I wanted Preminger to win because he’s iconic, he’s funny, his plan was almost a success, he could have saved the kingdom from bankruptcy and he’s funny. He was my first Barbie Villain with Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper being my first Barbie movie. Martin Short does a really great job as Preminger💜.

I think I can accept Whisp being low on the list is cause she's not really truly a villain, mainly misunderstood and hurt. Even when she ALMOST took over the world and almost without her doing the work herself. Her jealousy and anger caused her to look for other meanings to make friends or thought having powers is what was needed to be seen or make friends. Which is why how Howleen, someone who understood her plight, was able to reach out and understand her instead of being angry. I also love how Valentine and Whisp became besties in the diaries as well as Whisp's first finder. I can lowkey see Whisp visiting him if she has a finder in the monster world more often and possibly winghoul for him and Spelldon.
35:06 This villain literally gave me a real-life fear of mirrors and my own reflection when I was young. I often wouldn't close the bathroom door on purpose so that if my reflection attacked, I could escape easier or I could yell for one of my family members to help me. My fears diminished over time as I became more rational, but the fear was so deeply ingrained in me that looking in the mirror would trigger depressed thoughts. I am still trying to get over this by-proxy fear of mirrors by forcing myself to stare in my reflection's eyes when I brush my teeth. It has worked to some degree, but I still keep the door open so I can look away and out of the room if the dark thoughts come.

If I'm being honest, Principal Rev from Monster Highs Haunted should totally get an SDCC doll this year. They could do like her blue outfit and a similar outfit but red as a second outfit, with the red cape. Actual moving chains would be cool on her too! 😄 Wouldn't that be awesome though? She has one of the best villain designs in my opinion.
As someone who has rewatched charmschool every month. Delacy's switch was out of left field. She had an issue with poor comoners. And while she could've blamed her mother for her behavior she claims to want the right thing. Imo, doesn't deserve redemption Also! Im a Henna fan. I think she deserved to be on this list. She was Manipulating Gaslighting Was literally willing to commit mads genocide Poisoned the queen Falsely imprisoned the prince And was defeated by her obsession for Mariposa to rule with her
Oh, Henna TOTALLY deserved to be on this list! She manipulated everyone into believing that the prince was responsible for poisoning the queen (even though it was her all along) which was why he was falsely imprisoned. Henna was just pure evil. She wanted to become the queen of the butterfly fairy kingdom and was willing to kill to achieve her goal. But she was eventually defeated by Mariposa. I don’t know if Henna got her own doll or not, but I love the Mariposa movie
I think it would be really cool if Whisp ends up going to Ever After High like Cupid does. We saw that her magic lamp fell into the "deep end" of the MH swimming pool. We also know that that swimming pool can be a portal. I remembered imagining the possibility of an Ever After High character, possibly Meeshell Mermaid, finding the lamp during one of her swims and brought it with her to Ever After High. There Whisp makes her appearance and the Grimm brothers decided to allow her to attend their school and learn how to become the next genie from the Aladdin story. I'd imagined Whisp to be on the Royal side, but it's possible to see her as a Rebel, too, considering her past rebellious acts.

From Barbie: Queen Ariana, Henna, Laverna, Gothel, Wenlock, and Tim Curry's Philippe from the barbie movies. From Bratz: Zell. And from MH: Van Hellscream, Crabgrass, Bartleby Farnum, and Moanatella Ghostier. And while we're talking about villains has anyone noticed that barbie has a lot of villains where one of their evil deeds was poisoning someone? Attempted poisoning in Queen Ariana's case, or how Laverna had not only poisoned her sister but created a virus that takes away any flying creatures ability to fly.

My favorite doll line villain is Pizzazz (and really the whole Misfits band) from Jem and the Holograms. She’s so delightfully evil and egotistical and petty.
It's so wild, how Jem has and will always be a doll line, and that the animated series was solely for Hasbro to promote the doll line. I always forget that technically all those characters are dolls because of that, but since the cartoon launched early I always affiliate it with being a kids show as opposed to a doll line, but you're so right! Now I wish I'd added THE icon Phyllis Gabor to the list!!
Bratz Nicole’s voice actress likely wasn’t added, because it kind of obvious who it is (at least I think so, I could be wrong). It’s Olivia Hack, who voices Cloe. Lots of animations use their voice actors to play many parts; it’s why VAs need to be able to do so many voices as well.

