Wow..praise God..I've been searching for this song for ages. I played this with friends when I was still a satanic and now serving the Lord. Still relevant at 2023
NO ONE, NEVER as big as Jesus, the creator of all things, I love this song, as good as the first time.
Amen Stanley... He IS the King if Kings and Lord of Lords!
His father ànd mother watch your tongue.
@@rah2754 ....wut?
Was a teen when this came out now I’m 40 and I still know Every word
This was a little later for me. I was into the 70's and 80's music.
I'm the same age, 41 now. Our youth group got to go to their Don't Censor Me concert in Reno when they were on tour with Newsboys. It was so awesome! They came out after the show to sign autographs. They were all so nice!
I was 12 and loved it then and now lol. 35 now and have my 4 kids singing it
I’m dropping my teen off at school right now and something made me think to look this up for nostalgia as well haha
Ha! I was a teenager when this came out, too. Unfortunately I was a butthead teenager that got into the wrong crowd. So glad Jesus grabbed me and shook me for dear life as I got older. I LOVE THIS SONG!
2023 still rocking out for Jesus and playing this on drums
The truth is, he really could have been a big star if he had not chose Christian music. That's devotion.
In the end his crown will be greater than the fame he could’ve gotten on earth.
I was 18 when I was introduced to all the 90s Christian bands I’m 43
Don’t sleep on Barry Blair-such a tasteful guitar solo.
Veeeery good thought! I was 46 last Sunday, and a kind man said "Hope you're happier 2024" and I properly thought again: "Jesus has been looking at humanity for 2024 years!😊
Legends of Christian Rock
SG 5 5; Yeah the stuff out today sucks. The great bands like Petra, Whitecross, AD, Ken Tamplin (Tamplin is a vocal coach now ugh!) Whiteheart, Resurrection Band, Guardian (Awesome band), D&K and many more are gone. Remember seeing sadly Petras Farewell Tour. I still listen mostly to the old bands. I.like Praise & Worship but listen more the "OLD SCHOOL" stuff.
Mark Stuart (the lead singer) and Will McGinniss (bass player) now tour as Audio Talks, giving confessions and doing a few songs only a night. Mark Stuart lost his voice a few years back and concerts are not possible for him. It's such a shame; he was Christian music's best frontman and singing package. But he's taken it with grace and is a first-class man, and while he had days of doubt, he remembers who gave him his skills in the first place and he's still willing to be God's Hands & Feet.
Was living in LA back when they shot this… Fresh back from the Jesus Freak Tour where they opened for DC Talk, they got a hold of me, and wanted to use my car for this Video… 20 years later, I see my car! 😮❤😂
This is a great song! I used to play it in Children’s Church for the kids about twenty years ago! One of my favorite bands!
I'm playing it this Sunday for my third through fifth graders! ;)
The Original Audio A = ...way ahead of their time >
Indeed!
Yeah they were too bad about that singer hope all is good for him now
Never gonna be as big as Jesus
Never gonna hold the world in my hands
Never gonna be as big as Jesus
Never gonna build a promised land
But that's, that's all right
Okay with me
This song is so overlooked
2020 still sounds great
Right!
It still sounds good in 2021 too if you were wondering
2021 even more
and in 2021
Gosh yes
I just got home from church. My mom asked what my favorite kind of music is and after I told here, she stole my phone from me, got on RUclips and turned this song on. Im liking it so far. . . the song just finished and I love this song.
God bless all in the comments, RUclips, and world.
+DC BEASTS Daily Vlogs YT
What music did you tell your mom that you liked to where she took your phone?
Manowar, Mercyful Fate and Paradise Lost? If you like metal, check out the Christian metal bands of Stryper, Deliverance (Jimmy P. Brown), Whitecross, Leviticus, Bloodgood, Ken Tamplin, Red, Demon Hunter, Vengeance Rising and Metal Church.
What about Snoop, Eminem, and Kanye West? If you like hiphop, check out K2S, The Cross Movement, LeCrae, Da' T.R.U.T.H., and Toby Mac (of DC Talk).
This might help you find some Christian alternatives to some of the styles of music that are usually hated by all mothers around the world. Just google "Christian metal bands" or "Christian hiphop bands" and you should find some stuff you might like. I just listed some of my favorites to send you in the right direction. Good luck and have fun. Maybe your mom will give you back your phone, too.
TFK skillet,
Very dangerous words that can lead you astray.
I have this song on my favorite list.

Jesus is Lord of all
wow ... good memories, thank you Jesus for changing my life forever, I grew up as a young born again christian to these songs, best thing that ever happened in my life !!
Amen!
Brings me back. I seen you guys in Ft. Myers years ago! ❤❤❤❤ great concert!
Oh! Lord forgive us all mortal sinners.....Forgive me, help me conquer all my obstacles, I love Jesus.
We are forgiven. I'm still a rock star in my mind.
This kind of music makes me feel better about everything
Amen!🙏
Remembering one of the best band that proclaimed freely the gospel.
And this, my brothers and sisters in Christ, is why we should model our lives after our savior's.
