- Roughly 25 years after the original came this Ryan Reynolds remake that somehow fails to really add anything new or be much more compelling overall. :(
Tomorrow: Animated sins from 2017

"Catch 'em first" the film foreshadowed Ryan Renolds being in Detective Picachu
Its named Pikachu
I lost it at "Ahhh, Abraham Lincoln!"
Lol xd
Same👌
😂😂😂😂😂
Lmfaooo istg
"So what, she's dead" 😂😂
i know right =(
10:02
"Oh no! A light! My balance!" That part *sent* me 😂
Wanna know how to make a horror movie less scary? Imagine Cinema Sins criticize everything
That won't work for me since I don't get scared. I laugh. And at the pussies who get scared. Like you. Haha!
Ozma DaSilva rude
@@PersephoneDaSilva You just look like an edgy teen
Isn't the idea to make it MORE scary? That's why it's called horror. 🙂
This is the only reason I can watch some horror/suspense movies. I used to be way too terrified.
I listen to CinemaSins to help me sleep because I can only sleep to the sound of Jeremy being sarcastic in my ear
Amelia Van Long DUDE, SAME!!!
Amelia Van Long I actually feel really gay right now. Cause I just realize 8ve done the same. A crazy amount of times. Like...my wife complains about it sometimes
Im NOT Alone!!😊😃
Honestly did your friend told you that Ryan Reynolds played in this movie for his superior acting method and killing his children cause of you know......demons
Me too but I don't think he's not trying to...
I've seen so many horror movies that start with a child having an imaginary friend that if my child has an imaginary friend, WE. ARE. LEAVING...IMMEDIATELY.
Or just don’t have children
"I don't know if George should be getting all high and mighty about seeing a psychiatrist. Proper mental health is important for everyone, especially if giant arms just tried to tear you apart while taking a bath."
Funny I just started reading this and then all the sudden he starts saying this in the video I'm sinning this sin 😈
You reaction makes me think this very thing happened to you.
That extra sin for Michael Bay though hahah
TJ Lime who is he??
That dude that directs the Transformers franchise.
subwaysurfer EXPLOSIONS!?!?!!!!
subwaysurfer you don't know who Michael Bay is and you're watching A channel like this? That's a sin right there
Michael Bays' alright, I love his movies and them explosions. I saw CinemaSins giving Sins to his explosions, but for me I think they're cool and awesome! :D
"You can't rewind hair!" hahaha
Sadly that’s true
"Does the babysitter being sent off to the pscych ward mean they don't have to pay her"!🤣🤣 that part had me dying!
The scene where he lifts up Chloe Moretz, and kisses her on the cheek, and she looks at her mom like "mommy?", was kinda scary not the kiss itself, a stepfather does that, but the look he gave them, "behave or get punished" look.
What the hell, why did they kill the dog in this version? My favorite thing about the original is that they saved the dog!
Helenlefab NOT THE DOGGO!!!!!!
Might as well remake Elm Street and have Freddy Kreuger kill everyone and rule all the dreams.
Good Point
Yes ! Save the dog ! ❤️❤️❤️
Who gives a fuck
Does anyone else watch the Cinema Sins instead of the movie?
TehPwndaz often yes.
Yeah, it’s a guilty pleasure of mine.
Asher lol, I do the same for films you just know will be terrible, then maybe watch them later and laugh about it, but the guiltiest pleasure is seeing a sin video come out and watching the film first to see if I can sin it better. :D
Sometimes.
Me
I was waiting for the Pokémon joke, I wasn’t disappointed.
Me too, glad I wasnt the only one!
Alan Saucedo I didn't know I needed the Wonder Years joke
That joke somehow finally made me realize that Ash Ketchum is a pun for "Katch'em". Feelin' stupid.
Oh well, in my country he's called Sacha anyway...
