I had cancer when I was 18. Went through 3 rounds of chemo. I can’t imagine how tired and sick you feel and yet you’re still being the best momma and wife and getting out. Wish you the best. You’re an awesome human!

My husband has stage 4 cancer, too. Today we drove up to our campground on a creek in the hills. Friends were there camping and we had potluck dinner and two cakes! It was good for him and good for me too to be around friends (that are more like family). Enjoy your time in nature!
Not a post about cancer…but I went to college in Newberg, Oregon and was out for my early morning run when Mt. St. Helen’s erupted. It was a Sunday and I didn’t know why I was literally eating grit in the air, but didn’t know about the eruption yet. A couple of months later, I decided to ride my bike from Newberg through Ranier Park and into Seattle. It was a spectacular ride because my friend and I rode through the area where all the roads were closed, along the Cowlitz River. They were closed because of flooding. I will never forget that ride. It was insanely gorgeous in the midst of loss…entire farms we rode by under water. But a trip I took some 40 years ago that was the most amazing ride. I miss Oregon/Washington and the cascades so much. Your video made me want to move back right now! What a wonderful place to find some peace in the midst of chaos. ❤

I love rocks, Crystals, minerals. I have a collection. If I find something unusual I bring it home. Usually from beaches in Europe. Especially where there are volcanoes, or old volcanoes like the Spanish Canary Islands.
