PLEASE, you, and EVERYONE, if you haven't already, embrace the One True Only God YHWH Jehovah, Only One Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son and Lord and Savior of our souls and the Only One Holy Spirit. God is good. God is love. Jesus is Lord. Jesus IS coming. Your soul depends on it!
I have seen God act in my life. He saved my soul, changed my heart, changed my mind, helped people through me, took care of people in my life, people I hurt before I found God. God is the only reason I was able to reconcile with my dad before he died.
God worked through Jesus Christ to save our souls. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved. Be baptized in The Holy Spirit, and if He wills, water as well. Repent of your sins, accept God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into your heart, that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, that all who believe on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the Father Jehovah God but through Him.
Not long after I got saved I prayed to God for help understanding the Holy Bible, and that same day someone knocked on my door asking me if I wanted to understand the Bible.
The Holy Bible says, "love thy enemy", "turn the other cheek", "If your enemy is hungry, feed him", "if he is thirsty, give him a drink", "pray for those who persecute you", "do not repay evil for evil".
LORD willing, all humans may commit sin of almost every kind (gay, straight), and that's wrong, and all humans sin, as God tells us through the The Holy Bible, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." The Holy Bible also says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

I hate the use of the term "cameo" in discussions around this movie. Cameos are George Lucas inserting himself in the background in Revenge of the Sith or Brad Pit appearing for a split second in Deadpool 2. Blade is a character in the film. He has dialogue and multiple scenes but people are calling it a cameo. Cross-over is a more apt term.

This, fr. I'd even call Johnny a cameo over the others, Johnny's there, says the thing, gets dead, and that's it (save for the post credit), but Blade, Elektra, and Gambit were full on there, they were pivotal to saving the day for DP and Logan, and it's even implied they're saved from the void by the TVA, they have multiple lines of dialogue, they aren't cameos, they're characters. They're all Marvel though, so it's not exactly a crossover.

Deadpool wanting to join the Avengers is a part of the overarching theme of the movie; after Logan, the Fox Universe started to die (i.e. the franchise saw diminishing returns after Wolverine left) and so everyone wants to jump ship to the MCU. He wants to join the MCU because that's the only way for a Marvel character to matter.
But then his arc ends with him and all the other Fox characters (specifically the ones NO ONE cares about outside of X-23) living happily in the Fox Universe. That he went to the void and didn't meet a single actual MCU character is the entire joke. It's not a movie about Deadpool joining the MCU, it's a movie about Deadpool learning to appreciate the Fox Universe. Everyone in my theater laughed when Good Riddance started up during the credits, but a minute in the entire place was dead silent. It's one big swan song for this entire studio.

Perfectly well said and spot on. It's appreciating what came before (and in line) with the MCU. The Fox montage at the end solidified that. Closure in a way.
Taking this all into the new Avengers films and then beyond, likely all in one universe where we can see brand new actors in these roles

And not just celebrating the universe as it was, flaws and all, but even referencing projects that never came to be, specifically with the use of Channing Tatum's Gambit, a planned version of the character that was left in limbo after the merger.
Paradox's Time Ripper plan and Deadpool's reality slowly dissolving at the point where Old Man Logan dies (when the Fox X-Men franchise lost its most popular character and couldn't recover with its other projects) represents how Disney's acquisition of the franchise put it in limbo and nearly destroyed it completely until this film (and to a lesser extent Doctor Strange 2 and The Marvels) brought this franchise back from limbo, "regenerated" it.

    • @penisnt
      @penisnt 3 месяца назад

I think they should just say the “Sacred Timeline” doesn’t need an anchor being. Maybe creating an anchor being of such importance to a universe in a universe that has none automatically spawns a new timeline centred around them. It makes sense in my head that Sylvie for example might be the anchor being of her universe, since it only exists because of her anyway

    • @wet0wl
      @wet0wl 3 месяца назад +9

Despite being an allegory I still think it can work in canon.
An anchor being is something that keeps a universe held in place and alive. So logically, the sacred timeline wouldn’t need one no? The other branches are the ones that are unstable and less secure so they rely on a singular being to derive from.
I think that solves some issues.

