I'm not into country music but my husband is. He had country music videos playing on TV one day and they featured Arron's song. It stopped me in my tracks. The more I listened the more tears streamed down my face. That song described everything I or I should say we have been feeling. Watching our history being erased, statues being torn down, everything being renamed. All to appease one side. Our forefathers weren't woke, half of the country isn't woke. I have family members who were in the military and to see them dragged thru the mud along with law enforcement by people who don't follow the law is insulting, infuriating even. When they play Springsteen on the radio, I change the station. I thought I was the only one who did that. This is my new favorite song, I can identify with the lyrics and I just love Aaron's voice. I admire the man for standing by his convictions and isn't afraid to call it as he sees it. So many artists are cowards, no one respects a coward. No one admires weakness.
I was done with Springsteen after he came out with a song called 21shoots. Directed at the NYPD, for a incident that occurred about 13 years ago. Putting down the cops that protect him at his concerts. I heard that all of the police refused to do guard duty for him after that.

My Dad was a Navy transport pilot in WWII. All my uncles served in that war. One of my uncles was a fighter pilot ad was shot down over Austria while trying to free it from the Nazis. Over the last three years, I feel they are all rolling in their graves and could never have imagined what our country has come to now.
‘Fade’ was released when I was in 6th grade by Staind and I thought the way Aaron sang it with emotion. That was until I heard ‘Am I The Only One’ and I could feel his sadness and anger put into this piece of work. Very powerful.

This song is by far my most favorite written in the last 20 years. I was a springsteen fan for most of my life, saw him in concert several times, shook his hand, flew to jersey to see him and all that. The night he walked out on stage to support hillary clinton after she deleted 33K emails, he became dead to me. Aaron is not the only one to stop singing along, every time they play a springsteen song. I stopped long before he wrote this song, but I sing along with Aaron and with pride.

Saw Aaron's concert in Amarillo a few years ago. The entire backdrop of the stage was an American flag. He did start until everyone stood and said the pledge of allegiance. The performance after was amazing

Springsteen was an inspiration to me when I was young. I learned to play several instruments inspired by Springsteen and his songwriting was fantastic. He has completely ruined himself as far as I am concerned. I am with Aaron Lewis on this one for sure!

I gave a few songs of his a listen and it's extremely generic country to me, his voice is far from unique and the lyrics are bland. I don't know about all this american political hassle since I'm european but if I were to make a choice between Lewis and Springsteen from a musical perspective, it would most definitely be Springsteen, his songs have more depth and life to them.

The more I listened the more tears streamed down my face. That song described everything I or I should say we have been feeling. My Dad was a Navy transport pilot in WWII. All my uncles served in that war. One of my uncles was a fighter pilot ad was shot down over Austria while trying to free it from the Nazis. Over the last three years, I feel they are all rolling in their graves and could never have imagined what our country has come to now.

‘Fade’ was released when I was in 6th grade by Staind and I thought the way Aaron sang it with emotion. That was until I heard ‘Am I The Only One’ and I could feel his sadness and anger put into this piece of work. Very powerful.

This song is by far my most favorite written in the last 20 years. I was a springsteen fan for most of my life, saw him in concert several times, shook his hand, flew to jersey to see him and all that. The night he walked out on stage to support hillary clinton after she deleted 33K emails, he became dead to me. Aaron is not the only one to stop singing along, every time they play a springsteen song. I stopped long before he wrote this song, but I sing along with Aaron and with pride.

I recently discovered Aaron Lewis and DAMN!!!!! That man sings about MY life and some of the BONE HEADED decisions I've made. Listen to his song I lost it all. He's an incredible artist and a voice i really appreciate. Rock on Aaron and i agree 💯% w/ your Springsteen thoughts. He's a big Lefty!!
I gave a few songs of his a listen and it's extremely generic country to me, his voice is far from unique and the lyrics are bland.
I don't know about all this american political hassle since I'm european but if I were to make a choice between Lewis and Springsteen from a musical perspective, it would most definitely be Springsteen, his songs have more depth and life to them.
He’s right on the overall thought. If you’re a celebrity or sports star and speak out against all this cancel culture or speak your opinion on vaccines/mandates……you get attacked.
