I know some references from Moana in The Sims 4 Island Living: 1- This one is obvious, but in the public bathrooms you can find a picture of Moana and Maui (There's also two sims in Sulani that look a lot like they) 2- The green Heart of Sulani is an obvious reference to the Heart of Te Fiti 3- If the Mua Pel'am beach is clean and you use a boat there, you'll see some flowers coming from your boat, just like in the end of the movie 4- One of the towel's patterns look a lot like Te Ka 5- One of the pictures that your sim takes underwater look a lot like one of the posters of the movie

Also in Get To Work in Detective career, if you talk to chief sometimes they will mention about our sims comes from Sunset Valley. 3. In Vampire pack, one of the trait for the lot mentioning about upside down. That is perhaps referencing to "Stranger Things". That's all the references that I can remember.
What I do is just add it as a custom mod so in S-pop or any other category, you can use it and sims 3 music comes up (remember it has to be mp3, this is of course assuming you don't know that then I'm just here preaching lol)

I really needed this video (yeah, I know that it's 2 years old). I've seen so much hate on TS4 recently, so this felt like a fresh breeze when I got to see all these fun little details, some of which I hadn't noticed myself. It really shows that the developers like this game, they don't just do it for the pay-check.
