@@lolstalgic9602 The fantasy of having fights in populated areas without significant collateral damage is pretty ridiculous. It shouldn't be portrayed as heroic to even perform such acts unless there is no other way. It is such a basic principle that police and military answer to oversight for just one gunshot with innocent people around the area of plausible collateral damage. We're talking instead about strength far beyond something as pitiful as a gun. The strength to break buildings in half, for example, which often happens while fighting (with no deaths). I'm not a Dragonball fanboy or anything, but a part of what makes that show so appealing to people is the wholesome worry the heroes have for civilians, going out of their way to insist on fights being out in the middle of nowhere.

The only problem here is that she's not shown to be a martial artist or expert of any kind. Just one day she thought of killing major people in the city and everything went to her favor no matter if it's Batman or the expert Villains, she's shown to be above them all. Just kill and escape meanwhile no other villain is that lucky to do that multiple times. Either she has Flash's powers or Martian Manhunter's invisibility.
this is why I preferred the comic ending: it was the people you'd least suspect, but could feasibly do it. Alberto Falcone, because who is going to suspect a man of killing his own family, and Harvey Dent, because who would suspect the district attorney (... In Gotham? literally everybody)
On of the best animated Batman movie I've watched. The art style really strick to the original design of the series, and the story is great. It's one of Batman best Two Faces origin, it made sense and really see that he's not a literally lunatic or an insane man. He's still seek justice and even willingly given himself up to Gordon. The death and end of Falconi's family was very unfortunate, yet I like how it was laid down. One by one, they get taken down and they still don't know who really did it. Feels bad for Calendar man though, that scene was funny when he just goes "Oh sure, leave me here...not that I'm important. Break the crazy midget why don't you- oh you did..." Really wish I could find the comic to read.
@discorddiscord2647 mate, if you did watch the whole video from the first place, you wouldn't need to come here asking me. It's literally said in the intro.
Batman(and a lot of other people) is sure lucky to have Catwoman on his side!!! HOW many times did she save him??? I think I counted 4 times AFTER I started counting...
The long Halloween pt. 1 & 2 are probably the best animated Batman movies ever. In terms of story, comic accuracy (I know I know, its not 100% faithful but it is close) and character design, it is amazing. Voice acting is also perfect. I often forget I am watching animation because I get so immersed in the acting and world they have created. 10/10. I think Jensen Ackles has a real shot of becoming the new voice of Batman after Conroy's passing. Big shoes to fill, but I like his portrayal quite a bit. It's not that awful, goofy voice Bale did in the Nolan trilogy.
It would've been the best animated film if it didn't wanna pull a fast one and change the ending and make Batman act in a way completely out of character. If Batman knew Gilda was involved that chick would've gone to prison, not be allowed to destroy vital evidence right in front of him. That's my biggest problem with many of these comic to animation adaptions DC have been making. They constantly change certain plot points or characters. It ruined the ending to this movie, it completely demolished the entire plot of Hush and that extra original Batgirl story added to The Killing Joke took a spin that made both her and Batman act in way that's so waaaaaaay out of character the entire rest of the movie was tarnished by it.
One change in the of interest to me from the comic to the animation is the mobsters son. In the comic he was straight up creepy, you could practically hear the Evil Scientist voice from those Bugs Bunny toons. In the animation he suddenly becomes almost sympathetic, a regular college kid with big dreams who wants nothing to do with his Mobster father's plan for him. It's an interesting change, but I wonder what brought it about? What was the process that lead to this redesign?
What would happen when you mix Poison Ivy's phytopheromones and spores, Scarecrow's fear toxin, Joker's laughing gas / poison, and *another random substance of similar yet different origin / nature / etc.* ?
Having always been a fan of animated batman movies I have had this on my watch list for months and so this video definitely gives me more of an idea to what I would be getting into if I ever watched the movie. Thank you for the great video.
The Quality of Animated Movie also depends on voice acting crew and the animation apart from the Stroyline. So it is a major concern and needs a lot of care

@@SecondLookTM You are telling me that Joker could hijack a plane, tv station, heck WHOLE arkham asylum if game is cannon etc. but sneaking in a single building which might not be the tallest one is something he could not manage. PLOT HOLES.
Most of Batman's villains are insane. Heck, it's called Arkham Asylum, not the Gotham City Jail. @@hamzaahmad1345they probably see it as too easy. Joker is all about theatrics as much as actual destruction, baiting him at the bat signal sounds so low brow that he’d chuck that plan out almost immediately.

