There’s that one halloween segment of the Simpsons (which is itself a Twilight Zone parody) which I feel perfectly encompasses the Jim Pickens experience, where Bart develops godly powers and, being a trouble-making ten year old, essentially unleashes vaguely whimsical hell on the residents of Springfield who spend all their time desperately trying to keep him placated whilst pretending they’re also having the time of their lives. “And as always every time something like this happens it’s *good* that Jim did that! And if you don't keep your mini sheep and goats in an enclosure, they will leap and gambol as far from your house as they can, then they'll run away from home when they almost starve

The not-eating issue is a known bug. By leaving the lot and going elsewhere you basically fixed it. Either travel or go to manage worlds. It's annoying but it was reported by people who got Early Access so the team know.
So glad to see this. Every pack I always look forward to seeing what Kevin does to ruin it.
Oh also, I know that 'caring for animals' isn't Kevin's play style but if the sheep and goat and 'very happy' the wool and milk will be worth more. Sometimes caring for things is better for profit.
Nectar is the real money maker of this pack though - if you age it even poor quality bottles are worth $1000+. Just imagine what having multiple prisoners making nectar would be like...

Honestly even just having a huge paddock of prairie grass would pay better than the mini goats and sheep. I have like 20 or 30 patches and during the daily harvest I'll get sooo many bottles of nectar, fruits, vegetables, manure, etc. It's actually kinda silly lol

It's amazing to see how much you struggle with the most basic things when playing the Sims 2, but you have mastered the art of Picken's survival in the Sims 4
romancing a Sim to take their horse, through a party so others take care of the ranch, start a cult, so they take care of the house, horse smuggling...a lot of arsing around
Tbf Sims 4 is wayyy easier than the previous sim games, from what I've heard and watched
As someone that has only played Sims 4, I can still confirm that it is absurdly easy.
Doing a single parent in Sims 2 is hell at times
Same in 1 ( no days off for your Sims so you could end up with a downward spiral)
Sims 3 is easy
Sims 4 is the same

I love how Jim's first instinct in seeing a horse is to do a full-on Lady Godiva stunt, and to do a whole elderly version of Brokeback mountain just to get another horse already killed me laughing.

I once worked at a warehouse that has a massive freezer. Within said freezer are a series of racks that - as they were built against the wall - formed a small-sort-of-passage behind which a person might possibly _squeeze_ but not _actually_ provide enough space to adequately maintain or clean, therefore no one *ever* did ... all being said - as many stories go - management pissed me off significantly enough to quit; so I (undercover) unloaded in that specific location and left.
To my knowledge, that section of the freezer still smells like sh*t.
I love that Kevin did his regular scheme or marrying/moving in with a sims to get something from their household, but here they could get it without even having to live with that person! Brilliant

You're watching the wrong sim youtubers. Have you heard of Satchonsims? Pixalade? Or Simyin? Of course, there are more out there, but these are the ones I can think of on the top of my head. I wouldn't really trust any game changer to give an honest review.
Ngl if the pack was worth is definitely depending more on your own play style. If u liked cottage living you will rlly like this pack but if gameplay like that bores you than i definitely don't recommended. I was disappointed about the competition but ea is ea,and I still think it'd a pretty good pack but definitely not for everyone lol. I do recommend getting it from cdkeys lol sorry for the ramble :)
@@HalfLifeGoose I do like cottage living, but cottage living has animals and farming. Horse ranch has horses and brewing one drink. The variety seems... Underwhelming. Especially considering that not all sims are going to have horses.

It only gives the ‘sheer’ and ‘milk’ options when you have cottage life (or whatever that one farm expansion is called) so you can use the wool and goat milk to use in production like the other wools and milks from cows and lamas/alpacas. Without that pack we only have the option to sheer and milk for simoleons. Also you can get a maximum of 45 simoleons out of it if they’re super super happy

FUN CURSED FACT: i was playing a household w/ horses but then when i sent my sim to go and pet the new horse i had adopted, my current horse started standing on 2 legs and walking like a human. I had to clip it because later on my sim died to a fire.
