I think the guy with the Disney stuff just needed to talk to someone lol.
he wouldn't stop talking🤦♂🤦♂
Lol I was about to leave similar comment but I clicked to comments and here was your thought. Hilarious. I got tired of listening to him
🤣😂😆
Well if your wife tells you to get rid of all the things you love, I'm sure just getting away from her is a blessing!
@@hippydippy great point lol
Those signed Disney pieces from the artists are actually worth a decent amount of money. I had one from the 1980”s that I sold for 400$. It was signed by the artist who drew goofy. I bet if I held onto it it would have been worth thousands today. It was a whole sketch of how he concepted a cartoon show so it had like 10 pictures in one of all the different steps to get the animation working and a scene unfolding. It was just a pencil sketch. Maybe that’s why it was so valuable.
Dude, I am seeing them sell for THOUSANDS of dollars......I am pretty sure he knew what he was ddoing here and pulled a Pawn Stars on him.
You can google "disney pinochio animation cells" Some are 10 grand, most are 2 grand.....
NIB vintage games and console can be graded and worth alot more. i graded a NIB game cube controller it went for 3x more
Where has Vickie been?
It's always makes me shake my head whenever guys say they have to get rid of things they like and enjoy just because the wife doesn't want them. If she can't respect the things you enjoy, then show her the door.
Maybe if she works and he gets to stay at home, but most likely he makes the money and she makes the rules.
What would be very expensive though
Yep. That's no way to have a happy marriage. My wife would "never" do that to me & visa versa.
Ah yes i suppose you do every single thing your wife wants (if you have one) even if you don't like it? It's called comprimising.... Your wife isnt going to allow you to do everything you want, and vice versa. Ever been in a relationship before?
Except for the fact that women have become like men nowadays ..
That guy with the framed stuff is your classic stream of consciousness talker... nothing comes into his head that he doesn't say outloud...
Yes, the Disney pictures guy just doesn't know when to stop talking
I kind of liked him 😂. He’s unique, for sure. I’m sure I’d be annoyed with him hearing him daily but for this interaction, I enjoyed it 😂
@@chexcollects Doesn't seem like a bad guy, but he's definitely that neighbor that when you need to do something outside and you seem him out in his yard, you wait until he's gone.
He seems like a nice person. Or at least he seems like a person that doesn’t talk bad about other people in an online comment section.. unlike other people without anything better to do
when selling your stuff, never say "i HAVE TO get rid if this"
when you walk in the door you are already at a disadvantage.
Always tell the truth.... Peter will know either way.... God Bless you 🙏
@@michael-4k4000 youre not lying by keeping that info to yourself. And youre potentially screwing yourself over by disclosing that cause it gives the buyer leverage to lowball
When Pete crosses his arms the price is the price!
That’s funny!!😂 now that I think back, that seems to be true!! 😊

Could you imagine living with the guy with the posters? Id buy ear plugs every visit
The dude with the pictures was his own worst enemy. He was making Peter’s case for him.
1:27 the siren is for if you’re camping, where there are bears or mountain lions, and if they get too close to your tent, you can turn on the siren, and it will scare them away.
take a shot whenever you hear the phrase "Eagle Scout."
lol, make sure to play that siren whenever a suspected scammer is trying to scam ya! 🤣
That dude's wife said sell your junk, and it's worthless lol.
Peter! I only started watching a few weeks ago but have probably seen 100 videos of yours already. One thing I wish you did more of was show some of the things you sell. Anyways, keep up the videos, I really enjoy them! Be safe!
Hi, Pete. I love the channel! Only recently discovered it. I saw you wearing a Copper Harbor shirt and was like hell yeah! That's my favorite getaway location. I live near Detroit and would love to come see the shop sometime! Much love from Michigan!
THOSE seri-cels (and they are NOT true production cels BY the WAY) are worth some money MAINLY because of the signatures... however, if they are unsigned, framed, they are worth about $60-75 each. Having been signed by the animators (and they do look real....as I have had these in the past - as I deal in animation art), they are worth more like $150 to $250 depending on who and how many sigs are on there.
My ex has worked at Disneyland for 43 years, I've seen those seri-cels sold in the Disney stores at Disneyland, at the mall, and some discounted ones at "Company D" which is the outlet store that's for Disney employees only where we got good deals on discontinued merch. They aren't rare, and people probably paid too much for them to begin with. You're right, if the signatures are real that's the added value.
Most of the time when people claim that they are getting rid of something because their spouse "won't let them keep it" is just to save face because the truth is they need the money.
Yeah, he robbed that guy for sure!!
Peter, you guys are more fun to watch than Pawn Stars !! Great content !
The guy at the end just needs a friend, I wouldn't say he was a weird negotiator though if that's who you were referring too in the title
09:45 the envelope over the long time probably stuck together by itself. I’ve seen this happen. All it takes is a little time and heat above room temp.
I could see Pete chasing shoplifters with that siren light

