Father Winter's baby can also see the monster under the bed, even as an adult. It doesn't scare them, though.
Cool! I didn't know that.
wowowoowow really??😮
@@liona6770 Hej
I love that the moodlet you get when your Sim drinks the Beetle Juice three times is a playful moodlet that reads "It's Showtime!" It's honestly one of my favorite deaths in the game.
In city living if you eat curry and play basketball you get the hot like curry icon and become extremely good at it. The icon has a jersey number of 30 and is a reference to steph curry
👀
Serious?
The Baby Ariel sim being an immortal teenager that never ages gets funnier each passing year, irl she’s currently 22 according to Google
As a long time player whenever I see these kind of videos from other creators I almost always know all those little "unknown secrets" but whenever you post these, I find myself actually learning a few things 😂 I didn't know the bus stop in Henford was usable or about the mushroom seat, Batuu droid or the 4th spectre 😅
Fun fact: Sims, who were members of the Secret Society after graduating are still able to see those ghosts :)
About fact 35: the sim must be a spellcaster in order to get the stronger bloodline trait. If the sim with the bloodline trait isn't a spellcaster and has a baby with a non-spellcaster sim, the bloodline trait will actually weaken.
Fact 10 uses a part in the cuddle animation. So it isn't exclusive to high-level politicians.
Fun fact about 15: the reason why the gold bar sells for 6,006 Simoleons is because these numbers upside down spell out poop. It was said in one of the Cats and Dogs developer livestreams.
When I was taking a look into the fact 20 years ago, I found out that it even ages up vampires. It won't cause their death though, but I made Vlad into an elder though. It won't work on ghosts.
Additional fun fact about 26: having your sim die there while there are sharks or piranhas in there will actually feed the fishes.
Fact 30: revealing someone's mermaid status will allow you to see mermaids being mermaids while playing with the household. So discover a mermaid and then you'll see mermaids swimming. Becoming a mermaid also helps.
Overall, a great video. I didn't know about mushroom chairs, but they make a nice reference to Makin' Magic for me.
Father Winter's baby gets kind of a raw deal when it comes to having a special heritage, huh? The kid should at least be able to always successfully give gifts! The kid playing with the fish pond was quite cute, though -- and it was cool to see the Mother Plant's gifts in action!
Abi, have you learned how to know a baby's gender by feeling the belly of a pregnant woman in med school yet? 😂 Great video! ❤️
Ultrasounds would be thrown away if we could do that! 😂
And thank you!
@@onlyabidoang I mean Ultrasound is used for more things then just determine a Babys Gender
I know
@@TheRadioknight hes in med school i think, so that means he should and probably does know that 😅
@@TheRadioknight everyone knows that lol
Oh my gosh Abi number 13! You just saved everyone's dinner time with sims so they can finally sit together. 😂 I never even noticed this, I usually just take the meal put it in the table I want them to eat together at then force them to not leave and go to another table. 😂😂
I was today year’s old when I learned this.
Fun fact, the sweater curse is actually a reference to a real life superstition in the fiber art community. If you gift a knit or crochet sweater to your partner before you are married, you are destined to break up. At least that's how the curse goes
The reason why im still caught up with the sims is because of you so i thank you
I think you can also use the information gained from listening to bugged sims to blackmail them 😂 also you can blackmail sims after getting a certain wish from the romantic garden stuff pack
Additionally, if you add a unique Batuu character like Kylo or Rey to your household, you will permanently break the Batuu questline as these characters are not replaced like other special NPCs (such as Father Winter or Agnes Crumplebottom) are. They will be permanently removed from Batuu in that save and you won't be able to complete any assignments involving them.
I don't know if those things are well know or already was spoken/talked about, but here's some stuff that I know about pack, cross-pack and miscellaneous features:
Seasons - you can create a proper Halloween holiday (as it is not in the calendar by default), traditions like "spooky spirit", "trick or treat", "mischief spirit" and "use fantasy" are all there (my game is in portuguese, so idk how it's actually written in english), you just have to create the holiday. And it has cross-pack feature with the "spooky stuff", meaning that some traditions will be completed if you carve a pumpkin and get candy from that candy bowl item (also it's a great holiday to thrown a costume party also from the spooky stuff pack).
City living - with the "street vendor table" item, children can sell stuff in there like any sim, so you can sell cakes and baked goods. If you have the "backyard stuff pack" you can even sell the lemonade made in that item by dragging the glasses to your inventory and putting them on the street vendor table's inventory (not as convenient as that "little bakers" table from sims 3 ambitions or the lemonade stand from sims 2 open for business, I know... But you can "pretty much" do the same if you really liked those items). Also: this table is featured in other packs like eco lifestyle and jungle adventure, so I think it's just as usable
Discover University - You can Mentor sims to get some extra cash even if you're not enrroled in any university by clicking in the selectable buildings of the campus (you must have enough skill level to Mentor in something)
I've known about Patchy's one ever since Seasons first released. I'm shocked how many people never knew about this!
Peoples say the game is boring, but when you think about it there's actually a lot of features and things you can do. It's just that peoples usually play a more normal and realistic gameplay and don't bother with the silly things.
