Perkins 3A 152 Crankshaft Rope Seal Replacement

It's important to fit the crankshaft rope seals correctly, otherwise they can easily leak. Here we look at how to do it. This is on a Massey Ferguson 25 tractor that has fitted the Perkins 3 cylinder diesel engine.

Is this the only seal?have an oil leak on my 35,but also looks like play in what I imagine are the shells?

This thing is so stressed it will leak...but use the seal which has the wire that for Ford it will be better
