the word "style" in "pixar style animation" in reference to Beast Wars is doing a LOT of the heavy lifting in that sentence lmao, but man I LOVED that show, i honestly believe that series single handedly revived the series leading to it where it is today.
My favorite ones, were Batman, Superman and Spider-Man: The Animated Series. I'll be getting Batman: The Animated Series for Christmas. I have Superman. My other favorite cartoon was Scooby-Doo: Where Are You, which was from the late 60s. I also have that one as well. X-men was pretty good too. I just watched that one recently.
I miss the 90s, I am 34 and growing up as a kid in the 90s was some of the best times. The nostalgia hits harder the older I get too. I remember watching all these shows back then as a kid! So much nostalgia in this video. After watching, I totally forgot about Mighty Max and Exo Squad which I used to watch every episode and the memories came flooding back once I heard the names again. Also brought back a memory from watching Street Sharks and Swat Kats which were also amazing. Damn, thinking back to them days got me in my feels. Great times!!!!
Would like to honorably mention Biker Mice from Mars… which aired from 93-96 and was inspired by the Ninja Turtles. It was about 3 alien brothers from Mars who looked like anthropomorphic mice, they rode space motorcycles and fought evil alien businessmen. They wore leather vests and chains and were depicted as the fun loving rebels fighting for liberty. Very cool show for its time, I had the action figures of all 3 of the brothers 😂
Naw, reboot was decent but it was not cream of the crop, it got buried and pokemon cards were bigger than the show. Ofc I am just speaking of my neck of the woods.
@@DurellPowell-j9m it was groundbreaking, it was the first completely computer animated show, and the show only got better after it got canceled by ABC and became a Canadinan only, it turned into a completely different show, which normally would be a warning sign to me, but the episodes quit being episodic and they went with a much more darker adult story line which was a million times better than anything in the first season. Also, most of the time the animation in cartoon shows get worse as it continues (compare the first season of the original TMNT to the last season) but ReBoot got better with every episode, the last episodes My Two Bobs (I don't acknowledge The Guardian's Code) is better than most of the stuff made today.
Darkwing Duck, X-Men and Batman The Animated Series those are my top three favorite cartoons from the 90’s right there. Gargoyles and Talespin are right behind at 4 and 5. Batman is at the top of the list though.

I was an adult during the '90's and still enjoyed many of these shows, my favorites being X-Men, Superman: TAS,Darkwing Duck, B:TAS, Spider-Man, the Animated Series, Gargoyles, The Powerpuff Girls, Batman Beyond and Animaniacs
I remember a channel called The Hub always played BTAS and Batman Beyond. Everyday after 4th grade I’d watch all the episodes that I had recorded, those times made Batman my favorite hero ever.
We REALLY need every great show from the 90s to get an Xmen 97 type revival. To see these shows as they should be. With quality art and animation to go with the characters and story.
I wished my favourites past Disney animated series like The Gummie Bears, Darkwing Duck, Mighty Ducks,Wuzzles, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, House of Mouse, Kim Possible and American Dragon Jake Long are onto a complete Blu- Ray (with the entire episodes)at last just like they did for Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and Tangled the animated series. Because deserved to be released onto Blu-Ray at last more than the Disney films while at the same time honor the memories of the actors/actress who passed away.
This was when I grew up, I was born in 1986 but I turned 5 in 1991 and considering most people don't remember anything before their 5th birthday, that means this is my era. My childhood cartoons were Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Beast Wars Transformers, Digimon, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Freakazoid, Animanaics, Rugrats, Doug, Street Sharks, Biker Mice from Mars, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, Reboot, Gargoyles, Timon and Pumbaa, Aladdin, Tazmania, Pinkie and the Brain, Teeny Toons, Batman Beyond, Bucky O'Hare, Sonic the Hedgehog, and etc.
Great choices of awesome cartoons of the 90s. Love it,. My favorites from the 90s era are Batman, Spider-man, X-men, Superman the animated series, Captain Planes, Fantastic 4 I also really wish & hope that Disney & Marvel would already start production of Spider0man 98 already. Even the voice actor of Spider-man himself & the writer expressed out loud numerous times that they love to come back to the series, & I really hope they'll answer the questions that were never answered in the finale, but also about the cameo of Peter & MJ together in the finale of X-Men 97. I honestly believe that this series also deserves an Emmy award, & I believe it will be as great as X-Men 97 was in both the stories, & animation.
1994 might have been the best year for superhero cartoons ever. In one Saturday I could watch with none of these in the same time slot - TMNT, Batman, X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The Tick, and Phantom 2040. But my personal favorite for the decade was Beast Wars.
ill never forget the episodes of Darkwing when they jumped into the birthday cake and it was a portal to the Negaverse, also when Goslin went into the future from quackerjacks spintop device and Darkwing became like a hardcore batman villian type with a tank.
Batman TAS, X-Men, Darkwing Duck, Recess, Doug, Rugrats, Street Sharks, Arthur, Pokémon, Digimon, Hey Arnold, Samurai Jack, Gargoyles, SWAT Kats, Spiderman TAS, Ahhh Real Monsters, Dexters Lab, PowerPuff Girls, Johnny Bravo just to name a few!