I MISS YOU JESUS! I NEED YOU IN MY HEART AGAIN!
edwinmusic back to the Jesus
(
Oh Lord, this guy is moody again. Like mad eye moody from harry potter. You never know when he will turn on the dark side again. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
did He leave ?
Seek and ye shall find.
Pass...
I don't know if I ever posted a comment here before or not and I am not about to scroll through all of the great comments. This song, more than any other in my life, has kept me grounded because I can never be as big as JESUS! Thank you, JESUS!!!
I love Audio Adrenaline with Mark Stuart
Don't know how, but I forgot about these guys. Was watching " I can only imagine " on Netflix, and they mentioned AUDIO ADRENALIN! Great movie and reminded me of a great band !
I’ve heard this song sense I was a Baby now I’m 18 it still is a good song
Im back here to try to honor one of the greatest generations that America has been blessed with. God bless their memory, their wife's and children and mothers , fathers brothers and sisters..My dad passed away September 16th 2014.
Dad had a deep abiding respect for every man Who gave the full measure, the ones who helped rescue them the one who went on to fight in France as he did. There are no words to describe his respect his sorrow his gratefulness. He's now with the heros from that event. He was mine. He was a great human and father..I ⚘️🫂🕊👑
Catchy music and great words...
I'm just having an Audio Adrenaline marathon. I forgot about these guys but never their music. Or their message. God bless every member of this band.
blakereed92
AUDIO ADRENALINE MARATHON? SAME! Lol 😝
Same here 2018 lol
Same here
My preacher knew these guys in bible college. They bought an amp from him.
@@gw5309 A lot's changed in six years but these guys are still great.
That's rad!
Wow, those 90s haircuts are insane. Hard to believe that this song is 22 years old. Crazy. Seeing them in this video, and seeing their hairstyles now, you'd never know these were the same guys.
i can't get enough 90's Christian things :0)
Back in 1991 or 1992 they were camp counselors at the camp I went to. As their 1st Album came out. At first they were known as A-180. They were very Awesome to get to know and so down to earth with a message about God.
Pretty cool to hang out with a rock band.
Wow never gonna be as big as my God!
A bright spot in a decade that lacked for good music.
When I feel wilted, this song makes me *"Bloom".*
I love this song Audio Adrenaline is my favorite band.
This song is a melodic trainwreck
For that time (1996) this was really "state of the art", today´s bands should learn from bands like this one, specially the so call teenage bands.
These guys were my go to jam band! Great song! Some clung to Nirvana, but I reached for Audio A! 😉!!!!
Still sounds great in 2021.
Wow. Simply Glory to God Wow!!!
Brings back memories
I tried but by my works I'll never make it it's through Jesus Christ only and his death burial and resurrection that I'm saved and live John 14:6 18 27 16:33 😊😊😊
Miss these guys, still love their music
This is a claaaassic, ppl!!!
Great song
Best song ever II ❤
I MISS THESE GUYS LIKE BROTHERS 😇❤
Saw these guys back in the 90s great show still think their live bootleg was their best
and now K-Max is singing with them he’s awesome
My first concert at 15 (1995) was Audio Adrenaline opening for dc Talk.
That shirt and this song made me think that it'd be the greatest ARROGANCE to say that anybody or anything is 'bigger than Jesus'. Only worldliness and blindness of heart would move to say such a thing, and only foolishness would move anybody to confound momentary popularity with greatness.
Yet, Jesus remains as the biggest treasure in heaven and earth, and it is awesome to see that missionaries inside and outside a country have carried and continue to carry the Gospel of Salvation everywhere.
Haven't seen this video in years. Nice to see it again, especially during these crazy times we live in now.
my fav band. i met the lead singer when they came to my church. talked to him for about 10 mins. have all my cds signed , they were doing the worldwide album. almost saw them again on there last tour thru but didnt get a chance to go.
Still such a fun song 😎
I MISS YOU 90'S =)
love this song!
To me it's a poppy rock song. Good stuff.
This is just like jars of clay!!
haha, they were contempararies, I always felt Jars of clay were much better writters
Audio Adrenalie is coming back google it. KMax on vocals and it's gonna rock!!!
Wish the Beatles had thought like Audio Adrenaline.
I can't even process that statement. You never even hear about PFR anymore. The Beatles are steadily gaining new fans fifty years on.
+youlikefeet We're CLEARLY not going to come to any kind of an agreement because we're miles apart in our opinions. Nevertheless, I will say that my main point was that the Beatles were gaining new fans and not so much about the amount of fans. I hear about the Beatles or the individual band members several times a month and hear absolutely nothing about PFR. While that does not in and of itself make the Beatles a better band, it DOES say something about their impact on music and pop culture. I won't argue that certain people like a band because it is the "in" thing to do, but the Beatles have been around for over 50 years and they're STILL pretty much the "in" thing. To ignore that or play it off is just denial. As for PFR's complicated riffs you speak of, I will have to listen to them before I can comment on that but, even if it is more complicated than the Beatles, I doubt it's more complicated than the Beatles could ever dream of. That is hyperbole if I ever read it. Plus, as I'm sure YOU would agree, the technical complexity of a band hardly makes it a better band. It's like you said, a large part of it comes down to personal taste but I think if a band can withstand the test of time then that speaks volumes about them in so many ways. I can say with 100% confidence that people will be talking about the Beatles and comparing bands to them 100 years from now. They not only raised the bar, but made the bar and then raised it. Anyway, I know I'm wasting my time because you and I both seem set in our ways. Cheers to you and PFR.