It’s like Troy Baker who plays Joel in the Last Of Us video games has a very distinct southern accent, but in Persona 4 (Golden) his voice sound different, but you can hear like the inflections that the actor has naturally. But I’m not 100% sure it is her, but I sound very similar to how she speaks.

There are some villains I think should have been mentioned: Several Barbie villains Lydia from Barbie and the Diamond Castle - She is actually quite scary physically, but also her ability to track down anyone with her dragon Slyder, her hypnotic powers, the fact that she turns people into statues, and makes Alexa walk off a cliff into acid. The Mouse King and Rothbart are tied: Both have incredibly strong powers. Gothel from Rapunzel - She may even have scarier powers than Rothbart! She abuses Rapunzel and manipulates her into a Stockholm Syndrome-esque relationship, she tries to kill Hobie when she levitates him and almost makes him explode like she did to Raps' art, then she drops him from the sky, she also starts attacking Stefan and Rapunzel in finale, as well as dropping a chandelier and setting the balloom on fire. You can see that Rapunzel herself is actually SCARED of her. Queen Ariana from Island Princess similarly to Dame Devin, killed the royal family (tried to). Wenlock from Magic of Pegasus - He's a pervert. Simple. Philippe from Three Musketeers - He tries to commit a coup. Eris from Mermaid Tale - Hmmm. Le'ts see. She actually commited a coup and is blatant dictator (possibly even a communist/fascist metaphor). She has her manta rays and later the stargazers intimidate people. Her cyclones. Her ability to give the Amabassadors their worst fears in the second movie. YUUUP. Philippe Cheynet and Marlo Buchanan from Pony Tale and Dolphin Magic aren't particularly scary, but they are poachers, which makes it scarier when you think about how realistic they are even though they're so tame. POLLY POCKET: Griselle Grande - This lady is scary in the sense that she will go extremely far to get Polly's locket. Kidnapping? She kidnaps a LOT. Kidnaps Melody In-D. Kidnaps the girls multiple times. She manipulates people a lot with her disguises. Barb Payne from the episode The Con Job: She's a psychopath who is so angry and jealous that her scene waa cut from the final print of the Y-Girls movie, that she kidnaps Carolyn Katani, the actress playing lead character Captain Rocco Sage, and actually plans on killing her. Shani tries to reason with her but she's rejected. JEM: Jetta - I know the Misfits as a whole are kinda nutty, but Jetta is the craziest. She usually came up with the ideas for MURDER when she came along, and had ties to the mob. Rapture - Her manipulation actually gets pretty scary. Most noteworthy being when she manipulates a woman into thinking she was the reincarnation of Harry Houdini, to the point where it gets creepy how blind the woman is to the lie. Lexa Slododac from The Princess and the Singer: Again, attempted murder and coup. AMERICAN GIRL: The Brazilian Poachers from Lea to the Rescue - They actually kidnap Zack and plan on killing him after getting the animals. BRATZ: Zel Okamoto and Kon - These scientists and government agents seem nice at first, but they actually are planning to freeze the world until they get paid the money they want. Zel tries to kill Kon and betrays her own partner, and the two have manipulated Katia's dad and have their spies (who look oddly robotic) hunt down Katia. EQUESTRIA GIRLS: The Dazzlings, originally Principal Cinch TOTALLY SPIES (They have dolls so I'd argue it starts) Helga Von Guggen - This fashion designer is essentially Cruella de Vil, but she uses HUMANS for her coats. Ariel from WOW - She's a radical feminist that tries to kill all men and women she sees as worthless, and hypnotizes women to start wrestling random strangers. Captain Hayes - A verrrrry fanatical stalker. Lisa "Fangirl" Dooley from Solo Spies is somewhat of a tamer version. Tuesday Tate from Model Citizens - Formerly a famous model from Australia, known for her glamour. She lost her leg duing a lion themed shoot gone wrong and had to get a metal leg. Out of anger, she Frankensteins her models by taking parts of their bodies APART and sewing them together. Felicia Mane from Evil Hair Salon - A London wigmaker who steals women's hair. Dr. Bittersweet from Passion Paties - A woman who used to be a Girl Scout in Switzerland, but her obsession with eating the cookies got her in trouble. She then makes her cookies so addictive that people won't be able to stop eating until it KILLS THEM. The Vancouver Coffee Barista from Evil Coffee Shop tries to drown the girls in coffee and actually floods Vancouver. Hans from Freaky Circus Much? is a literal p*dophile. He's the German-born producer and reporter for Beverly Hills Glamor Girls, and he is very suspicious, loves invading teenage girls' space. Filming Alex while she's sleeping and Sam in the shower. Icky. Marco Lumiere - A director who's work being rejected bothered him so much that he forced actors to act in a movie against their will.... the movie had DEATH TRAPS. Lenore Von Schream from Starstruck is a crazy old lady who can't tell fact from fiction, and tries to force herself on the actor playing the main character in her favorite show. Claire "Bozette Slapstick" Mlaine from Clowning Around - She turns people into clowns, if you hate clowns she'll give you a panic attack.
What? No Mandy? I know she mostly plays just a bully but there were times when went full Villain, taking over world in future, summoned undead, spyassassin on Clover, Sam and Alex, 50ft kidnapper and raging monster, framing girls many times, trying to kicked them out of penthouse, the list goes on.
For Hans he just wanted a star. Yes its freaky that he invades their privacy. At the end of the episode he replaces the girls with Mandy. Alex stated that hans needed a star but they already have jobs as international spies.
Im not gonna lie but Nicole literally scared the heck out of me like put an poison on their room and putting an red hair so she could frame someone? Also the Khloe or Chloe (idk how to spell it sorry) and Nicole fight was brutal also almost killed jasmin by pushing her off AND dont forget the way that she was planning to push them to the hill like its just crazy!!
There need to be more actual dolls for villains. Like, the Tweevils were my most vivid memory of my childhood Bratz phase and I was truly shocked it took them decades to get dolls. Seems like it would limit play opportunities, just imagine if they made He-Man figures without Skeletor or something.

