, but given that I'm in New Zealand, the chances are pretty slim.

I really appreciate these EPs, gives me something physical to look forward to. Hope to see Xandria in Scandinavia sometime, we don't get many symphonic metal shows up here either. The Wonders Still Awaiting really brought me back to symphonic after many years, mostly thanks to Ambre - such a fantastic voice!

I absolutely didn't know who was their new singer, proud to see she's half french (there are not many french symphonic metal singers !!) :-D Being sick, sleeping too few, doesn't help for voice sanity ; fortunately Ambre is young and recover quickly !

Absolutely love your interviews, great content! I'd like to respectfully propose a change, or atleast explain something that's bothering me. The very low volume music in the background, for me atleast, is very distracting and it's hard to focus completely on the interview audio. Maybe i'm the only one with this issue, but just wanted to mention it :) anyways, lovely stuff and I L O V E Fellowship so much, just found out about them and the music is genuinely so fucking important to me already. If any Fellowship members happens to read this, you make my life better how can you make such perfect music straight to my heart ❤

Well 1. An hour long album isnt long, and you shouldt say so. Saberlight has perfect length. Never do less. 2. I loved the novel, and yes you should print it! 3. OMG tour Europe already. I just saw Burning Witches last night in Dallas, TX. They were pretty kickass! They did perform Holy Diver.

Just seen them lastnight in Toronto. They're so seasoned and made it into a theatrical event. They talked to the crowd for like 10 mins at the end. Legendary and they're gonna be around forever. Was the coolest crowd I've seen. So amazing
