I listened to this song on repeat while I was 8.5 months pregnant in ICU. Everyday for 12 days I told myself I was in God's hands and these words uplifted me after a friend sent it to me. I beat the odds, walked out of ICU and 2 weeks later I delivered a perfectly healthy baby girl. Since that day, I have chosen to devote my life to Christ and where He calls me, I go. I can't listen to this song without bursting into tears. He is so powerful and good. He is where the joy is.

I haven’t cried this hard for an entertainer in years. Mandisa, thank you for the courage to stay upbeat and brave during my diagnosis and surgeries for cancer. You were my inspiration to keep going when it was difficult.

Beautiful makeup hair done up. She was extremely kind...it was only about 6 months after the song Good morning was released. She was so humble....This makes me so very sad..whatever the cause of death was, it is truly heartbreaking......her music tocuhed millions of lives. ❤️

I was in my car earlier today listening to K-Love and I learned of Mandisa's passing. I saw her in concert several years ago at the Bellevue Christian Center in Bellevue, Nebraska and the song Overcomer is my all-time favorite. This song has really helped me through some dark times and I am so grateful to God and the world was truly blessed to have had the honor of listening to Mandisa's music and her beautiful voice. Rest in Heaven, Mandisa. May God wrap his arms around your family and friends and give them peace. You were truly a blessing to us all.

For those who beleive she took her life. It is a lie from the pit of hell. The devil wants to be told so they would give her a bad reputation. God knows the number of days we will live on this earth. Mandisa was simply taken home early. And she overcame her struggles through the power of Jesus Christ. "By his stripes we are healed". Her song overcomer, was my first favorite song ever. The police said it was suspicious take that with a grain of salt it could of been suicide but it also could of been murder. I haven’t really looked much up since she died besides that one police report but as far as I know it’s still in the dark of what the cause was.

I watched the video. I guess she fell. She must have hit her head. Her dad said she was unable to get to her phone to call for help as she was on the opposite side of the bed, if she was even able to get up at all. So sad and gone way too early, but with her Savior Jesus Christ 💟 ✝️ 💟 ✝️ 💟

"When I sat by that hospital bed, You were worthy". This song has literally come into my life the hour I needed it most. My wife Melanie of 5 1/2 years was killed 6 months ago after shots were fired at our home, one of which struck her while she was reading a bedtime Bible story to our 6-month-old. I now find myself a single father with two daughters (1 & 2 1/2 years old) at the age of 26. But despite the immense pain/loss I feel, I know God is good, faithful and worthy to be praised; even when I don't understand it. So instead of cursing or blaming Him, I choose to be like Job, saying "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord". This song is beautifully written and a wonderful reminder to never stop singing His praise! I attended a fellowship and met a famous person (if you're curious, you can look up Rainey Holt Qualley on the internet). Despite the fact that I had next to nothing to my name, she put me in touch with a firm that turned out to be pivotal. I owe it to God and to this woman to express my gratitude. I'd want everyone here to help me show my appreciation to her. I talk about her often and at every available occasion. I've heard about destiny assistants before, but I never imagined God would send me one of his own. If you'd want to thank her, you may reach her at trhq - portfolio . id . Now I can say with pride that I run a foundation that assists children in institutional care. When I considered potential uses for the money I am making, it was the first thing that sprang to me. The best people leave us too soon. I just found out today that someone I know passed away at only 53. Mandisa was a joy. May she rest well.
When I had a stroke and going through physical therapy to be able to walk again I had this song on all the time. I needed the encouragement to keep going to do everything I could to keep going and not quit. I had to work hard to be able to walk again. Before I would get to physical therapy I would pray that God would give me the strength to work harder then I’ve ever worked in my life. And eventually I was able to walk again. I’m able to walk now. Then a few years later I got a phone call informing me that I had cancer. When I found out that they had the right diagnosis and the right person my thought was, OK God, how do we survive this together? In June I will be cancer free for 5 years. I had Burketts Lymphoma. After my 1st round of chemotherapy I had sepsis. I’ve survived a stroke, sepsis and cancer, all by the grace of God.

My heart broke when I found out that you passed away. This was one of my favorite christian songs that I would play for my mom who was battling Ovarian cancer at the time. This girl helped me overcome stage 4 stomach cancer. My chances were 5 to 10% of making it. Chemo and radiation treatments were unbearable and I went from 143 pounds to a triple 000.. at the unhealthy weight of 79 pounds. Man was I in pain. But I made this far. Hopefully the signet cells are gone and if does..I'm living my best life right now. Thank you for this beautiful, heartfelt reminder. 😘⚘💕

I felt a foreboding dread and uneasy feeling all day on Thursday the 18th that i couldn't understand and now I know why, I could just sense something was wrong and I knew someone passed away and it was someone I'm familiar with and I was just waiting to find out who, did anyone else feel this too just before finding out?
My cousin was run over by a dirt bike 6 years ago when he was 12. He had to go to the hospital for almost a year, and had to get a surgery done that no one under that circumstance had survived. They had to take out some of his organs and replace one in the back. I think he lost about 60% of his blood, and his heart stopped 2 or 3 times. He finally got out of the hospital and is doing great today!! He has a beautiful girlfriend, he's graduating this year, and just got a half baby brother☺️. God is AMAZING!!! Praise the Lord for healing my cousin!!!!!!

Amazing story. If you think about it though, we are all overcomer's. As long as we don't bow down to the desires of the flesh, we can do God's work. Jesus stated to us (I'm paraphrasing), in the bible not to fret for when the world hates us it won't have been the first time. The world hated Jesus long before. We can take comfort when we pick up the cross daily and follow the Lord that he will be there for us not matter what.

My wife of 36 years was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the Spring of 2022. After 7 chemotherapy sessions and a hysterotomy she is now in remission. I believe that Yahweh God uses physicians to heal because He has given them the intellect to perform such procedures.

I beat Covid after 5 weeks of being so sick I couldn’t move. But I have a eye disease not the the Covid eye, I have vertigo and tinnitus, I have facial palsy and haven’t gotten my taste or smell back. But I’m still fighting with everything in me. I can’t walk right, see, hear, smile, taste, smell and I get confused but I will not give up a single part of me! I listen to this song every day, literally.
