Die dürfte im System "verloren gegangen sein." Und ja, heute mal Deutsch. Die gesamte Stimmung ist "Geil", aber es ist auch dass Lied, dass ich in manchen Zeiten Meide, da es zu sehr an die Situation mit meiner eigenen Mutter erinnert. Und es mir immer alles zusammenzieht, wenn ich an diese Denke. Wenn die Leute nur wüssten, wie teuflisch sie mit mir immer ist (auch als Erwachsene). Sie hat eindeutig Narzisstische Züge und der Coach mit dem ich mich manchmal austauschte (der gleiches erlebte), sagte, dass nur der Kontaktabbruch hilft. Es klingt arg, aber es stimmt 100%. So, jetzt weisst Du, dass ich noch lebe. Bis demnaechst wieder irgendwo im Netz und alles Gute an den Bodensee. ❤

I still to this day, after listening for 20 plus years, can not figure out which Rammstein song is my favorite! This is definitely one of them though.
I know exactly what you mean. Every time I think I have found my favourite song I revisit some more and find a different favourite. I just love them all to be fair.
I have come back 2 years later to say that I finally decided that this is my favorite Rammstein song! I'll check back again in a couple more years, it could be different at that point!

actually these sparks are pretty painful. flake wrote in his book how he sometimes catches one or two and they hurt him thrugh his jacket, and till takes them on bare skin so just imagine the experience

In an early performance Till added a little extra sadness to the slow part where he repeats "Mutter" right before the sparks happen. He used to add a little and very desperate sounding "Mama?" ( "mommy") right before he blows it off with the final shouting of "Mutter". Can't find the performance any longer sadly but it hit differently that much I can say.

They dosen’t play this song often… it’s very personal to Till and Richard. They had a very unhappy childhood and the song brings back a lot of memories.
its allways nice to hear their performances alive, but in these particular case i think that song its much much better in studio version

First off, nice to see reactions of older Rammstein songs 👍 U really should turn the lyrics on for Rammstein songs to get the 'meaning' or the idear thats behind ever song especialy when german is not ur native language. Its not always easy to understand (even for me as a german) what Till is singing about. 🤪 Keep rockin 🤘 Oh btw. Till has a solo project running calling 'Lindemann'. Maybe u´ll like this too:

You definitly should look up the lyrics in english. The best part IMHO is this: "The mother who has never given birth to me, I swore that night, I want do gift her a disease and then drown her in the river." Because even if the Riffs make this Song special the lyrics are a the real gem in this Song.