I feel like Delancy was right to be redeemed at the end. She was just following what her mom did because she was trying to impress her and be on her mother's good side. She switches when she starts to realize that her mom might not be in the right, but isn't able to say what she thinks because she's under her mother's thumb until she's arrested at the very end, effectively freeing Delancy from that situation.
Is it me, or does the Evil Queen from Ever After High reminds me of Myotismon from Digimon? Both tried to manipulate two different good characters into becoming evil via conditioning (Raven Queen and Gatomon).
Burdene Maxwell was honestly terrifying as a kid, I never liked her. Ever After High was always an awesome series, same with the monster high series. the movies not so much.
To be honest the Evil Queen from ever after High is sneaky manipulative convincing character of the franchise she has a very complicated relationship with daughter Raven
I have to agree with Wisp herself: the colour-scheme was all wrong by the end of 13 Wishes. It would have been better if the animators and character designers gave her *blue* skin, blue clothes and gold and silver accents with blue and silver hair, a nod to Disney's Genie from Aladdin.

Principal Cinch kinda makes one of the best doll movie villains ever. I mean, she forced Twilight to turn into Midnight Sparkle.

Eris from Mermaid Tale - Hmmm. Le'ts see. She actually commited a coup and is blatant dictator (possibly even a communist/fascist metaphor). She has her manta rays and later the stargazers intimidate people. Her cyclones. Her ability to give the Amabassadors their worst fears in the second movie. YUUUP.
Philippe Cheynet and Marlo Buchanan from Pony Tale and Dolphin Magic aren't particularly scary, but they are poachers, which makes it scarier when you think about how realistic they are even though they're so tame.
POLLY POCKET:
Griselle Grande - This lady is scary in the sense that she will go extremely far to get Polly's locket. Kidnapping? She kidnaps a LOT. Kidnaps Melody In-D. Kidnaps the girls multiple times. She manipulates people a lot with her disguises.
Barb Payne from the episode The Con Job: She's a psychopath who is so angry and jealous that her scene waa cut from the final print of the Y-Girls movie, that she kidnaps Carolyn Katani, the actress playing lead character Captain Rocco Sage, and actually plans on killing her. Shani tries to reason with her but she's rejected.
JEM:
Jetta - I know the Misfits as a whole are kinda nutty, but Jetta is the craziest. She usually came up with the ideas for MURDER when she came along, and had ties to the mob.
Rapture - Her manipulation actually gets pretty scary. Most noteworthy being when she manipulates a woman into thinking she was the reincarnation of Harry Houdini, to the point where it gets creepy how blind the woman is to the lie.
Lexa Slododac from The Princess and the Singer: Again, attempted murder and coup.
AMERICAN GIRL:
The Brazilian Poachers from Lea to the Rescue - They actually kidnap Zack and plan on killing him after getting the animals.
BRATZ:
Zel Okamoto and Kon - These scientists and government agents seem nice at first, but they actually are planning to freeze the world until they get paid the money they want. Zel tries to kill Kon and betrays her own partner, and the two have manipulated Katia's dad and have their spies (who look oddly robotic) hunt down Katia.