Well, even in French his family name is "Ketchum" :P Sacha Ketchum (I guess they couldn't find a lame pun)
GOTTA KATCH'EM ALL, POKÈMON!
"Oh no, a light, my balance!" I'm crying xD
Alright 27th rule of "How Not To Get Killed"
Don't move into a creepy old house even when the agent says there's nothing wrong with the house
I love how he gave it two more sins for Michael bay I love it lol
He should have given it a thousand more sins for Michael Bay
It was just one.
No, he didn't. He added a sin for the a/the discrepancy, taking the total to 128, and then he added ONE more sin for Michael Bay, taking the total to 129. 129 - 128 = 1
James Relich it’s 2 sins cause it’s 127 then points at Michael bay and foes to 129 therefore you need to stay in school 127+2=129. Idiot watch 11:20-11:23 it’s 2 sins
.....Is this some kind of joke that I'm missing? Yeah, it says 127, and then he sins the wording of "Based upon a Screenplay by" and it's 128. THEN he sins Michael Bay...ONCE. Watch from 11:14. Are you getting confused because the dings are too close together? The first ding is the "Based upon a Screenplay" sin. The Bay ding comes immediately after that because he's not saying anything, so maybe that's why you think Michael Bay's getting two sins, but he isn't.
Ryan was so intense in the wood chopping scene film crew members started crying. And that kid actor is such a champ that Ryan slapped him without it being in the script and he just roled with it.
3 A. M. Is the witching hour I don't know why ghosts would wait 15 minutes after the witching hour starts to be mischievous.
they messing with our emotions
3:00 a.m. is a mocking of the Holy Trinity - y'know, Father, Son & Holy Ghost? (btw, I'm a Wiccan and even I know this)
They had to finish there tea and crumpets
12am-Dawn is pretty much witching hours
That's pretty funny. I could just imagine Jodie's spirit drinking tea with her dead father with a fake mustache on wearing a monocle and top hat when she says, "Oh, I do say I enjoy our finest tea and crumpets. they're so good. especially with butter on them." in a fancy man's voice.
Cinema sins sins the movie for not having a flash warning
Doesn’t put flash warning on his own video
*Ding*
Actually, 3:15 is an important time in Catholic lore. It is believed that Jesus died at 3:15 in the afternoon as he hung on the cross making the 3:00 hour in the afternoon a "holy hour" so to speak; 3:15 especially. So, by proxy, 3:15 in the morning, and the 3:00 hour as a whole though less specifically, is the "devil's hour" or the time farthest from Jesus's death and therefore the most likely hour in which demons (though not ghosts) will haunt/attack the living. Though, as this movie doesn't know how to catholic, this was never made clear, and that should still deserve the sin.
there should have been a scene at the start of the movie, ...somewhere in Judea...just around tea break time.... roman guy looks at wristwatch...yup hes dead...time of death....3:15....(scribbles on tablet) time for sandwiches guys...do..de...dooo....get my spear would you?
such research
Hayden Wheatley actually, I don't research that. I'm from a Catholic family, though I wouldn't call myself Catholic, but between my education in Catholic schools growing up and other, well done, horror movies, this is a take away I learned randomly.
Well I suppose the Romans did some necrophilia shit to jesus at 3:15.
Being raised in a catholic country, in a catholic family, I'd never heard of it. I always thought it referred to Genesis 3:15 since it says (pardon the english translation) " I shall put enmity between womand and you, and between your seed and hers; hers will crush your head, but you shall bite her ankle" and knowing the bad treatment of any religion by Hollywood I was like "eeeh... It kinda does fit..."
Not saying the hour thing is wrong but, to me, it sounds terribly off. The actual thing, not the movie relation.
What? Only ONE sin for Michael Bay? Someone's been taking his Xanax.
Jeepers Creepers, do it.
I was always scared of the movies as a kid, then watched it a month ago and said "this is really stupid and not scary at all".
No don't
YASSS I LOVED THAT MOVIE! First and the second one were awesome
...oh okay.