The gripe about not using the end of DP2 to set up the plot for this one makes sense. But you not liking them disregarding all of his flagrant time travel holds up for me because the Avengers did it in Endgame as well to save their universe. So the TVA could easily just say his mending wasn't a big deal to its timeline.
And then plucking him at all is because the plot is a metatextual commentary on what's going on rn at Marvel Studios. They see most of FOX Marvel as disposable without Wolverine but think DP has potential to still be a great asset to them. Paradox and the TVA are literally Feige and Marvel Studios. That's why everyone in the void are just characters that have previously been about the FOX franchises only. Gambit even further backs this up as he says he thinks he was born in the void because his movie never got made

Granted, I don’t even remember watching any of the FF movies so there are no sacred cows for me here, but I think the way Johnny was used in this movie really let Chris Evans play something very different to his star making role in the MCU. Almost everything he said, particularly his post credits scene rant, had me giggling like an idiot, and I think him being jobbed nonchalantly avoided the risk of Evans overshadowing the movie and having people thinking of Cap, which is the same issue I think they’re going to run into with Doom.

People are taking Deadpool and Wolverine's story way too literally.
The entire plot is a meta commentary on Disney acquiring the Fox Marvel characters and it's handling of it. Most of the movies weren't well liked but the most popular was Logan, but Jackman announced he was done playing the role and died onscreen, thus anyone caring about the other xmen characters became very minimal, which resulted in that cinematic universe dying from lack of interest. Deadpool being the only other character from that universe with any popularity is the only one wanting to be used in the MCU since it's what Renyolds and Deadpool fans have wanted to see and Disney sees use for him in future films.
Paradox and the TVA are Disney in this metaphor (on two sides of the coin) telling Deadpool that his universe is dying but they want to use him in theirs, but just him because the rest of that universe is dying and delivers a mercy kill because the only other character that would make it stay alive, Wolverine, is dead. Thus it's better to just scrap it, save whats useful from it (the deadpool character) and focus on improving the sacred timeline. On the flipside, after their universe is saved and Paradox/Nova are stopped, B-15 says that their timeline and universe have been protected forever, and that she agreed to help those left behind (Disney commenting that not all the Fox movies were thst bad and somethings are worth keeping).
It's literally a meta commentary for the handling of the purchase fox-marvel universe characters, saying that while those movies are done now, they're never going to be forgotten and the memories attached to them will always be here forever. It's a celebration of that period of time with those movies whike also poking fun of it at its own expense. Hell, even the wolverine we see in the film is a commentary on how they wanted the Hugh Jackman wolverine from the films we know, not the comic accurate yellow suited one that for years people use as the "not that interesting of a character" calling him the "worst one"
If you're looking for plot holes or trying to connect this to the grander mcu story, you're missing the entire point. Anchor beings aren't going to be a thing in future mcu projects, it's just something for this one. It's part if the mcu but it's very much outside of it as well and isolated as it's own thing.
    Don't overthink deadpool.

@melancholyentertainment except its Deadpool, where Canon and Continuity are used incredibly loosely because of the nature of the character. In the comics, anytime Deadpool is involved but isn't the main character or narrator on someone else's story, it typically follows canon/continuity. If Deadpool is the main character/narrator in one of his own comics, it should be considered "taken with a grain of salt" because Deadpool is a unreliable narrator and the minute you start breaking the 4th wall in a satirical way, you can't really take anything seriously in regards to "in universe storytelling and sense" without bringing in more questions than answers.
Deadpool stories are meant to be satirical and considered following it's own set of rules outside of Canon because of the nature of the character. Same applies to the movies. In Deadpool 2, how are the 80's young version of the macavoy x-men existing in present times with deadpool at the academy? Simple, it's a joke, a bit. Stop overthinking it.
Deadpool stories/movies play by their own rules that don't apply to the rest of the marvel universe because they take place in the pov of a mentally unstable unreliable narrator who breaks the 4th wall.

This movie was a grand farewell to the FOX marvel movies. It makes sense to have some of the key characters of that era show up for one final fight and one final goodbye. The cameos are purposeful and necessary for this to actually be a meaningful end to FOXs Marvel movies.

