STAY FRESH!!
1899 is a love bird..man I love it it works hard in the deep cold weather since we live up north
1899 Hemingway . Start with truth, the rest writes itself.
1740 Marquis de Sade . Of course it's leather .
1828 Jules Verne .Hesperides Daughters of Evening .Ladon, a serpent like dragon guarded those Golden Apples.Sound familiar
1725 Casanova. Nuff said. _Very very impressive first impressions J_ .
Thank you man!
Hi, Justin. No idea how much you spent on the four samples, but Lucky Scent and Sephora both sell a 10-sample discovery set from Histoires de Parfums for I think $18 - which is a total steal. You basically get to sample al the best sellers (the ones based on the individual years), but you don't get to try Veni, Vidi, or Vici.
I really like this house a lot. They are very unisex and of high quality. I do find the entire ouvre confusing if you approach the whole at once. Maybe because of nomenclature . They play better on skin, for sure.
1740 is DA BOMB! Loved this Justin.
Thanks Pep! Need to smell more of these...
Ain't that the truth. All these are good (well I love three of them but not a big fan of the powdery nature of 1725) but 1740 is the only masterpiece among the four.
1725 is flawless. My new signature scent
Idk is it just me ? but does 1725 really smell like powder? Baby powder? The review on the video didn’t mention about it being powdery but for me its really strong powdery which i dont like? Like why buy a expensive bottle that smell identical to a baby powder?
@@kito2554it starts off very powdery for sure
Histoires are my all time favourite house, everything ive smells is a solid 9-10 poins out off 10
Hey Justin
I’ll be honest sadly you didn’t tried the two that in my opinion are the best by far.
Amber 114
And
Fidélis
And to be honest I’ll stop seeking frag now with those two I’m done lol
(I followed you on the John varvatos vintage follow me on theses two lol)
Fahd Fprime which garners the most compliments
I love Fidelis 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I've been dying to try this brand. I think I might have to do it after this video. This discovery series is my fave types of videos on your channel! Awesome job :)
Thank you so much for watching! I highly recommend checking this house out. There are some many other I have yet to smell from the house.
Was curious what other reviewers think about this brand cause I plan to do "best of HdP" and the way you describe 1828 I think it would suit Jules Vern perfectly, I used to read his novels at school (back in Ukraine) but I think it's rather a "boys" author;)
He writes about adventures and one of his famous stories was about travelling in the sea…
you need to check 1969 because its's spicy-gourmand, major compliment getter and is simply beautiful!
Hi Tommelise! Thanks for stopping by, and for sharing some insight on Jules Vern. I will check out 1969!
I have a bottle of all 4 reviewed. 1740 and 1828 or both masterpieces IMO!
Underrated house!
1899 moderate on skin but on clothes omg! It's 14th hour stuck on opening and middle notes. Just amazing smell!
1725 Casanova is like spicy vanilla ice cream! Pretty interesting vibe
Idk is it just me ? but does 1725 really smell like powder? Baby powder? The review on the video didn’t mention about it being powdery but for me its really strong powdery which i dont like? Like why buy a expensive bottle that smell identical to a baby powder?
Just watched this after your Instagram flashback post. What a review! Love the presentation of the Histoire De Parfum bottled - they’re so classy looking! 1725 sounds well up my street - need to get my nose on it!
Thanks for going back in time with me! 1725 is really beautiful!
Love this first impressions videos! Keep it up brother!
Thank you bro!
Did you end up wearing 1740 in cold weather? I have bottles of 1740 and 1899. Both excellent!
I can't remember if I did, this was a long time ago...😅
I need to revisit 1740!
1725 is my best .. smell like rich .. over nice .. then i has 1740 for winter and ambrarem its the best amber ever made as perfume .. 1899 i loved it too 😍
Right on!
Idk is it just me ? but does 1725 really smell like powder? Baby powder? The review on the video didn’t mention about it being powdery but for me its really strong powdery which i dont like? Like why buy a expensive bottle that smell identical to a baby powder?
Late to the party, but just got the HdP discovery set 10 bottles. Agree with your review and you added a few observations which helped. Subscribed and enjoy your mojo, big love from the UK!
Thank you!!
[One Clap] good stuff Justin. Would be awesome if you could test the performance of your favourite and get back to us. Appreciate the comparisons to other scents. Blind buyers awwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!
I just might do that! Thanks brother.
Enjoyed watching this episode brother. Always hear great things about this house but have yet to try them out. Thanks for sharing your initial take. Many blessings!👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽
Thanks, Yashua! Really appreciate you stopping by. I highly recommend sampling this house!
Thank you for this Justin, I was on the fence, but I'm ordering it today
I hope you enjoy them!
The best part of 1725 is the base. Give it time to settle in on skin. It's excellent.

1740 is amazing. Noir patchouli is really nice too. I've yet to try any others so far. Loving this house.
It's so good!
An author of early turn of the century sci-fi novels. 20 thousand leagues under the sea. Journey to the center of the earth.. etc.
Ambre 114 is breathtaking
Arjun Bajpai i have it and sad that Justin didn’t got it in the kit
Man it’s my best frag so far
You should try Fidelis .... impressive
It's crazy how overlooked this line is.
Right?
Great review love Histoires De Parfums house. Have you tried ambre 114? Also have you tried 18.21 man made Sweet Tobacco Spirits? Would love for you to do a review. The company is really marketing it right now.
Haven't tried ambre 114, need to! Also have yet to smell that 18.21...I'll see if I can get my hands on it.
Love yours videos man! I have a question: Is it similar to Rehab by Initio? If so, which do you recommend the most?
Thanks Charlie! Is what similar to Rehab?
1899 😅
1740 what parfum smell really really good
How’s the longevity projection
Love these videos. Also still hoping you"ll do Zoologist one day haha
Thanks Michael! I plan on it. :)
Peace symbol is when you do the same things with your fingers but turn the palm of your hand forward. The way you're doing it is rudely saying GET IT RIGHT UP YOU or F* YOU. Only trying to be helpful. Your vids are always delightfully helpful. x
I've never heard that in my life. Millions of people do the peace sign like this. Its all about the intention and context. If you can't tell that I mean it sincerely, that means I'm doing something wrong. But I think you can.
It never crossed my mind that you were trying to do it in a nasty way. I was only trying to be helpful.
Thanks for the info.
Great video!!! Going to check out the house. Keep up the good work👌
Thanks bro! Check 'em out!
I’m new! This is nice. Good job. Xxx
Thank you for stopping by, Rachel!
I have 1740/1828/Ambre 114
I really like 1725 man, great scent. btw know any facebook groups where people sell decants, also people from europe otherwise hipping is insanely excpensive? been looking online at decant sites but their price per ml is pretty expensive while most private decanters buy huge bottles and then have decants that are pretty cheap per ml.
beau lafort I'm a member of Fragrance Swap on FB. Good people and awesome deals on decants.

1725 is almost identical to MDCI’s Invasion Barbara. One of the best barber shop’s out there, wear it often. A fantastic blend and it has decent longevity as a bonus. Enjoyed your takes as usual. 👍🏻
Still wanna smelled IB! Thanks for wathcing bro.

Nice vid!
I get a lot of attention from Ambre 114
Need to try it...
The best I’ve been really surprised with Fidelis as well
Great house
1899 was ok in my book, my girl enjoyed it more so I passed it over to her .
20000 leagues under the sea
Need to try that and more!