Sounds good tho
They'd really have a field day with that one.
"No explosions were made during the making of this film" - Michael Bay said
Just realized the little girl is Chloe Grace Möretz
Jack Westbrook same took me a while to realize it’s actually her
You can’t miss her with that chin lol
same I saw her in the movie, Big Momma's House 2 and made the connection
Ahhh yes good ol footface
Wasnt she in diary of a wimpy kid
Not sure how we got four of the same haunted house movie but at least you'll never run out of Amityvilles to sin.
Guy Incognito I just looked it up, how the fuck did a shitty horror film like Amityville get that many damn sequels?
“There was a murder here”
Me after hearing that “I’M OUT!!!!”
Same
🎶F*** this s*** I'm out!🎶
@@decepticusprevails and singing that on your way out the door 🤣
“George kills the family dog. That’s the sin.” 😂
Everything wrong with “it”(1990) and 2017 please
There is nothing wrong with the 1990 It.
immikeurnot well... you know, there is 🤷🏼♂️
immikeurnot "no movie is without sin."
immikeurnot - except for any part on the 1990 "IT" that has anything to do with the kids as Adults
Or except for the part where the 2017 movie completely skipped the kids as adults.
I just love the extra sin for Michael Bay. XD
3:31 I will be honest that was the most scary part in the movie 😨
that part caught me off guard
I watched this a looooooong time ago. I can't believe it was the first horror movie I watched and seeing it again I can't see Ryan Reynolds the same as I did back did. I keep thinking of his comedic movies.
The scene where he lifts up Chloe Moretz, and kisses her on the cheek, and she looks at her mom like "mommy?", was kinda scary not the kiss itself, a stepfather does that, but the look he gave them, "behave or get punished" look.
Wow two vids In two days? The end is near...
And another one tomorrow, apparently!
wanpakudanpu the one tomorrow will be the 2017 Amityville right?
Well that would make sense, but the clue in the description says "Animated sins from 2017"... so I guess they are saving that one...
That what Dwayne and jazz does all the time did u know no matter how early u get they never fell to u also did u know they haven’t reply to me ever that’s rude
ıllılılı мιlεs ıllılılı Bεyond ıllılılı world must be ending
Can you do Everything Wrong With IT(2017)
and then the original movie.
probably has to wait until the DVD release of the movie, otherwise it would be seen as piracy, and not as criticism/review.
YESSSSS
TheFurball98 Then more things to criticize!
Ibrahim Sharrocks um it came out on dvd like December 19th
Speaking of Sweeney Todd, that's a movie i would like to see the cinemasins for. (Sweeney Todd is one of my favourites so i must watch it get destroyed. )
Produced by Micheal Bay: "oh, that's why the cringe baby sitter scene"
It would be very nice if you did Final Destination 1 (2001)
Swagmaster S4AN Veeeery nice!
Swagmaster S4AN o yes
I don't know, he usually sins a movie when they use contrived ways to brutally kill off characters, what is he supposed to do when that is the movie's entire premise?
Yeah, that whole FD series really deserves it. So many ways death can take away a person's life, which also means those movies gonna be sinful as &¨$8...
Also, we gonna hear this very same liek over and over again: "It was all a dream" Cliche...
Swagmaster S4AN yeah!!!
For the first 20 minutes, I thought Melissa George was Rachel McAdams. **DING**
New Message
That's the best Profile Pic/Name combo I've seen
New Message
That's a sin for your eyes, not the movie
Sam Lemke haha right that's what I was thinking LOL
Why are you everywhere that I go lately, with top comments that are ultimately only mediocre?
Are you a bot with a botnet supporting your posts?
That Return of the King joke killed me. The theater clapped 6 times to that movie, thinking it was over. Still makes me giggle when it finally goes to credits and no one clapped thinking there was more.
