Tech house double drops sometimes works so nicely however sometimes is a calamity. Definitely depends on how busy each track is especially in the mids.

I started learning DJaying during this quarantine and at a point I've been doing this *double drop* thing and I didn't knew we call it the Double Drop....It was more like normal Mixing for me..😅 Btw I appreciate your efforts in making these videos ,dude....been learning a lot about DJaying from you. Double drops seem great for house, tech house, and disco I definitely am going to start trying this. I think it's more about knowing the songs that you are playing and knowing the phrasing can really help doing this well thru eq. I cant imagine doing this if I were doing a bass house, trap, or dubstep set. 😂
Disco? I am sure you can't do this with disco. It would not make sense, given the fact that disco doesn't even have a "real" drop. I think you don't quite know what disco is.

when i saw the title double drop i was more thinking of like how sometimes in edm music u get one build up, but it doestn drop then u go into another build up and then it drops. still a cool video i liked it
I've done double drops for years. But I've only heard it has it's own term in the last couple of years because people go hype in drum and bass event videos on youtube about them. :D Not from the english speaking world, mind you so many terms are going to be new to me. :D
Real disco music has either both intro and outro or just one of each. Or none of that, in order to mix properly. Often tracks are faded out in the end which makes mixing not really nice. Look for the 12" versions of disco records. Try to mix songs with no outro with the ones that have an intro. Be careful when mixing tracks that both have vocals.
The change of scenery is nice but, the sun on the cdj’s screens is brutal. Makes it hard to follow. On that note, your channel is 🥇 keep up the fantastic work🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I spin Drum n Bass, and my entire set is always nothing but double and triple drops. I find it boring to spin any other way. Usually, I'll let the tracks play out together until the break. And I'll usually mix in my next track into the two tracks that are playing out together, but that only works if you have at least three channels/decks.

I'm well aware that tech and drum & bass are pretty well suited to double drops, however I LOVE to play EDM, more specifically progressive & big room - a video on whether that's possible would be mint! I suppose there's usually so much going on in the big festival/club drops that you'd just have to be a bit more picky with the tunes you use!
@@ClubReadyDJSchool It looks like you have a real camera with a removable lens. The lens probably has threads to screw a filter onto it. The front of the lens will have the filter size written on the edge - probably 52 mm, 55 mm, 62 mm or 67 mm. You can get a polarizer for $20 or $30. A Tiffen 52mm Circular Polarizing Filter is about $17. The polarizer removes glare from sunlight bouncing off the water or bouncing off other surfaces. For some reason they say it doesn't work with glare on metal surfaces, but it'll take all the glare off the CDJs. If you were shooting indoors you'd want to worry about the "filter factor" which is how much the filter reduces overall light. You can get a more expensive filter with a lower filter factor. That's mostly irrelevant for polarizers, though, because you're probably outside and have plenty light. But if you care, Hoya HRT Circular Polarizers have a lower filter factor for about $10 more. If you have several lenses you might want to get filters for the biggest lens then get step-up adapters for the smaller lenses. But the adapter would probably cost as much as the polarizer, so you probably shouldn't worry about it. Filters are kinda fun because you can stack them on top of each other. An ND filter makes things darker so you can open the aperture way up and make things look more cinematic. And there are things like portrait filters that can take out some wavelengths that make skin look worse. Obviously you can fix any color issue in software, but messing with skintones is a pain so there are filters which can make life easier in certain situations. I personally love double drops. You could have looped the vocal "Sometimes" from track 1 and do some nasty stuff while fully playing track 2.

In techno double drops are pretty common, hardstyle/hardcore really not. Depends on the music. (Tech) House might be possible