@@kbreezy1581 yes, it was a grand final goodbye. Outside of X23, we have not seen Snipes as Blade or Garner as Elektra for almost 20 years. Being able to bring them back for one last hoorah was an amazing for fans to enjoy and a thanks for them, mainly Snipes, for beginning all of this and being the first real Marvel hit movie. Obviously, with a movie like this, you always can’t get every original actor for these characters. But they were still able to get several key villains to return with the original actors, like Pyro, Toad, Azazel, Sabertooth, and Lady Deathstrike. And id say it’s a farewell to the FOX movies in general, not just the characters. It’s a farewell to the FOX movies as a whole. Even though some characters weren’t super popular, it’s fun to see them back in action. And Marvel has always been adding in Easter eggs to every film of theirs, so why not include with the huge group of villains. Also, what’s wrong with Gambit? Like Ryan Reynolds before he got the green light for Fox to make the first Deadpool, Channing Tatum has been wanting to play Gambit and have a Gambit movie for a very long time. Just looking at the work he’s done just for his role in this movie was incredible. It’s rare for someone to be this devoted to a character and do anything they can to play him. And in the movie, it was great that they had people from FOXs past (Blade and Elektra), their present (X23), and their “future” (Gambit).

As Mr Paradox says, it takes a couple of thousand years until the timeline dies if the anchor being dies. So they would make it to 80. Maybe Iron Man (Tony Stark/Robert Downey Jr) is the anchor being of the 616 MCU timeline.
Deadpool and Wolverine (the film) stands out because it can be standalone. You don't need to watch the previous X-Men, Deadpool or Wolverine movies to understand everything, but it is nice to know about them too.
Deadpool (the character) can show up anywhere in the MCU as now he knows where the TVA HQ is on his universe/timeline.
What I think of the timeline: X-Men Origins: Wolverine, First Class, X-Mem, X2, X-Men 3: Last Stand, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past (makes new timeline after the Mystique/Magneto President assassination attempt while Wolverine is in the future with his X-Men team and younger Wolverine gets put in Stryker's base to get released by younger Jean in Apocalypse movie), Dedapool, Deapool 2, X-Men Apocalypse, X-Men Dark Phoenix, LOGAN, and finally Deadpool and Wolverine.

Deadpool & Wolverine is overrated. If it wasn’t for all the fan service, most wouldn’t like this movie. The story itself is pretty mediocre and just not very engaging.
This is not the movie to save the MCU, especially because it’s filled with pretty much everything people have been trashing the MCU for. It focuses too much on spectacle over story, it has bad writing, formulaic plot, shallow characters, etc. If there’s one to thing I could say, it was pretty funny, that or I have a terrible sense of humor, but it worked for me.
Most people are watching because Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are teaming up, and most people are happy with it because they saw characters from movies that came out over a decade ago. Most who didn’t like the movie are because it’s shallow, vapid and adds to the ever growing list of dumb, mind-numbing, cgi fest films that people keep eating up.

The whole anchor being thing I didn’t take too seriously but took it more as a poke at Disney/Storytelling in general. Storytelling literally only creates universes to have the main characters play in. Once the main character is done, the universe flashes out of existence. Just like what the TVA is doing with these offshoot universes/timelines. Does this idea ruin the MCU in general? I don’t think so, but I think somewhere if the TVA returns again if someone mentions anchor beings the line should be, “Eh its way more complicated then that, thats just how we explain it to newbies or to the particularly slow.” So that it explains it in a joke just like the MCU loves.

Hell, I didn't even expect the film to have so many, or for the plot to be an in-universe allagory for Disney destroying the Fox-verse. It certainly made the cameo appearances more surprising and impactful (I did not expect Blade of all characters). Maybe because Ive always seen the Deadpool movies as in-universe parodies, their continuity errors never bothered me. Personally, I got a funny Deadpool and Wolverine film, and a send off to the 2000s era of superhero films I grew up on. It could have been better structured, and I think most of your points are good ones, but I had fun watching which was what I mainly cared about.