Jezzzzzz, you have alot of patience because that customer loves to hear himself talk
The Tiffany piece is a score!!!
Yup that’s a $500 score for sure.
@@eddymahon1503 I looked them up online it seems like they go for even more. Some were over 900

@@nacypollock7546 wow. Nice
From the beginning since I’ve been following this owners professional and respectful nature in dealing with all walks of life of people coming into this shop I can honestly say he handles every situation well. I’m very in tune and captivated every time I watch a new video! Keep ‘em coming and we’ll done Sir! To all who work for you and may your business prosper more and more for many of years to come.
Some (most) of these people are weird! They are clearly mentally ill and/or drug addicts. Every company I know hires and pays good wages, yet here these people are begging for $5 for their junk.
The 2nd. guy with the pictures said, “ my wife won’t let me hang them up” should sell the pictures and take the money and go buy a pair of balls OR a divorce. Unbelievable. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
That's a very common claim of those who don't want to admit they just need the money so they invent stories no one asked for. I think Pete saw through him since he sees guys like this almost daily. That dude's sketchy as hell, probably not even married and likely got that stuff at yard sales or even out of a dumpster after the estate sale was over and the house had to be cleared ASAP.
I found two boxes filled with antique books in a dumpster back in the early 90s. I still have the 2 volume set of atlases printed in 1778 that list every known city in the world at the time, but I sold two very ornate Victorian books that had fine lithograph prints, and the beautiful 1840s German Bible for about $300. I literally found them in the trash.
I lucked out over 20 years ago when I found some beautifully framed and triple matted posters of well-known Patrick Nagel prints at a thrift store. Nagel was very famous in the 1980s, he's the artist who did the album cover of Duran Duran's "Rio" album (which is one of the seven signed serigraph prints I bought for $20 each that day).
Nagel's art screams "1980s!" and was not at all popular in the early 2000s when I bought these. They were donated to a Palm Springs thrift store after the estate auction was over. They still had the auction info tags, so I was able to find that the original owner was a wealthy movie executive who died and his mansion and contents were sold. He was an art collector, but compared to his finer original works of art, these Nagel prints weren't worth much. However, these aren't massed produced. They are limited edition serigraphs (silkscreen) in hand-signed and numbered runs of 250. Nagel died in 1983, so he's not making more. I bought them because I love his art and figured I'll just enjoy them until they increase in value.
My husband was mad at me for wasting $140 on these beautifully framed prints, so I sold my two least favorites for $200 each just to shut him up. I wish I hadn't, because an identical one (but unframed with no matting) recently sold for $1800 on eBay. I still have the other five and now they are starting to go up in value as the 1980 kids are growing up and having fond memories of that era. I keep hoping that Nagel's work will show up on "Stranger Things" so the value will go up again. These originally sold for $2000 and up from LA's Malke Sage Gallery where they were sold new during Patrick Nagel's lifetime. Right now, they are selling on eBay for @ $500-$3500.
The guy with photos shot himself in the foot.. stop talking down your stuff.
I thought the same thing, he practically gave them Disney ones away. Pete must have had a pretty good idea he would at least double his money on them!
Who spends $250 on each picture, loves them so much, afraid they will end up in a garage sale but considers $25 a piece. Seems like he just needed money for a case of PBR.
You were nice to the old man, respect to u
Apparently the only thing that guy ever did in his entire life was become an Eagle Scout- wonder if he could have fit one more plug in
It's a big deal...
@@bradcrowe668 I agree, it's a big accomplishment for young person. Most kids don't stick it with it that long and it's considered kind of dorky to be the BSA at age 16 or 17. Gotta give them credit for hanging in there to accomplish a goal.
It's a very prestigious thing for a young man to do, but to hang your hat on that in your 40's get a hobby....
Man how I wished I lived closer to this shop. We would do business every week
Lol. All these people complaining about the "Disney guy"!