The 90s were the best ever in human history everything was perfect. I loved watching Cartoon Network in the 90s, Fox Kids and Nickelodeon. Blessed to have lived through the best era
Defenders of the Realm is right here on RUclips. Same place I watch a lot of harder to find animated greats... including Biker Mice From Mars from the 90s.
It is funny how in SE Europe we got 80s cartoons in 90s. We got 90s cartoons as well, but Ninja Turtles, He Man, Transformers, were huge hits when I started to watch cartoons. We got them with 4-5 years of delay. I had all He Man episodes on vhs 😂. What I remember as a funny case are toys, which we would get for shows probably airing in US at that time, and then we would few years later get cartoons and understood what they are 😂😂😂. X-man and Batman animated shows first episodes came in late 90s and early 2000s. My kids now watch exactly same cartoons, as any kids in US or elsewhere, maybe with few months delay at max.
Take everything from me take my codm or my raid shadow legends games but you never take away my greatest memories during the mid-80s and early 90s cartoons.
Mainframe Studios basically pioneered and invented the 3d modeling that was used in both Beast Wars and ReBoot, as they literally had to bring multiple types of technology, and have them work together, just to create these shows
Bobbys world was 🔥. It was the reason me and several others had a big wheel. Favorite line i stil remember til this day at 35 yrs young is "Uncle Ted, Uncle Ted how are you making bubbles underwater" 😂😂😂
X-Men: The Animated Series, Beast Wars, Spider Man: The Animated Series, and Power Rangers (Live Action) were my go to shows from the 90's. This is an amazing video for 90's cartoon nostalgia.

Great video! Brought back so many memories. 2000s list next!
As a 00s kid, lowkey kinda jealous how many greats the 90s kids got. DVDs of the Batman series made up for it though
Glad to see mighty max get more love
Super underrated 90s cartoon
@calvinjordaniii1854 I remember crash dummies had a short run as a cartoon as well as t Rex
Variant.. this is why I love y'all
We REALLY need every great show from the 90s to get an Xmen 97 type revival.
Batman the Animated Series was the greatest 90’s show. And Batman Beyond is excellent and extremely underrated
You don't remember any cartoons from 88 or 89? I was born in 86 too and still remember watching late 80's shows.
@g6686not yes I watch a couple of them but it was in 1998-1999. I didn't have cable until then, so it was Fox and ABC.
@@SupermanLastSonofKrypton oh I see.
@@g6686not no problem
I'm so blessed 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 that I grew up in the 1990s and it was the greatest childhood of my life 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
I remember loving the Beetlejuice cartoon 👍
The Pirates of Dark Water was missed on this list!
Savage dragon, double dragon, street fighter, king Arthur and the knights if justice
I just rewatched the mortal kombat show! It's in here somewhere.
ill never forget the episodes of Darkwing when they jumped into the birthday cake and it was a portal to the Negaverse, also when Goslin went into the future from quackerjacks spintop device and Darkwing became like a hardcore batman villian type with a tank.
Batman TAS, X-Men, Darkwing Duck, Recess, Doug, Rugrats, Street Sharks, Arthur, Pokémon, Digimon, Hey Arnold, Samurai Jack, Gargoyles, SWAT Kats, Spiderman TAS, Ahhh Real Monsters, Dexters Lab, PowerPuff Girls, Johnny Bravo just to name a few!
Nice list, but there is one problem; Samurai Jack premiered in 2001
Can you do history of Alfred Pennyworth, Batwing, Flame Bird, Batwoman, Azrael, Signal(Duke Thomas), Bluebird, Stephanie Brown and Carrie Kelly?
This has been the sweetest nostalgia 😊😊😊🥰
The Spider-Man animated series made Spidey my favorite superhero for decades. I also really miss watching Freakazoid.
Mutant League, Swat Kats, and Street Sharks are a few deep cuts for me..
The 90s were the best ever in human history everything was perfect. I loved watching Cartoon Network in the 90s, Fox Kids and Nickelodeon. Blessed to have lived through the best era
Everything was peak, music, movies, video games, sit coms , I miss the 90's
It's not Victor "Von" Freeze, he's not Dr.Doom
I immediately went to the comments as soon as I heard him say that.
I dunno, that wasn't very cool 😅
Mainframe Studios basically pioneered and invented the 3d modeling that was used in both Beast Wars and ReBoot, as they literally had to bring multiple types of technology, and have them work together, just to create these shows
Make one for 00’s, this brought back a lot of nostalgia
Bobbys world was 🔥. It was the reason me and several others had a big wheel.
Favorite line i stil remember til this day at 35 yrs young is
"Uncle Ted, Uncle Ted how are you making bubbles underwater" 😂😂😂
So many classics from the 90s. Gargoyles, Street Sharks, Mummies Alive. Batman and Spider man 90s both goated.
You tackled a whole lot but not all of them, Swat Katz, Sonic the Hedgehog, Cowboys of Moo Mesa and Reboot just to name a few.
Mannn all these shows bringing back my childhood memories ❤
X-Men: The Animated Series, Beast Wars, Spider Man: The Animated Series, and Power Rangers (Live Action) were my go to shows from the 90's. This is an amazing video for 90's cartoon nostalgia.
Beast Wars Transformers is my favorite transformers.
Please do an early 2000s List. This was awesome 👌 👏 👍🏽.
You forgot about chip n dale rescue rangers 💯