I usually agree with you on 80-100% of things for most of your videos, but this one I almost don’t agree with anything. Maybe 10-20% on this one. Your points on the continuity and the lack of a really good emotional story I agree with. This movie is just supposed to be fun and a joke. But I think you missed what the movie actually meant. This was a love letter to FOX from Ryan and Hugh. To remember where marvel actually came from before 2008 changed everything. Blade was perfect like you said, but so was Electra, so was gambit, and there not cameos. A cameo is what Stan Lee does. A quick pop up, “oh I know him” and then gone. No integral part of the story. All the suprises in this movie were “supporting roles” they were written and woven in for the story to work. They were all in it for more than 5 minutes. Thats not a cameo. You also have to think of budget. They can’t get all the extra actors you wanted for Wolverine, they probably only had enough for one and Cavil is the best choice. On top of that, Tobey/mysterio are both Sony IPs marvel doesn’t own them to use whenever. Sony is the biggest and stingiest company to deal with when handling there IPs, especially Spider-Man. We’re lucky we even got the “pew pew” motion in the car. And to have ALL of the X-men come back, even for a flashback scene, would have made the movie waayyyyy too much on budget, and way too many actors to not get leaked. There gonna save that for secret wars. There’s a lot more you said that just didn’t make sense to me. I kinda realized it more when you said you’re not a big fan of Deadpool and the movies are alright. Also the whole thing about Logan’s grave was a perfect misdirect that we honestly all wanted. Kids today know the song Bye bye bye and that intro is one of the best marvel intros of all time. Love your videos, glad you’re honest with your opinion, but I think you missed a big part of what makes this movie great.

OG Fox/Marvel character appearances in this film ranked:
    1. Blade - Easily the best one. It was honestly like Wesley Snipes had barely been gone.
    2. Human Torch - Genuinely had me laughing out loud and always a pleasure having Chris Evans back. Though as much as I love him as Johnny, I’ll always prefer him as Cap. Plus I take it as more that he’s not the specific Johnny we saw in the old F4 films and more of a variant of him.
    3. Laura/X-23 - Dafne Keen is great, so it was just nice to have her back here and she brought the right amount of emotion. I like Logan as a film but I’m not overly attached to it, so even if she’s THAT Laura pulled into the void at an older age, it doesn’t really bother me.
    4. Gambit - It was fun to see him have some fun with this role. Hearing his exaggerated Cajun accent was a good laugh and it was cool to get a classic costumed Gambit played by someone who really cares about the character. Though I imagine anyone who was a fan of the Taylor Kitsch version might be a tad disappointed he didn’t appear instead.
    5. Elektra - Jennifer Garner was fine. Like that’s all I can really say. I was never particularly attached to her iteration of the character, but it was cool to see that Daredevil universe referenced, but arguably seeing Affleck’s Daredevil would’ve probably had a bigger impact.
    6. Cassandra’s goons: Pyro, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, Toad, Azazel, Bullseye, Lady Deathstrike etc. - Again, they were fine, but added no real merit. The fact that many of them were just recast with extras was ultimately disappointing. I’d rather have had their original versions than this. But I’ll live.

Not only that, I think it gave us Hugh Jackman's very best performance as Wolverine IMO. And RR's best performance as Deadpool. So much so that I wouldn't mind if this was his final film as well (which is of course unlikely). They wrapped up the DP trilogy, gave us a second perfect Wolverine farewell, and plenty of fan service send-offs along with it. Solid acting throughout from everyone.

Deadpool and Wolverine was a collection of great scenes connected by a terrible plot and jokes that took you out of the moment/refused to let moments land. (Wolverine puts on his cowl but deadpool makes a bl0wjob joke)

As for the RDJ Doom casting - Yes! It honestly feels like stunt casting. I already wasn’t that sold on the MCU’s F4 being from another timeline, I just wanted an MCU Sacred Timeline native F4. So for them to reuse the actor for the biggest MCU character as Doom just makes me roll my eyes.
Ben Mendelsohn would’ve been solid as Doom, even if he was a Skrull for 5 minutes, Gemma Chan was in Captain Marvel in blue makeup as a Kree for 5 minutes and then was the lead in Eternals as Sersi, so it’s not impossible. Plus Ben LOVES the character of Dr Doom so could’ve brought some real passion to the part. I imagine that RDJ will play Doom well, but honestly, I’d just rather that he, Evans and Johansson come back as variants of Tony, Steve and Nat for Secret Wars in the same way Jackman was a Logan variant in DP&W.
If they’d announced those 3 returning as variants alongside Thor, Hulk and Hawkeye giving us the OG 6 team, plus Cumberbatch as Strange, Larson as Captain Marvel, Jackman as Wolverine, Reynolds as Deadpool, Holland, Garfield and Maguire as the 3 Spider-Men, the OG X-Men cast and the new F4 cast for Secret Wars, I’d have honestly been hyped.