Captain Hayes - A verrrrry fanatical stalker. Lisa "Fangirl" Dooley from Solo Spies is somewhat of a tamer version.
Tuesday Tate from Model Citizens - Formerly a famous model from Australia, known for her glamour. She lost her leg duing a lion themed shoot gone wrong and had to get a metal leg. Out of anger, she Frankensteins her models by taking parts of their bodies APART and sewing them together.
Felicia Mane from Evil Hair Salon - A London wigmaker who steals women's hair.
Dr. Bittersweet from Passion Paties - A woman who used to be a Girl Scout in Switzerland, but her obsession with eating the cookies got her in trouble. She then makes her cookies so addictive that people won't be able to stop eating until it KILLS THEM.
The Vancouver Coffee Barista from Evil Coffee Shop tries to drown the girls in coffee and actually floods Vancouver.
Hans from Freaky Circus Much? is a literal p*dophile. He's the German-born producer and reporter for Beverly Hills Glamor Girls, and he is very suspicious, loves invading teenage girls' space. Filming Alex while she's sleeping and Sam in the shower. Icky.
Marco Lumiere - A director who's work being rejected bothered him so much that he forced actors to act in a movie against their will.... the movie had DEATH TRAPS.
Lenore Von Schream from Starstruck is a crazy old lady who can't tell fact from fiction, and tries to force herself on the actor playing the main character in her favorite show.
Claire "Bozette Slapstick" Mlaine from Clowning Around - She turns people into clowns, if you hate clowns she'll give you a panic attack.
What? No Mandy? I know she mostly plays just a bully but there were times when went full Villain, taking over world in future, summoned undead, spyassassin on Clover, Sam and Alex, 50ft kidnapper and raging monster, framing girls many times, trying to kicked them out of penthouse, the list goes on.
For Hans he just wanted a star. Yes its freaky that he invades their privacy. At the end of the episode he replaces the girls with Mandy. Alex stated that hans needed a star but they already have jobs as international spies.
Im not gonna lie but Nicole literally scared the heck out of me like put an poison on their room and putting an red hair so she could frame someone? Also the Khloe or Chloe (idk how to spell it sorry) and Nicole fight was brutal also almost killed jasmin by pushing her off AND dont forget the way that she was planning to push them to the hill like its just crazy!!

There need to be more actual dolls for villains. Like, the Tweevils were my most vivid memory of my childhood Bratz phase and I was truly shocked it took them decades to get dolls. Seems like it would limit play opportunities, just imagine if they made He-Man figures without Skeletor or something.

I feel like Delancy was right to be redeemed at the end. She was just following what her mom did because she was trying to impress her and be on her mother's good side. She switches when she starts to realize that her mom might not be in the right, but isn't able to say what she thinks because she's under her mother's thumb until she's arrested at the very end, effectively freeing Delancy from that situation.

I have to agree with Wisp herself: the colour-scheme was all wrong by the end of 13 Wishes. It would have been better if the animators and character designers gave her *blue* skin, blue clothes and gold and silver accents with blue and silver hair, a nod to Disney's Genie from Aladdin.