The scene where he lifts up Chloe Moretz, and kisses her on the cheek, and she looks at her mom like "mommy?", was kinda scary not the kiss itself, a stepfather does that, but the look he gave them, "behave or get punished" look.
Honestly, every time an upside-down cross appears, I'm just like "oh no! it's Saint Peter!"
I really hate how people don't do any research and if they did they would realize an upside down cross isn't a satanic or demonic symbol. It is saint peters cross.
NERD
i mean for gods sake it is on the Popes throne.
Also in case other people where wondering Saint Peter was crucified upside down as he didn't want to be crucified the same way as Jesus. A upside down cross resembles humility.
Derick Zellar I think a lot of people know that. It's just that, well, screenwriters don't.
Also, "upside down cross when a demon is about to attack" cliché
most of the newer generations only know the upside down cross from horror movies
ya. people also usually mix up the saitanic pentagram with the star of protection (or whatever it was called)
at this point in time ALOT of things often lose and change meanings cuz of mainstream. I mean...look at our words, lol.
The reason for the 3.15 thing is spirits gain strength then. Kind of a 'witching hour' thing. Also the reason for the long drawn out 'haunting' is demons are supposed to do it because the longer it is, the more strength they gain from their victims negative emotions (ie, fear, anxiety so on).
"Damn, this house is cheap, we made a killing in this buy." Ohhh. That would be the perfect pun. No?
I find myself enjoying all your videos more than the actual movies 😂 keep em coming..
The Calamityville Horror.
Smart. Like.
aw yes
ryan reynolds' abs are the best in the business, brilliant stuff. Noice.
Shirtless Ryan Reynolds is a gift, not a sin; adding sins for that was a sin in itself
Yes, Dennis Quaid's used to be like that.
Before him, Paul Newman.
"Gotta Catch em' All" *DEAD!*
3:20 *You'll float too..You'll float too..You'll float too..*
Everything wrong with The Shining
topnotch3232 good luck on him taking your suggestion because he didn't take mine I want him to do everything wrong with Sleepaway Camp but he doesn't do it or he didn't do it or he won't do it. So I'm guessing he doesn't take suggestions but that's a good suggestion.
Theres nothing wrong with the shining.
topnotch3232 that would be a tough one, but a good idea. It would take some close examination considering kubrick's attention to detail and symbolism
Which version?
I repeat. There is *nothing* wrong with the shining.
Ketcham : Gotta Remake em all.
Whoever does the clips after the videos is a freakin genius! They deserve a raise!
The music from the home video started right after you mentioned the pro house lobby, and for a second I honestly thought you were going to have a commercial said lobby play XD
6:57 Yeah, from where I live it's about a 10 minute drive to Siver Lake WI, where the movie was filmed. Beautiful views and good fishing as well.
How about doing videos on cult classic movies like "Clue", "Rocky Horror Picture Show", "The Warriors", "Barbarella", and/or "Big Trouble in Little China" (these are a few of my favorite cult classic movies)?
Or go crazy and do one on Pee-Wee Herman? 😳
Pee-Wee's Big Holiday deserves all the sins.
SunnysFilms,
Pee-Wee Herman, the character and the movies, was amazing (even now I still get a sense of nostalgic). It was wacky, imaginative, funny and kid-friendly. As well as, goofy with a dash of silly.
You may have realized by now I only give out good reviews on cult classic movies. I'll leave the sins to the professional. 😉
And that is all well and true - which is what makes Pee-Wee's Big Holiday all the more depressing. I loved Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Pee-Wee's Playhouse. They were the true classics. Unfortunately, the revival attempt of 2016 with Pee-Wee-s Big Holiday lacks all the fun and energy of its predecessors. I'm not sure if you've seen it and I have a hard time recommending it, but as you're such a big fan of Pee-Wee Herman, you may wish to check it out and see what I mean.
