Okay here I go! I just received your books and am devouring them😀I visited the bariatric surgeon two weeks ago but decided that why not just see if I can do the maintenance part first. THEN I found you on RUclips! Your approach makes Soooo much more sense! I’ve done keto so I am sure this is my answer 🙏🥰thanks for sharing your knowledge! And yes running the Colorado River near my home is a bucket list dream!
It does work. When I lost the last of my weight and went from 150 to 131, I was hiking the Snake River Canyon Rim Trail back and forth to Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls Idaho daily for 3-4 months from March to June. I started hiking a grade that was a mile up and aile down, and eventually hiked the 12-16 mile round trip from my house in those four months. It took 6-8 hours a day at a comfortable pace, but I also fasted and killed my goal.
Another thing i have been wanting to do is design my "ideal" day and then put it into practice living it as much as possible. There's always stuff that comes up, but i do a lot of things that are optional also that are not in my best interest. As Amanda said, act as if you are already living your best life ...andvsoon you will be. Progress every day
Yes, that's awesome. We all would benefit from envisioning that sort of day. Sure, stuff comes up all the time, but we're far more likely to hit some of those marks if we have a plan
Hi! Excellent video . Your kayaking storyboard reminds me of the powerful meditations from a book I used to read titled Minding the Temple of Your Soul . Have a lovely summer .
Hello, your journey is very interesting..I was watching one of your fasting videos prior, wondering.. how did you keep the fasting lbs off after 16 days and..what did you do to manage continuing losing the weight, thanks so much!
In the 16 day video, I describe the meal approach that I launched into. It's the one meal model I teach on this channel. Take the Three-Day Challenge for a better understanding: eatlikeabear.com/3-day-challenge/

That's my goal for myself: In the future, when my pants are tight, I am not going to wallow in shame and regret. I'm just going to go on vacation. :)

Interesting! I may check that out.
Got to learn to control my mind so I can control other things in my life.
You can do it. Just take it one thought at a time.
