- Intake! S1E14 - How not to install front upper camber arms
Today on Intake! we try to install upper camber arms on the front of the z32 and discover a lot of seized nuts. We also decide to lower the rear of the car and get it ready for its suspension set up and paint job.
Grab a beer or six, kick your feet up and enjoy Episode 13 of Intake! while we install a some sick lowness on our Z32, sink some beers and take delivery of our JDM owners manual. Produced in conjunction with Forever Digital, join us as I smash out the build on Project Z!
We are on facebook, click below to stay up to date with whats happening in the world of Intake!

I think getting an impact gun would make working on your Z32 about 10x easier
Agreed
Cracking open a can of JDM beer is *ONLY* way to start the episode.
Probably the first quality RUclips video of camber arms installation for the Z32, keep up the work brother!
Cheers for the mention mate. Good to see you back working on the Z32.
No shame in switching up the projects, don’t need to break anything! Love the continued progress and videos, keep up the good work!!
Can’t beat waking up to see an upload from Intake. Keep em coming!
I see a full SPL suspension setup in your future. Keep it up! Can’t wait for the next video mate.
It's been far too long! Glad you're back with another video
Yeah, I remember when I did my front camber arms. Can be a pain in the arse. The rears are much easier if you're doing them as well. I suggest also installing some front adjustable tension rods.
Already have tein adjustable front rorsion rods in place!
Glad you're back mate
love the way you hold can
Yo stivva, I’m getting a TTZ32 soon! Your channel definitely keeps me interested in them and i love watching every video. The channel deserves more views
Share us around. The only reason we make these videos is so people will watch them.
If your jack pole is removable from the jack, I would suggest sliding that over your socket wrench and using as a breaker bar. You'd get a lot more leverage.
Finally 🔥🔥 love the video and channel keep it up!!!!
Adjustable tension rods are needed when adding the upper arms and lowering the Z. I just did this job on my Z. I recommend the adjustable rear arm too if you want proper rear camber alignment also.
Gday Brother, our Z has a set of tein adjustable torsion rods on board already. Just missing the rear arms at the minute.
ozzie way of fixin shit love it
Great video once again brother! Keep up the content.
Cheers Brother! Keep up the great comments
MAAAATE i miss your channel and the Z project x(

Hi mate, do you know a place in Melbourne where i can convert my auto 300ZXTT to manual?
bout f#@n time bro, man i was in pain watching you try take those bolts out lol. oh and go the warriors!!! rabbitohs suck lol
That's not what the number of premierships say. Or the number of members, current ladder rankings, sweet Jersey colours.... Need I say more?
I have a photo of me in a warriors Jersey, from when I played for local team.
Drinking JDM beers as usual. Did you switch from Saporo to Asahi?
For the time being Brother...
I love your memes
Ah the Z32 life. I feel ya man
It's not all bad
14th built jspec is what I have
2 months of no videos. Ive been so damn bored working on my own damn z haha better to watch others haha
Sorry Brother, Ben has been away working on real television shows. Lucky bugger spent a month touring Western Australia and getting paid for it!
@18:45 those aren't the cheaper ones those are top-of-the-line from the 90s I had them on my first 300ZX they are tiens and they work f****** awesome they don't have a separate height adjustment like new school coilovers do that right there is the old school design but it does not make it any shittier those were fuckingawesome coilovers
Yeah, they certainly were top of the range. But they are very basic these days, but still do a fantastic job. And the helper spring keeps the ride super firm no matter how low we go.
You should try some mexican beers
I have some in my fridge at the moment. If I do a Baja build, the cevezas will be flowing
Ba ha ha aha first ten seconds .....FUCKK ... gold
Time for air tools mate!!
Damn 300zx looks like a complicated car to work on , they still mad tho
I think I just make it look hard!
Imperial size? You mean 'Merican HAHAHA??
Yep, from. Now on, 3/8th is called merican sizes
Someone needs to invest in a compressor and air tools to make their life easier 😉
We have a compressor. Maybe, some air tools are on the cards. Especially, if we get a new garage!
@@Intaketv good man !!! That will save a fuck load of hardship for you long-term. Great vids 👍 watching in Ireland
+Intake! Cordless impact guns are so good these days making air tools unnecessary for most garage jobs. I say you should invest in one!
SolitudeMG yeah I just recently swapped from using a compressor to everything battery. Would recommend going battery powered over buying air tools for sure!!
@@willnewing4240 never thought of lithium powered tools 🤪 good call
PLEASE!!!! use METRIC TOOLS!! on japanese cars.. you wreck al the bolt heads this way...
Stopping at 7:44 can't for the life of me think of why you'r e pulling the bracket off instead of just undoing the horizontal bolt that hold the arm in? I guess I'll wait and see.
Back at 12:33, still got me fucked, but I've dropped camber on youtube. I also raised the ride height on a skyline... madness.
It's memes
The bolt won't slide out unless the bracket is removed. It is either a design flaw or in backwards. It gets halfway out and hits the wheel well. The whole bracket has to be fucked right off.
Yeah right, that's unlike a 300zx to be a pain like that isn't it