SunnysFilms,
Actually many revivals attempts or remake of any cult classic movies will probably fail, in my opinion. Only saw the trailers for the movie. Couldn't bring myself to actually see the movie. In my universe, it doesn't exist. 😣
And I will always cherish the original show and movies (except for that one).
they should do one on Donnie Darko, it'll be 72 minutes long.
Just wanted to say that watching your videos really calms me down- I suffer from major depression and your videos really helps. Thank you 💜
The scene where he lifts up Chloe Moretz, and kisses her on the cheek, and she looks at her mom like "mommy?", was kinda scary not the kiss itself, a stepfather does that, but the look he gave them, "behave or get punished" look.
"On THEIR land."
Perfect.
Y'all shoulda removed sins for Ryan Reynolds' abs
Scene does not contain a lap dance so sin any way
Yes, there is a lot of dancing in labs. Do you mean *Lap* dance dumbass... you're grammer is being with atrociousnessitude.
Dern Vader k
Elisa Castro sounds like you hold a grudge
Overall good looks
Come on guys, don't act surprised. We all KNEW this was coming. This better have more damn sins than the original.
ourWorld Lucy I like your name ...
They're actually exactly the same XD
averythesuperhero I didn't even notice that.
+averythesuperhero No they are not. The 1979 version was actually quite faithful to Jay Ansons novel. This version ignored the book and had no input from the Lutz family. This version is pure garbage.
Thanks for the more appropriate song a la The Wonder Years during the "mash up" at the end!
OMFG The Christmas Vacation reference during the outtakes. Bravo, CS. Bravo.
No "No Amityville For Old Men" today? :-(
ya wey no mames xd nadie te va entender. El pinche Google Translate ni sirve pa verga. Aparte, 80% de tu comentario es pura mamonés tuya. Pinche, parece un filler episode de la anime Naruto.
Confused where the sentence starts cuz of username jaja. Ese es el pinche chiste. Lol!
DIY giveaways & tutorials what the fuck are they pennywise
Ah Abraham Lincoln!
On the note of "sharing the same room" sin, me and my sister have shared the same room for our entire lives (eighteen months age difference) and even when we had extra rooms my mom made us share. she said it would "build character" and " prepare us for collage roomates"
Aah! Abraham Lincoln! LOLOLOLOL
do everything wrong with some classic romcoms or dramas (ie, pride and prejudice, bend it like beckham, bridget jones diary, ENCHANTED, PRINCESS DIARIES???)
Sansa Stark
I vote yes for all.
Arif seconded and so I do; the motion carries.
arent those hard enough to sit through as is.sheesh
11:52 made me lol. do more horror movies, try Shutter or Train to Busan
I love this! thank you!
I give 10-20 sins whenever a pet gets killed. Especially if there really isnt a reason for it.
You can say it was to add gore or horror, but I'd be more scared or unsettled of human bodies than a pets. It just doesnt work the same if it's a pet.
The dog's death in this film just made me angry, especially since it didn't happen in the original. It was just thrown in there.
This is just my personal opinion though.
Realafah I agree.
Good for you...
I quit watching 100% of the time.
No movie that kills the dog is worth it. They all suck.
Last one was "Hereditary." Case in point. Liked the miniatures. Could have seen just as good online all day long and not wasted 2 hours of my life on that stupid film, tho.
If I were in the theatre, I'd demand my money back. Yes, you can do that.
Winds of March Journey/Perry tribute band Come on, as much as I hate pets dying in movies your telling me movies like John Wick are terrible just because his dog dies in it.
Bullitt 0 No way! John Wick brings the wrath of God down on the sons of bitches that killed his dog. Which makes the movie easy to relate to- who wouldn't want John Wick moves if their pet was violently murdered?
Please do everything wrong with the Mist dang it!
So its bad because its sad? Really?
He caps them so they don't get murdered by the aliens because he thought no one could help them
The ending is what makes the movie so great. Stephen King even said he wished he had thought of that ending when writing the book.
