I just came across your channel. In 2015, 9 days after I buried my father I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of unknown primary. Surgeries, complications, 30 days inpatient, home health, too many scans to count, iron infusions 24 rounds of chemo and the knowledge the average life span was 9-12 months. 8 years later I’m still in remission and down to 1 scan per year. Praying your Sarah receives the same miracle I did. One day at a time!
Oh my! It’s wonderful to hear your story. I’m so pleased and happy for you. That must have been an extremely hard time for you - but worth it! Stories like yours can give Sarah the hope that she needs, hope that we all need, so it’s super important that you took the time to write. Congratulations, may you continue in good health. ❤
I'm fighting stage 4 cancer and it is so freaking hard. She is dojng amazing and so are you! It so cool she has such an amazing support network. I will be following and praying for you all ❤ xx
Thank you so much for taking the time to include us. It means a lot!! Your family has captured our hearts. I read these comments and it warms my heart to know that there are still wonderful people in this crazy world. Please give Sarah a gentle hug from us and tell her she is LOVED!!❤️
Praying so hard for everyone. Please Lord, allow Sarah and family some grace. She has been through so very much Lord . I'm praying everyday. So hard. 🙏 🙏 🙏 .
No questions- just prayers and virtual hugs. You should feel really proud of yourself for being so organized and for having a tribe that rallies around you.
Josh, I don't envy you. You're trying to thread a needle. Sounds like you have a lot of support and love. That can bring nothing but hope. Praying for Sarah and you. Nothing about what you're going through is easy, but both of you are doing so amazingly awesome.
You are such an eloquent speaker . It helps us understand how Sarah is and what's going on. Thank you for sharing with us. Positive thoughts for this weaning week
I feel the improvement in Sarah’s speech tells us the radiation has helped. The art of healing begins where the science ends. This today are so much better than that terrible news day. One day at a time. Happy for GOID days
It's so hard to stay "positive" with cancer. Have faith, no matter the outcome. Being tired, lethargic, "spacey" as you call it, might be frightening to you. Long as Sarah is comfortable, she may have more or less of those "lucid" minutes. Make sure she doesn't suffer, talk to the doctor, have a plan if she gets another bad headache or any other pain like that. You don't have to stay strong, but you do have to take care of yourself too.
Your family is amazing. The amount of love Sarah is experiencing from those around her must be heartwarming to her. I’m so glad no one is giving up hope. Continuing to pray for Sarah, you and your family.
You are such a wonderful husband and partner. I can only imagine how stressful and frightening this ordeal is on you Sarah and your whole family. I pray every day for Sarah to be completely healed in the name of jesus
You are all warriors. From personal experience, as a patient that wasn’t expected to live,It is much harder to watch someone suffer than it is to be that patient. My prayers are for all of you in this mighty battle! God Bless all of you!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
So much good here - Sarah’s determination, all the caregivers together listening to how Sarah wants things to be handled, your daughter home every day, having two adults home with her and your daughter all the time. So much love. Understand the fear of how the steroid tapering will go. Thank you for taking the time to update us.
I pray Sara gets her angels surrounding her, cuddling in the feathers of their wings. Know you all are loved, and the prayers are up and up. May God be with you.
You probably already realize it - but for as hard and heartbreaking as it is to hold your wife's hand through this - it's also a great privilege and blessing to be the one who she loves and allows to be there with her. I'm praying for Sarah and you and the kids.
It breaks my heart.... how hard Sarah is fighting to live!!! My mom is in an Assisted Living facility... She will be 91 on August 23...every time i talk or see my mom she always says/sings " I just want to fly away ' makes me sad!
I can not imagine the strength it takes for you to see your wife suffer and yet keep us updated. I am praying for all of you and continue to send hard prayer this week for Sarah to come off the steroids incident free. ❤
Thank you Josh for keeping us posted-it means a lot. I just saw the video of Sara singing to your daughter-her voice is so Beautiful! Sending positive vibes your way!!! Hugs from New England to your whole family. Keeping Sarah in my thoughts and prayers!!!
You’re such a beautiful family. The strength and perseverance you have while going thru this is amazing. God please spare this family from what they are going thru. Healing prayers for Sarah. Amen
My hope for you all is to get through this week as easy as possible. I understand the hour by hour. Dexamethasone is a necessary evil in the cancer world. Thinking of you all. Xx
I'm praying and believing that her body is being healed while she's getting this rest. I seen a blind woman truly regain her sight over a two month period after she had lost it for over two years. She's one of my best friends and her story is miraculous! I'm praying God will intervene and do the same for Sarah!
Sending prayers forSarah and the whole family God bless you Josh do’s caring for your beautiful Sarah and your sweet children Keep the faith with our blessed Saviour He is your Comfortor .His presence is always with you Sarah .❤❤❤❤Hugs and Love to you all

She is being so strong and positive. COME ON SARAH THE WARRIOR QUEEN you can do this sweetheart. Love you all. Praying for Sarah too. Huge hugs xxxxxxxx 🇬🇧🌹🌹🌹💕🙏🙏🙏
It sounds like you have things in order the best you can. So important for people to have those end of life discussions w doctors and loved ones. They are difficult but can bring so much relief and peace too. Lots of prayers your way. ❤️🙏
Josh, definitely praying for her and ya’ll. My sister had lung cancer and it went to her brain also. She did the same thing. In the end she started talking to our deceased loved ones. She thought I was our mommy. It is so heart breaking to see what this disease CANCER does to our love ones! But Sarah has proven that is strong! ❤🙏🏻🌹💐😘🙌🏻
Being kind and making good choices is a lesson i have improved since hearing Sarah tell us that. Lots of love and prayers for Sarah and all of you. Please tell her she has touched so many lives as she continues to fight for healing. You are a very blessed man to have her as your wife and mother to your children. Sarah is a beautiful, sweet, loving and precious woman. Big hugs and prayers for her and each of you.

