A re-imagination of Batman in the Victorian era. Batman is a Victorian vigilante who scours the dark streets of Gotham City to find the elusive and infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper. This is considered to be the first Elseworlds story, even though it wasnt branded that way when it was first released.

Anybody who likes this book needs to check out Batman: Nevermore. It’s an Elseworlds 5 issue series by Len Wein and Guy Davis with a Batman in the 1800s meeting up with Edgar Allen Poe. Never been collected.

I'm liking the new series The Kryptonian Age.
I just read this facsimile of the first story, and i think it's better.
I really like the old fashioned art and lettering.