He already did that movie!
go threw his list
Jason Grey no he hasn’t. If he has, go watch it.
I thought the Sin Counter would break when Michael Bay was shown to be the producer.
Patrick Martins I did too
Loved the Return of the King joke. Another great video guys.
They actually didn't use the car to get away because George slashed the tires with the axe. There's a very brief shot of it but it is there
Ryan's abs where the best parts of the movie
I legit checked the calendar because I wasn't sure if today was Wednesday or Thursday.
same
Could have sworn I already watched this, but nope. Thanks, RUclips recommendations. For once, you recommended something I hadn’t already watched
The lick-able wallpaper at the end made me cry 🤣🤣🤣
Did I sleep through Wednesday?
gonaedeath2 I had to double checked my calendar.
Lol...i HATE when a holiday or snow day happens on a Monday
I spend the rest of the week playing catch up
ohwell94 - Be thankful you're not in the United Kingdom, then: yesterday was a bank holiday as well.
Yes, if you live in New Zealand!
Check last week's description
"sees michael bay name, figures why movie is what it is"
Katch 'em & Kill 'em. Jeremy, your outtake on that fridge magnet brewed an idea inside my mind about filming a Pokemon slasher.
great job reviewing both versions
When a human dies in a movie:🤷♂️
When a dog dies:😭
JJ'sGreatGames and Vlogs Nice 2012 meme
I literally cried during Marley and me. Never cried during any other film, and barely ever in real life.
Gear Head
Hachi?
The Green Mile?
(UP -Beginning scene)
JJ'sGreatGames and Vlogs ya which has always been dumb logic to me like I should feel worse about a person dying then an animal but it never works out like that
the animals in the movie are WAAAAAAAAAAY smarter than humans and they always kill them. son of a *****!
For a second i thought this was a reupload.
Strange things really happened on the set. Cold breezes, a shadow, people falling. Anyone that tries to recreate, write or live there seems cursed.
To be fair to Rod Steiger, he left not so much out of fear but he suddenly got violently sick. And the family was out on a boat at the time.
AHHH! Abraham Lincoln! That got me giggling.
A dog died. Why does this not have more sins?
This is one of the best RUclips channels!
'Your fully-functional haunted house comes complete with a Darth Vader!' *LOL!*
Can't wait for 'Everything Wrong With The Last Jedi'
Vanilla Butcher gonna be a long video
I'm guessing it's gonna be a 2 part video like the prequels
Vanilla Butcher some of the prequels like revenge of the sith didn’t even deserve 2 parts. It was actually good
Vanilla Butcher he’ll sin many things, but also take random sins off throughout just like from Get Out
Probably might even take sins off just to piss off the whiny fanboys.
I predict they'll do the 1990 IT before the years out and then the new IT for the new year. The Pennywise reference was a hint.
Three years later you were right. IT and IT two were both made
The blooper at the very end of the video was dark, but hilarious
I loved the movie, I know it wasn't like the 1st movie but the acting was on par! Ryan Reynolds was so realistic that he actually made the kid in the boat shed, cry, for real cry...
The scene where he lifts up Chloe Moretz, and kisses her on the cheek, and she looks at her mom like "mommy?", was kinda scary not the kiss itself, a stepfather does that, but the look he gave them, "behave or get punished" look.
HI!! U r the best RUclips btw u make me laugh so much 🤣🤣 lolz
stevelewis24 your dog is cute. Just so ya know
HAVE FUN IN THE TRENDING SECTION
"I Am 12"
"More Like Twelve-Hundred"
"Tommy, how's the peeping?" - haha, I see you dusted off an oldie there.
*THIS IS THE ONE I WANTED*
Happy Holidays guys
its called christmas and fuck you
the thing I love about this is that it's set in the 70s. also, Kiss references
The line about the dog in the original and remaking Casablanca and shooting the plane down was the best😂😂😂
