just a quick pointer mate its best to clean the body first start at the roof and work your way down then do the door boot apertures... less risk of any scratches then to the body ;)
You gotta wash your car in the garage! That’s what I do so you don’t have to worry about the sun drying soap and water onto the paint and the weather isn’t a factor. You just have to be careful when rinsing the car so you’re not spraying everything in your garage. Washed my car many times at night as well, just flick that light switch on and play some tunes. Your car stays that much cleaner from not having to get back in it to move it as well. How I keep my Nismo Z33 clean!
There are cheap foglight ducts on eBay. Z1 has quality unpainted ones for double the price, and ionicdynamics and specialtyz have carbon fiber ones that won't need paint. Zcentre.co.uk has a lot of those hard to find trim pieces.
I have spent 4000 in the past 12 months on paint and panel. The bonnet and hatch were painted a year back because they were prioritised. Hope this helps your friend.

What color code is that black? Has some flakes to it right? My 95 is KH3 black. Much prefer that flake though. It’s purrrty 😍
732 is the paint code. It is nice. Nissan have a few nice greys and blacks. My old Z was KAV, and I like the KAR code also.