@@justindenson676 what Justin said. I've listened to PFR in my youth and still do at times to relive my childhood. But they're not that great.
The Beatles i listen to regularly and often am i in awe still by what they accomplished.
migol1984 what is PFR?
I'm personally not a big Beatles fan, myself. I like only a few of their songs and it's usually the super popular ones that everyone tends to like. I do think they tend to be over-hyped but... John Lennon. I think if it weren't for him and his mysterious presence and girls fawning all over him they wouldn't be as huge. Gotta have a dream guy to make it for the masses. Never heard of PFR so will look them up. Always looking for cool Christian groups!!!
Glory be to God for 2022. I had a plan to form a band with my former classmates named Dopaminergic. But 2 points kept me from graduating from school. All on the journey, and in the future by God's Grace, we will do better. Bless you guys for magnifying the name of Jesus christ. Happy new year!!!!
I love this song and Ocean floor..
¡Que buena canción! yo la escuché por primera vez como en 1997 y desde entonces soy fan de la banda. ¡Saludos desde Guatemala!
God is so good. #ChristianAndProud
Probably my favorite AA song. And from my favorite AA era. This came out just as I was getting into 70's classic rock, and this album filled that bill.
This song was huge in my life. I remember mowing yards singing this.
Just saw them live a couple weeks ago. Still as good as they were when this song was new.
The old memories 💖💖💖💖💖💖
this song is so true.....we can't be as big as Jesus..
:)
I could move to hollywood
Get my teeth capped I know I could
Be a big star on the silver screen
Just like james dean I could be a star
I could climb the corporate ladder
Buy, sell, and liquidate
Maybe be just like the beatles
Melodic, rocking heavyweights
I could learn to sing and dance
If I only had a chance
I could be a big rock star
I could be anything I wanted to
I wanted to
I could be anything but one things true
Never gonna be as big as jesus
Never gonna hold the world in my hand
Never gonna be as big as jesus
Never gonna build a promised land
But thats alright okay with me
I could build a tower to heaven
Get on top and touch the sky
I could write a million songs
All designed to glorify
I could be about as good
Good as any human could
But that wont get me by
I could be anything I wanted to
I wanted to
I could do anything but one things true
Never gonna be as big as jesus
Never gonna hold the world in my hand
Never gonna be as big as jesus
Never gonna build a promised land
But thats alright okay with me
I'm a shooting rock star in my little world or mind.
Best band ever!
I totally agree! Love 'em!
Im53and still know every word wish Kevin max was still with them
My teenage years. Oh man. I got to see them live at a church here in Florida.
August 2021, sounds super, music very much in
I'm glad I got to see these guys in concert. It changed my life.
Love these guys. I wish they were still together.
Old School AA! I remember when this song first came out on CD came out back in like '96 on their album "bloom!" It was AWESOME then & still is now!!
Yo la escuché por primera vez a esta banda en 2023 y pues es genial, quisiera que me recomienden bandas cristianas con música de este estilo. 😜 🙏
Jesus is my lord
LOVE these guys and the message the share in each and every song!
I still love this whole album!
Wow! I love this sing (and jesus) so much. Praise be with god hallelujah ❤️💯✝️🕊🌅
Reunion Tour, please.
does anyone else remember them doing if you're happy and you know it bang your head? I saw these guys at a county fair in South Dakota years ago, and I remember the bass player going nuts when they did that song.
That was quite awhile ago, but I do remember that!
Vaya vaya, y pensar que ahora todo es regueton.. Que buena música, ya pasé los 40 y aún recuerdo esta canción.
still love these guys
I miss these guys. Followed a bunch of their concerts back in the day, just before and after Ben joined and he was a sweetie. He, Bob and Will were very indulgent in a dorky fan's chatting and were so kind. Mark was the only one I never really got to interact much with outside autograph lines, but can't hold that against him. It wasn't snootiness or anything remotely like that, it was just timing and all that, like the time Ben and I crossed paths at Cornerstone and hung out a bit.
audio adrenalina never gonna👍👍👍👍
Heart!
@the Crown
(When it was fresh!)
best song they ever wrote
Wow! I was in my 20's when this came out. I'm 63 yrs old and still walking down that narrow road with Jesus. Man, what has happened to gospel music? Saw Petras Farewell Tour. Sad all.of those bands are gone. Whitecross, AD, Whiteheart Whitecross and so many more. I don't care for Kevin Max as lead vocalist for Audio Adrenaline. Miss the old Newsboys even though I like Michael Tate.
So true 😍 love Jesus. I will play this song in my bass.
this is awesome :) favorite song ever
