- This is a very popular release from one of my favourite houses, and a lot of people think it is a better quality alternative to Spicebomb. Have you tried it? What do you think?

Great review! I have never gotten the comparison to Spicebomb although clearly my nose must be missing something as many seem to bring the similarities up. 1899 for me is a simple, lovely, totally safe office/'just need to smell good' perfume. I could easily turn it into a daily driver during the summer months. The slight floral accord separates it from the hundreds, literally, of 'clean, fresh' scents available. Now I don't get all that excited by 1899, but really enjoy its wearability and ease. This and 1740 I would buy in a 200ml if they offered it.
I'm one of those people who gets the "what Spice Bomb was supposed to be" from it; SB has a very synthetic opening with a screachy dry down to my nose. This has a more refined opening (but very similar) with a much more pleasant warmer dry down. I have the same view on it you do: it's nice, I would buy it again, but I rarely reach for it. Soft projection, does not yell like SB, a great alternative for people who like the general scent of SB but want something more mature.
This is the only HdP that I own and I really like it!

Nice take...I'm of the same opinion; very nice frag,just not one that I reach for often, and I've had the same 15ml travel presentaion for 3yrs now, as you said, I do enjoy it when I wear it.
Great video!! I've been interested in this house.. I've only smelled a sample of one of the 1800s maybe 1826? It was just ok to me. Been wanting to delve more into this house.

If you would like to compare this perfum to any other scents I would say that opening is very similar to Bvlgari Man in Black and the dry down is similar to Pegasus by Parfums de Marly which smells alike Reflaction Man but is more powdery. I also think that 1725 Casanova is more interesting than 1899.
I knew I wasnt the only one picking up aspects of Reflection Man.
1899 90% close to Spicebomb. Main difference for me is juniper note, but they really close. I enjoy 1899 more (better performance, better scent). About Reflection man - not much similarity for me. Maybe same occasions scent, but not more.
1725 is more like Reflection man
Just got this one today and yes it’s similar to spice bomb but it’s even more similar to Dior Spice Blend. In my opinion it’s performance and projection is much better than Spice Blend and of course much better value for money

Not tried Rehab, but i would want it to be significantly better at the price.
How long would you say the travel size lasts you, thinking of trying their different scents and just wondering if i could use like around 3 bottles for a couple weeks or maybe 2 or 3 months?
It really depends on how many other perfumes you use. 10ml decants i have had have gotten me around 20-30 wears
Been thinking of exploring this house not tried anything how would you rate them as a house ?
They have a lot of very good perfumes, a few of them are really great. Good pricing for quality and 3 different sizes

These are all the ones that i have tried and can recommend to start with.
They have so many more i still haven't tested properly.