Tiny trivia time. The alien channel sitcom is a near 1-to-1 analogue of the RL 90s sitcom "Married With Children".
2:34 that dead body crime scene
your sim die: THAT'S NOT MY POSE
Did you know that Kits are (technically) part of Stuff Packs? If you look in your game files, they start at SP19 (Bust the Dust) and continue from there.
Is that the reason why stuff pack instantly ended like the last stuff pack is 2 year ago I think?
@@Lemony123 could be. But I don't like the idea of it. It only contains either cas or build items and unlike stuff pack which we get exclusive item that works differently (like laundering, knitting, icecream maker etc). I prefer stuff pack honestly.. sometimes it even has small new features other than items
@@alvinjy4860 Pretty much agree. You could say it feels like a downgrade.
This is so sad, I’ve been playing for YEARS and didn’t know like 75% of these 😩
There is a little cross-pack content in Werewolves.
There is some lore between werewolves, vampires and spellcasters. Because of that, a new wand for spellcasters can be found in debug mode (I don't know if you can find it with normal gameplay)
You can find it after exploring the tunnels
@@jincos--stories7501 Ooh, thanks ^^
Yes, to a part 2. I would also love to see a video showing all the hidden Easter eggs from other games and movies that the Sims team sneaks in, I doubt I've even found half of them. 🥚👀
Emily Dammit is the human version of the lochness monster shown swimming. 1:32
I... officially obtained... all of the expansion packs in Sims 4, and I love this video! I needed it.
😂😂
Good Job! I’m close but I doubt I buy more
I knew a lot of these but, once again, you've taught me many things I did not know!! Thanks for continuing to make this kind of video 😊
i love how u used doctor strange for the realm of magic one 💀💀💀
Thank you for making this, Abi! Especially since you are working so hard in med school. We appreciate you!!
Spell caster with any of the blood line traits don't need to have a good friendship with the sages for them to teach them new spells and potions.
If a spell caster have an alien baby with an alien, then, when he ages up to teen, he CAN become spell caster. Aliens with both the alien abilities and being spell casters.
This is a great video Abi! I didn’t know most of these. Thank you!
I love these videos a lot! thanks for all the new tips & info, I'll probably rewatch all the different ones you've done so I can remember what pack has what hidden tricks
Absolutely love your videos, I’m always learning something new and they’re always entertaining, keep up the amazing work ☺️
I really appreciate videos like this! Anything that might help make gameplay better (which is desperately needed). My only thing is for videos like this time stamps are great so that we can re-visit the video to remind ourselves of certain things (well for people like me). However, happy to just get videos like this. Thank you for your time and sharing
He hit the Carlton at 4:22😆😆
Dang sure did, 😂😂😂
Amazing video as always, Abi! Your videos are one of the only ones where I actually learn something new about the sims most of the time :D
Also I haven't used the actual knitting skill basically since it came out, so I didn' tknow about the Lil' Grim interaction with the actual Grim and it's ADORABLE :3
Interesting video! I really enjoy your content. I’d like a part 2. Keep up the good work :)
Excellent list!!! Longtime player and I didn't know so many.
Wow so much has been added! Thanks for sharing man!
Thanks you the vid!! I learned so much new information!!
I love these videos!!! Defs subbed 🥰🙂🥰🙂
you’re my fave sim creator 😊
14:14 i love how he randomly started singing
Sims 4 finally feels like the Sims again!
I didn't know ANY of that stuff from Get Together! That's so cool!
nice, i love seeing your vids! ❤
You make amazing sims games videos on your channel I loving it 90/10
wow after all these years as a veteran player i still learned new stuff! thanks
Another neat crosspack feature is if you have both Vampires and Werewolves you can sometimes receive the option to travel to Forgotten Hollow by exploring the secret underground tunnels in Moonwood Mill
There is that unusable bat cave next to Fledermaus Bend in Forgotten Hollow
@@grantpotter8289 I always wish that cave was useable, maybe even in an update at some point. Would be pretty cool
another great vid!! 💗
I love these videos because Its fun to say I knew that, and or I didn't know that gotta try.
Keren bang, jarang nemu channel indo yg into the sims
always have something new to learn , thank
This is awesome, thank u.
Sometimes I forget how to play with my packs. This video is awesome to remember stuff
Yo thanks for this dude 🙏🏾
Ah yes, being experienced doctor means have built in ultrasound
I got that mermaid expansion pack thingy since released and I still haven't played around it. 😂 I have never even visited the map nor i have seen a mermaid ever hahahha
Poop in the pants im dying 😭
English nya bagus bang , jarang² juga ada orang indo bahas Sims, atau gua nya yang kurang jelajah gatau dah, intinya good luck kedepannya bg
As someone who has played this game since it came out and has over 5k hours on it this is an amazing video! There was genuinely some many things I didn’t know ❤
I feel like there are so many of these that I haven't done because I spend so much time just trying to keep my Sims alive and happy 😂 Can't do anything at night for example because my Sims have to sleep ready for work! And heaven forbid I choose to play as a farmer! Realistically, getting through all the animals and plants takes all day!