Oh Josh, you all are such incredible warriors, sending intense positive vibes. You just have to go for it, totally understand, I'm so very hopeful for you all💜💙💛❤️
Oh Josh… My heart hurts for you. I can’t imagine how hard all of this is for you. You’re all doing a fantastic job. Praying so hard that Sarah gets through this week uneventful and that the immunotherapy works in an miraculous way! We are all pulling for you guys. Cancer Freakin’ Sucks!
Gosh my hat goes off to you. There is a LOT on your plate! These decisions are crippling. I had to make some of those once. My situation was different. Our first baby was born less than a pound 23 yrs ago when i was 21. We had to decide whether to resuscitate at birth, whether to transport him to a bigger hospital before i was even awake from anesthesia meaning I didn't get to meet him. Then, when the real bad stuff started happening, whether we wanted to stop heroic measures or whether we just didnt want CPR done. It was agonizing and only lasted about a month of the scary stuff before he turned the corner. I know it isnt even close to the same situation, but making those decisions was like spiritual warfare in my psyche. It messed me up for real. And that was only the first of my 3 preemies. And i work in the nicu. And ptsd is real. When life is not chaos, I hope you go get the help i couldn't afford and didn't think i needed. Love from Texas and wishing all of my love to both of you.
Thank you for the update😊 Oh Josh, tough tough time. Praying HARD that the steroid wean goes well 🙏🙏 Dear Lord please let it go well. 🙏🙏 My heart aches for all these struggles. Holding your breath and hoping for another good hour is such a tough road. Feel the love that is being sent by us POG folk - people who have never met you in person - but we know your light on the inside. Huge hugs! ❤️🇨🇦
I’m glad you have people to help I have a rare blood cancer and now my husband has cancer we don’t know where it is yet but they are setting up 8 weeks of radiation 5 days a week and we have to go 3 hours away I have to try and find a place for us to stay it’s a nightmare our parents are gone and our daughter who lives with us is special needs and thinking about leaving her alone to take care of the animals is also killing me im praying really hard for Sarah and all of you she’s going to get better soon her kids need her hope this week goes well ❤
My heart goes out to you ❤ You are coping with so much. Please share your concerns with good neighbours or maybe community or church groups. Some might be able to help with the animals and then check in with you? That why it would put your mind at rest about your daughter as well. Asking for help is hard but someoe might be able to help. Sending love ad hugs ❤
Hi sorry to hear, i dont know where u live but here in Australia u can stay in cancer council units/accomodation for very low cost, best to ring Cancer Foundation they will help u as u live 3hrs away, normally the units are close to the hospitals
❤❤❤❤ sarah and you josh have given us the privilege of giving us a snapshot of your journey, and to educate us and I hope you and your family are being prayed for, I think that the difficult conversations can ease the worry thinking of you all ❤❤❤❤
Sarah is blessed with so much love from all of you. That's so important that she is surrounded by that. Continued prayers for strength, comfort and healing.
I am amazed how you are handling this, being supportive for Sarah, managing the family and household. We appreciate the man you are Josh. Sending love to Sarah. Continued prayers for your sweet wife ❤
Josh, thank you for the update. Sarah is one strong lady. This is good. She’s surrounded by the best caretakers ever and I am sure that helps her a lot. Prayers & positive thoughts continue to get to Monday the easiest way possible. Much love to you all.
You all have created the optimum environment for Sarah to succeed and thrive. Darah is covered with a blanket of love. Please be gentle with yourself and do not second guess anything. To use another baseball analogy...the team has met, you have the game plan, and every player knows their role. Trust the doctors but be relentless with them. You've done an amazing job. Now give it to God.
You always have great care coverage plans - and care team is totally correct - nobody can give care by themselves with a serious illness. Your exploration of all options, timelines and decision making is also very well thought-out, I am so impressed! That Sarah is so involved in decisions in her own life is also so wonderful and respectful to her and how I would wish to be included in my own decision making. I will be following closely on this week and I have her name under my candle that I light daily and pray for along with someone I personally know who has colon cancer and is going through treatment now. Much love to you all!
I took all the positive vibes and prayers I could possibly muster and wrapped them in a virtual hug the size of my state of Iowa and am sending them off to you Sarah and to your family.
So much anticipation ahead.. Still playing baseball for you all! We won last night!! Hopefully this will be a portent for how the upcoming week goes! Isaiah, Braeden’s peer, got the win. Keeping Sarah and everyone in our thoughts as this big week unfolds❤ ⚾️⚾️⚾️❤️❤️⚾️⚾️❤️❤️⚾️

Thank you for taking time out to update. Thank the Lord that Sarah doesn’t remember that emergency trip to the hospital. I was terrified so I can imagine how it was for you, Zoe and family. Sending positivity, prayers and love to you all for this week and every week after. You guys are so strong and have achieved so much. Keep going, and soon the sun will shine. ❤

Thank you so much! Praying so hard for this precious lady. Love you guys!❤
