Here! God bless❤ He is and always will be our one and only God. Seek Him out with every breath you take. We need Him now more than ever. Love to all my brothers and sisters out there. Feel loved and be blessed!!!!
My mother was that way too. All day long, she woke us up for school with Christian music blasting. Today those songs keeps my faith strong in Jesus Christ 🙏🏿♥️
always relevant :). If God were not in control, the universe itself would fall apart, how much more is He in control of the lives those who love Him and trust in Him?
God used this song to quiet my anxiety before a surgery. I will never forget how anxious I was and this was the first song I heard the day before the surgery when I turned the radio on in my car. I burst into tears because it was so perfect for what I needed to hear right then.
Oh dude this song is perfect for right now! It's such a go to when things go crazy and reminds me that regardless of what happens God is still God and he's faithful... And it's a great one to dance to!
Yes this song is timeless. I need you to pray for this couple Matt and Amy Dumas, God spoke to me and told me that Matt and Amy Dumas belong together and that he wants them back as a couple I even had dreams about them that God reconciled their relationship so please pray those two.
I attended a Twila Paris concert a few days after the 9/11 tragedy. She closed her performance by saying a few encouraging words to the audience, reminding us that God is indeed in control and always will be. Then she sang a somewhat subdued version of this song. At the end there was no applause, everyone was just too overwhelmed to applaud. Very moving, very inspiring. It lifted my spirit just when I needed it the most. Thank you, Twila.
Many years ago in my early 20's back in the 80's I used to volunteer to help out backstage at concerts loading or unloading the gear from any number of Christian bands that came into the Fox Theatre in Detroit back at that time. I was at a Dallas Holme concert and moving instruments and luggage into their bus when I came across this gem who was sitting backstage watching Dallas singing. She had started off the concert and blew my mind because I had heard her music for several years before. She was probably the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. Nobody was her equal and she had the most beautiful spirit that you could imagine and when she looked at you with those amazing eyes you were a goner! She was also very young back then as well. It was my great privilege to have been able to meet Twila Paris in person and shake her hand and thank her for allowing God to use her to bring a message of hope and truth and joy to so many people.
I thought about hearing this song on a TV commercial for a compilation CD a long time ago, and I realized it's just the song I needed to hear right now.
In 1994 this song turned me towards God. A few months later I got Saved following attending Twila's concert! Thank you, dear sister Twila, for being obedient when God wrote this song on your heart. I will be literally Eternally grateful.
I thought I was in control of my life but my life was out of control. Now from today moving forward GOD will be in control. I've made a mess out of my life. Thank you God for giving me another chance.
My dad shared this with me not too long ago. I've been listening to this a lot lately. This year has been crazy. Thank God for His word and songs like this reminding us He is still in control. He never changes. Spoiler alert. God wins. Jesus comes back. This evil time is temporary
In 2005 I was at a crossroads so to speak, not sure what was happening in my life, and I felt so confused. One day I was driving, listening to Christian radio, and stressing about it all....suddenly two songs played back to back brought me so much encouragement: this song, and "Walk By Faith" by Jeremy Camp. It felt like God was talking to me through music. ❤️ And yes, shortly after things became clearer for me.
I had this song played at my wifes funeral this year. We got to see Twila play this one year at Christian Family weekend at Six Flags. This was the only song she had time to do before the thunder storms shut everything down for the day. I will never forget the light bar swinging over her head from the wind that day.
This song is for today for this election and what we are facing this song came into my mind after reading a news article about Biden. Lord help us be calm trust You and believe you are in control. Help us be faithful to you not fall away and be in fear. In Jesus name Amen. Help those struggling with fear and anxiety we need you. Fill us with your light and love and help us in every area and turn to you in true Repentance. Amen.
I used to play these songs in the 90’s and as I was drifting off to sleep seeing this “CHAOS” that I can’t do anything about this song welledup inside me…. The TRUTH of this song brings joy!