Yeah, the animals just inhale all of the time and there is no real helping tool for it. I'd wish there was an option to just get them all done at once, like you can do with plants with higher gardening skill.
Try getting seldom sleepy (you will only have to sleep every other night) or playing as a vampire (dark meditate every time it’s available instead of sleeping). I do a lot of skill building and aspiration completing because of these.
@@lylavati They really really do! Especially if you make the mistake like I always do of getting the bugs as well 😂😂 Because they just die if you're not there 24/7!
@@queenkatara7861 That's not a bad shout! I always forget about those reward traits 😂
@@HeidiSholl I never had the bugs. 🙈
I decided to just have chickens, these are quite easy to take care of and if you spent some time (or cheat) and turn them into golden chickens, they make your whole garden perfect. A gardener and a few bee hives are also very useful. Then you just have to harvest yourself. The scarecrow is a pain in the a** tbh. 😂
I don't like that you have to buy so many stables for the larg animals. Seems a bit odd to me.
I have all of them ,thank you for this video
5:33 a warewolf casully running in the background
Love your videosss
12:22
Jadi keinget Daffa perkedel 😂
Kak Abi harusnya tau lah ya, rame di Twitter soalnya 😂
omg i didn't know these opcions, thx
This is golden!
I love these videos ☺️
2:32 dangit Emily, L’ing on dead people
Didn’t realize it was so much!
35 spell casters with any of the blood lines would not be able to reach the last Master in strength (last time I played)
35? what do you mean exactly?
That is likely solved (I say likely since I play with some mods, so might be a bug solved in a random mod I have). I'm currently playing someone with an ancient bloodline and she's the highest level.
@@recordtapesbackward 35 on the video
@@Melindrea so it’s likely your mods fixed it? Lmao
Dine out is still a buggy mess and it’s been years, so it’s totally possible
When the sim blew on the shell, my dog got up and started searching for the source of the sound.
The sims creators are geniuses. The mushroom soup letting you “really listen” to the birds 😂😂
This game has lots of cool things. Sad thing is that I'm too busy recreating my boring life in the game so I missed a lot of these cool things, lol.
Love the little awkward ghost guy :')
I hear another 10 things that are new in Growing together in development
35. love all of the sims, such a wonderful easter egg
The yellow ghosts are rare? 😮 Please tell my haunted house, because they are around every other day.
How do these other fears appear? 😅 Is there some sort of style in gameplay or traits or something that influences them?
My Sims in every savegame only have "Fear of Unfulfilled Dreams" and it is a bit annoying.
No, all ghosts look the same in sims 4, only difference being minor details and animations. All ghosts colours are simply their emotions
@@ember9361 I meant the ghosts he mentioned being rare in a haunted house. It is point 44 at 13:48 ... Well, apparently they are called "specters", I did not know that. 😅
I can't wait for you to make a video when the Growing Together pack actually comes out 🙂
Edited: Also I think I'm too early 😂
I had no idea about the Sulani festivals.
Hey, I was wondering if any of you has this problem where after joining secret society from University you won't get random sprites visits like back then when the pack was first released. I don't know if it's because of a mod or Maxis intencionally removed it, and wanted to know if anyone else has this problem
Dammit Emi-
No! Not that monster Emily but ANNOYING Emily
You should do a vid on all the careers sims 4 comes with
The sweater curse is in the Sims! I can't believe it.
6:30 That's a good rhyme
How about Scouts and other after-school activities from Seasons
15:09 WAIT A MINUTE, SWEETHOME ALABAMA???
Baby Ariel was a celebrity back when tiktok was called musically
14:26 not the little mermaid reference lmaoooo
1:32 Damnit, Emily!
Could it be the loch ness monster is called Emily because of your videos?
Huh I really need to get back to Sulani I feel like
I mean, from all the contenta there are, it's easy to miss some details 😅
Another really cool fact is when your sim is pregnant, if you’d like your sim to have a baby girl get your sim to eat strawberries throughout the pregnancy and your sim will give birth to a girl!
I think dina the specter is definitely a reference to tina from bobs burgers
Hey abi! I noticed you changed your bio to 23 years old. Sorry if it’s late, but happy birthday!!
Thank you very much! I don't think that anyone would read my bio lol
@@onlyabidoang you’re welcome! It shows up when I click on your channel so I see it immediately
can you make tutorial how to make townies stop make new npc ? i hate when see a new npc, when i get travel a new town
Wow, so many things I didn't know... How did you find out about all of this? 😅
Omg i've been playing this game wrong for the last ten years
the are a lot of cool features in the game, but so often they're either broken and dont work or so rare they're basically nonexistent ( still cool tho
For a very long time I missed most of these secrets because I insisted on trying to play the game properly. After so many years of patches and updates to my hardware I eventually resigned to the fact that the game is just broken and it's a lot more fun if you cheat.
The old games got boring if you cheated because they'd be too easy but Sims 4 is easy without them. Take as many short cuts as you like, it's your game so it's not really "cheating"!
