I must say, that your method of storing parsley, is fantastic! I too bake my own bread, and therefore have an abundance of bags. Every video that I’ve watched has stressed using a ziplock bag, and I don’t invest in those. So it was awesome to come across your method. Thank you for sharing your method, because it is so easy, effective, and non time consuming.
Happy Parsley!!!
Very happy parsley! LOL! Thanks for watching, Paul!
I use a lot of cilantro and I’ve always wondered about the best way to store it. Thanks.
Queen of fresh parsley and cilantro
LOL!
Thank you for sharing. 😊
That was so helpful. Thanks Amy.
Great tips, thanks!
Thanks for sharing.
Wow that's cool love that
Hi Amy & Eric!!! I enjoyed your tips . I will be using them. I try to only buy enough of the fresh herbs 🌿 as I will need. Its always more tho!!! Great video. Take ❤ care.
Such a wonderful idea. Thanks.
Thanks for watching, George!
Looks great Amy. Can you show us how you organize your refrigerator and freezer. Thanks, love your channel.
Thanks, Barbara! I can put it on the list!! I really appreciate the suggestion! It would be fun to do a fridge/freezer organization video. I hope you are having a great week!
Thanks Amy , you are a life saver , I use many Cilantro most of the time for my home cooking , now I don’t need to buy fresh herbs every I go to the grocery store 👍🤩 , thanks once again and happy cooking 🧑🍳
This will keep for a week and a half or so. I didn't think it would last a whole 4 weeks but I was surprised. I wouldn't really keep it that long ordinarily. Thanks for watching, Li!
Do you need to seal the bag? Thanks!🌸🌸🌸
Hey Amy & Eric! Loved the video! And the herbs! I never can find good fresh herbs. And I can’t grow them. So I’m in a “pinch™️”. That seems like a really good idea for keeping herbs! So use use that much herbs in a week? I use that much in a year! So I have a question. Have you ever used the Breville Sous Chef in any other things beside what it is regularly used for? Like baking cakes and such? I wonder how it compares to a standalone appliance to a KitchenAid mixer. Well, Happy Cooking & God Bless Y’all!
Can you use ziplock bags and can you close it or just leave it open?
I’m hoping you have a video about washing cilantro & parsley. I’ve been adding white 5% vinegar to the water H2O 10:1 vinegar. But I’m thinking no? As my parsley goes bad.
Hurray ready set 123 Go Go go go go go go girl🤓🤓
For herbs I cut off the stems, put in a ziplock bag and freeze. Works good.
Thank you so much ch!! I’ve trashed my cilantro twice because I didn’t use it fast enough!! Thank you!
I am so glad that this tip helped, Michele! I hope you are having a great week! Thanks for watching!
Been here from the beginning!!❤️❤️❤️. I’ve watched every single episode. I was in a coma for 3 months and as soon as I woke up your vids were where I headed. I could hardly wait to get home and start cooking again.
Parsley maybe but Cilantro is still a pain in the neck as it turns to mush quickly! Better to visit the store often and even there look out for yellow leaves as they would turn black in a hurry!
I was going to ask you the best way to store carrots but hubby said the best way is in a carrot cake, so never mind 😂!
Yeah, I agree with your hubby! LOL! Thanks for watching!
Without water really let me see how this works out I put mine in a little bit of water and then it dies quickly 🙏😢😢😢😢😬
Wrapping them into paper towel is a good idea but, in my opinion they can't breathe in nylon bags and become yellowish.
this definitely did not work