RDJ’s stunt casting is worse than Pedro Pascal’s Mr. Fantastic stunt casting and I’d have wanted a Romani actor to play Doctor Doom as the character is Romani though I like castings of Ben Mendelsohn and Mads Mikkelson but they aren’t Romani.

The problem I have with these old previous character cameos in marvel movies now is that people want them just to have them, not because they like those versions of the character or because they could fit the story and get a very good and interesting arc, they just want them for the sake of having them and so they can have a moment in the cinema where they clap like seals. And D&W proves it.
The fact people clapped and cheered and were overjoyed to see Jennifer Garner's version of Elektra proves it as, lets be real, no one likes that version of the character as she comes from two bad movies. The fact that I've seen people genuinely want Fant4stic's cast and Ben Affleck's Daredevil to come back in secret wars just shows that even if they're not good or popular versions of the character, people will still want them back just for the reveal.
It is quite saddening to see people get hyped over cameos and speculation of seeing bad versions of characters that were never liked return, over the characters this saga introduced like Shang-Chi, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and the new Black Panther and Captain America.
This is more a problem with the fandom than what Marvel's done, as they tied the Spider-men and Blade, Gambit, Elektra, X-23 well into the story of the projects they appeared in. But there is a part of me looking forward for this saga to end that way we stop with the returning characters from previous universes, and focus on the main MCU characters like we did in the infinity saga.

I think this movie and RDJ returning really speaks to our inability as a species to accept finality and death. Which maybe needlessly philosophical but that just where I’m at. Eventually the ride is going to be over. Will it be because it ended beautifully? Or because it broke down from overuse? Seems like it’s going to be the latter. Jackman should’ve ended his run in Logan. I still believe that. Downey is at risk of the same thing. Best to accept that everything has a time… and you may not have gotten to see and do everything you wanted, but it was a good run all the same. Time to let go.

*Highs:* Hugh Jackman in a comic accurate costume (finally), the opening fight scene, Mary Puppins aka Dogpool, the Honda fight ("the Honda Odyssey f***s hard"), Cavillrine appearance, Johnny Storm's death, the Wolverine/Deadpool fight in the Void, the themes of legacy and redemption, Wolverine's talk with X-23, the Deadpool Corps battle, CT Gambit's fight choreography and the post-credits scene.
*Lows:* Cassandra Nova's motivation, the semi-weak finale, the flimsy plot, the inclusion of the TVA and the reminder of the Loki show, Mr. Paradox's stupidity, the whole "anchor being" thing, the brief fight between Wolverine and Tyler Mane Sabretooth, the pacing
*Best action scene:* Tie between the Honda fight and the opening fight set to "Bye Bye Bye"
*Best cameo:* Wesley Snipes' Blade (I let out a manly squeal when that happened)
    Overall, I'd give it a 7/10

Only 30 min in and I can say THIS is the most honest review for D&W I've seen.
I enjoyed the movie. It made me laugh. It made me excited to see a classicesq version of Wolverine.
Viewed as a comedy it works.
As an MCU film it's ... ok. It's a Deadpool movie MORE THAN ANYTHING.
It really is - I honestly believe - is DEADPOOL 3 - and nothing more.
Yea it connects to the MCU now - but only making official that Hugh and Ryan will be in The Avengers.
    Which is cool too!....
    Gosh I'm torn.
    Great review!!!!!

