I want to see where my peep sight is but since getting one installed 2-3 days ago my shots have been more consistent I use a 3D deer target for my practice I usually have been starting practice in April for my archery but I started late to middle February this year for my offseason archery practice
If you lower your peep, your point of aim goes down. The opposite is true for moving it up. However, if you don't have a tube, your peep sight will be rotated if you move it. The rotation in which it rotates depends on the direction that your bow string is twisted.
I never held a compound bow in my life and I am confused when you say looking through the peep sight. Is the back peep sight should be inside front sight? Is it like the rifle way of looking at the sight with the front sight inside the peep hole? I figured the front sight should be inside the peep hole but when I do this, the string is about 6” behind my face and I’m afraid I get slapped when I release the string…
Yeah, hopefully you've gotten your answer by now that the draw length is too long. I take the wingspan from middle finger tip to the other, divide by 2.5 and that should get you pretty close and hopefully the peep will line up better or able to be adjusted to line up.
I'm new...shooting for about 2-3 weeks now. Got my draw length and weight right but I still can't get that peep to line up with me site. It's almost like I have to exaggerate leaning my head way over to get peep even close.
I have the same problem. Read somewhere that new bow strings stretch sometimes and need to be adjusted so the peep sight opens up right. I don't think you're doing anything wrong. You should be able to take it to any archery shop to get it re adjusted. I'm doing that tomorrow.
Yes. The sight is the bar that holds the scope. The scope is the housing that holds your up pin for targeting. On many higher end units, sights and scopes can be swapped out with diff brands, models etc.
Screw the peep sight, anchor sight by archery innovations is the best tool to put on your bow period! You dont have to worry about low light and your not compromising the strength of your bow string.
yes best yet on explaining a peep sight I have come across.
So what happens when you are using a single pin adjustable sight, should it always stay aligned perfect with your peep?
thanks for perfect peep sight tutorial really hepfull :)
Thank you that information really helped me out

Sounds like your draw length is about 6 inches too long 🤣

I'm new. I had no clue what that was. I missed every single shot...
What scope? Does he mean the circular sight housing?
Yes. The sight is the bar that holds the scope. The scope is the housing that holds your up pin for targeting. On many higher end units, sights and scopes can be swapped out with diff brands, models etc.
muy bien explicado
Are those targets just wood?
That's what I was wondering. Sounded like it.
what size is that housing
It's the large guard for Spot Hogg, which is 2 3/8 inches.
I like a 3 way peep sighy