15:49 "When he offed himself" Wow, guy. Could you be a little more disrespectful with how you say he took his own life.
the customers who give long personal stories and ramblings on their stuff are annoying lol.
As a coin collector it was funny to hear the Disney guy come close to getting the grading company names correct. NPC PGS instead of NGC and PCGS lol.
If you're very careful about it, you can soak that rubber pump handle in boiling water for about 10 minutes and it will soften back up.
Could steaming it get desired results ?

I sometime feel that I'm like that guy with the Disney stuff really want to talk to someone and it was ironic that he talks about death.. Yes, I know we will die someday. I felt the guy was just wanting to talk.. It interesting to see who comes to the door and just love to talk to Pete. I think at the end of the day you feel proud that you did it.
That guy with the Disney stuff pictures never shut up talkin talkin twist out
Hi Peter that guy with the Pictures didn't have a clue n he was annoying
I usually like your videos but your offers were cheap . I’ve been in the Collectibles business for many years the Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher sign pic framed is worth $150 to $200 minimum . Very easy to authenticate their signatures and the sign Disney sells specially by the original artist are worth good money.
Stop crying. He doesn't run a charity
@@ccgb92think he’s more talking about the things he didn’t take in.
I think even without a being 100% sure it was real, a Star Wars fan would have easily paid $50-100 bucks to add something like that to their collection. I also didn't understand his comments on the Disney pictures, about how the frames were ugly and people would have to take it out to be reframed. They may have been a little dated in his opinion, but so what? It's a 30 year old picture and the frames seemed to be in decent condition- I don't think anyone would feel the need to have it reframed.
Did you sell that flying V guitar yet? What brand and how much?
I'm crying during the intro 😂😂😂
Pete, when you were showing the red cooler, Check out Honey in the background. 😂 Honey looks cute at the end of the vlog too. I can’t believe that Ruby didn’t get mad about the police siren and bunny lights.
I'm still laughing at Pete saying, "This is going to be the stupidest thing I ever heard..." over that siren contraption.
I'm surprised that didn't get some annoyed squawks out of Ruby, as my parrot sure didn't like it.
Dude at end was high as a kite
I agree with other comments ☺️
I love when they say how much it's worth on ebay. Yet drive all the way to Pete when the post office is right near their house I'm sure and could of shipped it out on eBay 😂😂
But I love people and no disrespect for trying to get more money 💰🤑 out of Pete. Life is a game and where all in it for a good time and some laughs 🤣 because we are ALL filled with imperfections
The fees on eBay now almost make it a waste of time unless you are selling big money items or enough volume to have an eBay store
those disney cels are worth good $.
Pete needs a shirt with his slogan on it lol!! You know what I mean!
Those are some beautiful cells.
The Disney dude is talking “ past the sale”. He needs to calm down
The guy keeps saying he bought two or three of them for his other family members that doesn't make them rare. I hope you're picking up on that?. And his hand gestures in his hands in his pockets in I don't really know what's going on I'm just lost in this whole process and I got these as a gift or will down to me and I don't know what's going on. That kind of story really puts a question on my mind brother?
He seemed to get really nervous when he was suggesting that Pete would probably NOT want to hang them on the wall of the shop because it might take a long time to sell them? Anyone else notice that? That was weird, and Pete told him that's exactly what he does with these kind of items, and it's how he's found buyers in the past. I got the impression this nervous dude didn't want the locals to see them, and he was hoping Pete would sell them on eBay. Why would he care HOW they would be sold and displayed unless perhaps his story about how he acquired them wasn't true?
The only thing he could have said to appear even more sketchy would be if he talked about being a "christian". In the past, I've bought two cars from sellers on Craigslist who told me at least a dozen times that they were christians who never lie (nobody asked, or cared), only to find their stories were complete BS and the cars were junk. I consider that a big red flag now. A truly good honest person doesn't feel the need to tell you they are, because they live and act in such a way that shows they are trustworthy. I've known former drug addicts who are honest, kind, and help the less fortunate with no expectation of reward, and then there's the TV preachers who live in mansions, own jets, and make money off of poor people who fall for their lies, but refuse to help at all during disasters.
That bunny light thing could be called box of annoyance.
Is that a dime bag guitar I see 👀
I think that Tiffany piece is great. I’ve never seen it before.