Oh Holy One of Isreal, have mercey on humanity. You hardened Pharoah's heart. Please soften our world leaders hearts and have them lay down all weapons of war. You have silenced huge armies before with not even the rattle of a sword. I beg You Lord..send peace to all earth. In Jesus blessed Holy name I 🙏
.... here I am tattoos everywhere and listening to good ol twila paris. I told my kids if it had to be stuck in my head is gunna be sick in there's too. On the real this is fire. And needed today.
I love Twila Paris and Sandi Patty. Their Christian music videos were the best. Another time, Another place, Hand on my Shoulder, Carry On, God is Control, and Destiny all those music videos were very and still lift my sprits. They both had the best Christian music songs to listen to.
My oh my how we need songs like this and others to encourage us in this day and time. So many people are struggling with life and wonder why their life is so hard. Many times the problems of life are just too much to cope with and we feel the Lord has abandoned us to deal with the mess by ourself. I mean if we are to be honest, life can often feel overwhelming. That's just the truth. We feel it's just too much and many people leave the Church and completely stop praying or reading the Bible. In other words, they walk away from the Lord because they feel they've been given a rotten deal in life beyond their control. That the Lord could care less. So they walk away. In those dark times when we feel completely alone, we often wonder where is the Lord. Why did he leave us in this mess. Sometimes we do make the mess but other times we don't. The mess is just dumped on us. I mean let's keep it real, not all problems are created by us. Sometimes it might be a layoff from a job, a car wreck, health problems, or whatever that's brought into our life that was not our fault. I mean we can understand when we do something stupid and we make the mess. We understand that, however it's when we don't understand why, that's when it's really hard. I don't know, maybe it's all a test of faith. I mean let's be honest, anyone can praise the Lord when life is peachy. When things are going well it's easy to say Amen and have lots of faith, anyone can do that. However, that's not faith. Praising the Lord is great but praising Him in the good times requires no faith. Real faith is praising Him when things don't go your way. When life is not peachy. If things are going bad and you can still praise him, then your really living by faith. Like the Facing the Giants movie, "we praise Him if we win, we praise Him if we lose." If we can ever get to that point where we praise Him no matter what the situation, then we truly know God is in Control.
As a young girl I learned this song because we listened to it often. Tonight I was praying feeling lost and scared, and the holy Spirit brought this song to mind. ❤ I love the bridge❤
Whenever I here this song I always remember as a kid my family use to go to a Christian family summer camp every summer and parents would play music every night for us to fall asleep too and this song was on it
Love this song! One of Twila’s best! Met her after a concert in MN - she was one of the sweetest person’s I’ve ever met. So gracious and kind. She has the Spirit of Jesus!
Besides the corny video (at least in my opinion LOL) I LOVE the message of this song. It keeps coming back to my mind now in late 2024; the message of the song fits now much more than when she came out with it!
3/25/2024: "God . . . .IS in CONTROL." And because of my declaration and Faith, God's Grace Will guide me successfully through today's challenge. Amen. 🙏🏿🧎🏿♀️
As a child, I would cry while watching this. Today God is revealing how true these words are, and I'm so glad He impressed this song on my heart- to remember today.
No matter how high the tides rise, how hard the wind blows, how dark the night gets or how many times we're afflicted GOD IS IN CONTROL. We're not forgotten he will lead us to the land of milk and honey.
When I first started to learn to drive. I used to to sing this song in my car. It took all the fear away. I still do not have one single ticket. Praise God. What a blessing.
This is a very beautiful song thank you Jesus for dying on that cross for me and my thanks goes out to all our military and soldiers who gave their lives so we can have the freedoms that we have God bless you all !
I believed that's GOD is in control because I had covid 19 and I lost my left leg and foot and my right lung clasped but I'm still alive and I'm living for GOD forever .
I wish I could like this song 1000 times!! I grew up listening to this song...I feel like a child again and it's so timely for the times we are living in now. God always has been and always will be in control!!!!
Here 2020 and it's perfect for this season when the world is focusing on Corona virus. This song reminds the world God is in Control and his children will not be forsaken