Ignoring the cameos the movie in my eyes suffers from the Multiverse aspect. Hopefully any future Deadpool movie they don't continue the trend. Many of your criticisms about DP&W are valid. Vanessa dying in DP2 and being in a weird spot in this movie is very awkward. The other mainstay supporting characters barely having a screen presence has been an issue for a long time. But it seems fairly obvious that you don't understand the character deadpool, nor deadpool as a movie.
DP wanting to be an avenger doesn't make much sense at first, but when you consider that being an avenger in the MCU is his lifeline to surviving the vicious superhero film industry, it makes sense. DP is the only superhero movie with the power to challenge things on a meta level like that.
I see a lot of nitpicks that really just make sense if you think about it for more than five minutes. DP going to earth-616? He literally shoots Ryan Reynolds accepting the role of GL with cable's watch. TVA not caring about what he did? They don't seem to care about Endgame at all, and that was something that reversed the fate of literally half of the people in the universe, and involved pulling six metaphysical stones of creation from their proper time and place. IMO it'd be a greater inconsistency if they let that slide but not DP's flippant use of the watch.
To a degree I get your criticism about anchor beings. They could be an ordinary joe and they can die easily. Plus by DP now being part of the MCU it sets a precedent that every universe will have an anchor being. But to get to that point, that specific universe usually lives for billions of years, and then when the anchor being dies the universe lives for thousands more. An anchor being doesn't have to be iron man or spiderman, nowhere have the conditions for someone being an anchor being laid out. And because anchor beings is a single individual in a specific time and space, they need not even he brought up.
New wolverine's backstory is genuinely tragic. It's really odd that you frame it as the writers' afterthought to include the line of him losing it and going on a revenge murder spree. That is very much in his character considering how they've depicted him thus far. Maybe you're desensitised considering the things you've read in the comics since you mention them a lot, but to claim his backstory as something that's not worth wolverine being so broken and deflated? His found family are all dead and he wasn't even awake to try and help them.
Sparing Cassandra Nova seems out of character? Wolverine spent most of the movie ashamed and angry that he was not the X-man that Charles thought him as. He even wears the suit in remembrance of that. And he finally (internally) acknowledges that even if he may not be that X-man, he can still try. This is shown when he gets out of the trunk of the car. And he really does it. Xavier wouldn't consign a helpless person to die, especially not a mutant, and wolvie knows it. To claim that this scene falls flat makes me think you've just missed the point and tone of the movie.
And honestly, I don't understand the criticisms about the cameos, or lack thereof. Not having any MCU heroes during the interview? The movie is about DP realising that the avengers are not the end all be all. Besides that, thor is seen holding DP in a playful scene hinting what's could happen in the future. Cavellerine was hilarious and cool imo, I don't see why this is wasted potential by not having other cool fancastings that pandered to you specifically. No other X-men as cameos? Okay, and? I genuinely don't understand the issue with this. What would depicting them do besides decreasing the budget significantly and being the exact gratuitous cameos you're complaining about. The depth of wolverine's sorrows has already been realised well.
I also disagree with the egregious use of the word 'cameo'. Human torch and Sabertooth were cameos 100%. But Blade, Elektra, Gambit, Juggernaut and Pyro? They were supporting characters through and through. Very welcome and surprising for sure, but not cameos. I feel like people have become very comfortable throwing that word around. All of those characters were integral to the way the story unfolded. Besides these, I keep seeing issues you raise where you'd have liked to see X or see them use set piece Y without really considering that they don't work narratively, which is really odd to me cause I've you make great arguments in prior videos about set pieces that would have worked well narratively in those respective movies.
As aforementioned, I don't think you understand deadpool as a character nor as a movie. Quite often I find that people who don't like certain superheroes or superhero media go into it having very different ideas of what to expect. DP&W could only do what DP&W could do, and infinity war couldn't do that just as much as DP&W couldn't do what infinity war did. If you weren't a fan of DP in the first place and went into it knowing full well you wouldn't get it, then it calls into question how good faith this critique is. Most of this video comes across as, "You know that thing you love about this movie? Well here's why it's dumb and why you shouldn't like it." I don't know if you'll read this. Or maybe you will and won't respond. But hopefully if you did read it, it'll help be more objective in your critique.

I've pretty much been done with the MCU for a while now, both because of the quality decline and general superhero fatigue. So I was shocked to find that I absolutely loved Deadpool & Wolverine! I didn't much care for the first Deadpool movie, and liked the second but not enough to ever see it more than the one time, and definitely didn't think I had any nostalgia for the Fox X-Men franchise. But there i was, laughing my ass off and having a grand old time and even shedding a few years while watching the new movie. Loved the Chris Evans cameo, the Oldboy homage fight scene set to Like a Prayer, the surprisingly emotional campfire scene between Logan and X-23 (oh, and I still haven't even seen "Logan"), all the roasting of the MCU and cinematic universes. Just pure glee!
9/10, the highest rating I've ever given an MCU movie, along with 2 of the Guardians films. Absolutely loved it!
And now I never have to watch another MCU movie ever again.

Also I would like you to give the Doctor Doom casting a chance, he probably isn't 616 Doom or the permanent Doom and another may show up at some point in the universe. Also go read the What If comic of Iron Man becoming Doctor Doom. It's the Russo Brothers directing it and they understand the comics so please give them a chance please.