i think of this song everytime i fear for my friends in gaza and the west bank. i believe that god is in control and he will protect them. all looks bleak but GOD IS IN CONTROL!!🇵🇸🇵🇸🍉🍉
No matter how many time we hear this, we need to be reminded during this pandemic situation that God is in Control. No matter how much we enjoy the music, we need to understand the lyrics in order to know what we are listening to. No Matter who sings this, we all fall away from it sometimes. No matter how much we forget, God in His Mercy and Loving Kindness still Values us as His Own.
Praying for my Grandpa who is in the hospital with Covid and this song is on repeat in my mind. Please pray if you have a moment, for my grandpa and all those being affected by Covid-19!
2025 God is still in control! I grew up listening to this song and came across it again today. It it still just as powerful and brings tears to my eyes. I understand these words more now in my 40’s than I did as a child. Hold on to your faith.
I was in Christian radio when these songs were a big deal. I hadn't seen this video before. It's really great. She was (is) a quite beautiful young lady.
@@richardholmi1473 I wish they did. I can't even listen to Christian radio anymore, when that used to be all I listened to. I have to go to all of the older music in order to actually truly worship.

Yes, with all of the ugliness and strife and finger-pointing and whining and rioting after the election, the message of this song says it all. The truth is that no matter who the president of the USA is, whether you like that person or not as president, in the end God is our true Commander in Chief. Let us not lose sight of that fact. He is omnipotent, He is omnipresent, He is omniscient. He is the only one who can claim such power. Hallelujah!
Yes!!! God is In control. But I hate the thought of playing this to the little children we see walking 3 miles to drink from a mud puddle, because that's all they've had for generations. To them this seems like just another platitude, even with the freedom expressed by the beautiful dancers. My heart wants to tell about their Father who wants them to drink the clean water I have, but they're thousands of miles away and we can't afford the postage. So, what does "God is in Control" mean for them? Did Jesus know the reality of unanswered prayers?
@@donaldmckay2722 You seem to accuse God. Accuse humanity. They are the ones who chose to break the perfect world God created for us so long ago. Yes, it is right to feel compassion for people such as these, just be careful where you lay the blame. And yes, Jesus knew/knows everything.
Who is here 2024! God put this song in heart this morning. Very timely. So beautiful memories
Same with me. God put it in my spirit this morning and I am here. God is in control 🙏. Blessings 🙌.
God is still in control! Praise the Lord.
"We believe that his children will not be forsaken" So true, uplifting and encouraging. I love all of Twila's music.
One of my all time favourites.
Here! God bless❤
He is and always will be our one and only God. Seek Him out with every breath you take. We need Him now more than ever. Love to all my brothers and sisters out there. Feel loved and be blessed!!!!
I just thought of it again last week after of 10+ years of not listening to this song!!!
My children were born early for a reason! 07/30/16, 10/13/20 and 03/20/24! All of them are healthy and thriving. 33weekere 30, and 32 weeks gestation!
God is in control! We believe that his children will not be forsaken.
Amen we fail in many thing yet we bare the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ for His glory alone Amen!
My mother use to play all of these Christian songs on the radio in the 1990's when I was a child and they never left my spirit or my memory.
Praise God and Great Momma! God is definitely in control.
My mother was that way too. All day long, she woke us up for school with Christian music blasting. Today those songs keeps my faith strong in Jesus Christ 🙏🏿♥️
So did my mama. 90s was the best
You can still hear them on kloveclassics.com
Yesss!!! Remembering this song from childhood is helping me today 30 years later. 💒💪🙌
I believe that God is in control through my now 5 round with cancer.
God bless you in Jesus Christ name, AMEN 🙏.

Praying for your miraculous healing!!!❤️🩹 but in any eventuality God is in control. Keep your faith and he will bring it to fruition!!
It's the year 2023 and I'm still listening to this amazing and wonderful song here.
2024.
When I first moved out of my father's house in 2007, I didn't know what to expect and this is the song that kept me going with my head rised high .
2024 and God brought this song to my heart. Thank you mom for playing it all the time when I was a kid.
❤
God is in Control Everyday, I love the dancing in this video because I'm a dancer myself and I'm a born again Christian
“Culture can make its plan, but GOD is in control”
That NEVER changes
dang .... this music helped me big time back then ... good times ....
Christian music was great in the '80s it helped me alot....love it!!
and still does.
Listened to lullaby today for the first time in a few years. Sure helped with how I've been feeling these days.
Yes, me too, & even today!
Dang is a minced path of damn, no good.
90s Christian music was the purest
I got saved in 98 loved this era clay Crosse carman many others
Next to 70's and 80's Christian music that is. 😅
I always come back to this song when I feel like my life is getting out of hand. God is great!
Lol, I read "my wife" instead of "my life" at first :P lolz!
❤
Great holy week song
AMEN. Exactly what i’m doing now
It reminds me that God has everything in control no matter what I face God is in control
Thank you Twila!! This song is even more relevant in 2024.

Old song - But timeless - one of my favorites still! This woman is gold! ❤ God bless !
One of those rare songs that is timeless. Keeps speaking truth generation after generation.
Yes this song is timeless. I need you to pray for this couple Matt and Amy Dumas, God spoke to me and told me that Matt and Amy Dumas belong together and that he wants them back as a couple I even had dreams about them that God reconciled their relationship so please pray those two.
Yes we have to hold on to sound doctrine
As an Orthodox Christian. This is the truth. During 9/11 I held on to this song.
Twila Paris is the first praise and worship singer to draw my attention to god
Mine was Rich Mullins...
Listen to some of Keith Green's songs....I love his "Create in me a clean Heart"!

me too!!!
Mine was Sandi Patty and Twia Paris and still are today.

@ That’s true. However, the song achieved major success in 1994. It’s a wonderful song about the Lord. I didn’t mean it in a bad way.
Dedicate this to our planet EVERYTHING is in his hands!! 🙏 Thank you for your boundary lines Lord God Almighty 🔥🌈

How appropriate is this song right now?
Very appropriate! 😊
Extremely appropriate
God is atemporal
Yep! it sure is appropriate, due to the hosts of conundrums from Covid
The Message of this song is ALWAYS appropriate because it always has been and always will be true.

God is in control!! No matter what you're thinking or fear just remember God is in control of everything
This song brought back SO many memories!!!!!.... I remembered all the lyrics too. GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!!!!!
Indeed He is in control, HALLELUJAH!🕊🕊🕊
I have been thinking about this song for the past few days. God is trully in control... Over Covid19.
Wow what a song..God is really in control .. hallelujah
God is in control. My wife said she would never leave me. She died in July.
Oh, I haven't heard this song in years! Twila Paris was the first Christian artist that I listened to/fell in love with when I first got saved!
Me, too. Her songs really helped to cement Biblical truth into my spirit.
I’m a metal head and I love this song. God is always in control :)
Amen 🙏 GOD is in control 🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I was in Christian radio when these songs were a big deal. I hadn't seen this video before. It's really great. She was (is) a quite beautiful young lady.
Why don't.they play it now on 📻 radio?
@@richardholmi1473 I wish they did. I can't even listen to Christian radio anymore, when that used to be all I listened to. I have to go to all of the older music in order to actually truly worship.
Beautiful. More of this is needed.

This has been playing in my ear, God is doing something grand.
Loved this song so many years ago. And it is just as relevant now!
I was a fan many years ago. Love her song and the message still today.
This song is still filled with awesome power! I love it!
This song has kept me together through the quarantine and attacks on our freedoms.
Praying for my husband Lyn he’s in the hospital 🏥 ICU he’s been in hospitals 5 months almost 6😢
🙏 ❤
Yes, with all of the ugliness and strife and finger-pointing and whining and rioting after the election, the message of this song says it all. The truth is that no matter who the president of the USA is, whether you like that person or not as president, in the end God is our true Commander in Chief. Let us not lose sight of that fact. He is omnipotent, He is omnipresent, He is omniscient. He is the only one who can claim such power. Hallelujah!
Bob Marshall So true🙌 God is always in control 🙌
He got us through the Obama years, praise God!!!
@@astronomy7911 - too bad she won't help you finish a book without crayons though.
@@donaldmckay2722 You seem to accuse God. Accuse humanity. They are the ones who chose to break the perfect world God created for us so long ago. Yes, it is right to feel compassion for people such as these, just be careful where you lay the blame. And yes, Jesus knew/knows everything.