Although to be fair I cant see why some lowlife criminal couldnt just set up a sniper position on a neighbouring roof and do so at his own violition. But honestly them not getting assasinated on the roof is literally the least plot-holey thing in the DC universe. Not gonna talk about how theres like 50 villains all locked up in a little asylum, all of which repeatedly break out and could easily just destroy the entire police department and thereafter city?

@@SecondLookTMThat is not true, as was already pointed out to you in another comment thread. Plus during the fight scene in Faconi's office Batman is protecting him from being ganged up on by all the other villains but fails to protect him. Batman wants him to go to prison, not be murdered.
Appreciate the thoroughness and effort that went into this, but, they really need to check the verbiage used it really detracts from the overall enjoyment of the video.

You say that as if it's a good thing. Superheros are supposed to minimize casualties and collateral damage, even if it's not realistic.
@@fuzzwobble Realism died along time ago in the world of superheroes. If I recall correctly, the Daredevil show did mention that hundreds died in the Chitari attack during the Avengers movie, so it's not completely absent. Still, the less casualties the better, even in a fictional setting
Green Arrow and Flash show up.
Bruce, "Aren't you both a little too old to be Trick or Treating?"
Or not helping as a whole year of Holiday murders happen
Joker: I am the only one who will kill the bat
The other rouges: we beg your pardon
On of the best animated Batman movie I've watched.
The art style really strick to the original design of the series, and the story is great.
It's one of Batman best Two Faces origin, it made sense and really see that he's not a literally lunatic or an insane man. He's still seek justice and even willingly given himself up to Gordon.
The death and end of Falconi's family was very unfortunate, yet I like how it was laid down. One by one, they get taken down and they still don't know who really did it.
Feels bad for Calendar man though, that scene was funny when he just goes "Oh sure, leave me here...not that I'm important. Break the crazy midget why don't you- oh you did..."
Really wish I could find the comic to read.
Which movie is this ?
@discorddiscord2647 ....mate did you watch the video?
@@AngeryCrow I did but if you write justice league 100+ movies show up
@discorddiscord2647 mate, if you did watch the whole video from the first place, you wouldn't need to come here asking me. It's literally said in the intro.
@@discorddiscord2647Batman Long Halloween , it has a pt 2 as well.
Even better than under the red hood?
No Two Faces Tragedy is close but Jason's story is so much more tragic
I imagine mind control attacks the victim's mind, whereas the pheromones merely rewire or work with it in a way.
I mean, in Bale’s defense, the mask apparently contributed a lot to his voice.
Uncommon enemies make uncommon allies
One change in the of interest to me from the comic to the animation is the mobsters son. In the comic he was straight up creepy, you could practically hear the Evil Scientist voice from those Bugs Bunny toons. In the animation he suddenly becomes almost sympathetic, a regular college kid with big dreams who wants nothing to do with his Mobster father's plan for him.
It's an interesting change, but I wonder what brought it about? What was the process that lead to this redesign?
I'm guessing because no one these days likes the 'Evil for evil's sake' villain, they want nuance and character depth.
@@SH-qs7ee Could be.
But isn't that ,Joker's whole thing? And Evil Morty?
What would happen when you mix Poison Ivy's phytopheromones and spores, Scarecrow's fear toxin, Joker's laughing gas / poison, and *another random substance of similar yet different origin / nature / etc.* ?
It creates the most evil Super Villain ever. My Mother in Law!

Glad you enjoyed it!
what movie is this one?
Batman Long Halloween
Catwoman is the real hero in this movie! ☺️💯❤️
But Poison Ivy is the best part of this show.
This Animated series was very very good due to the stellar voice acting crew and the animation.
Who cares
The Quality of Animated Movie also depends on voice acting crew and the animation apart from the Stroyline. So it is a major concern and needs a lot of care
Also, who in their right mind would stick a baby nipple to a muzzle? And how many lugers Gilda has???
Its more of a calling card
I think a woman who lost her child despite wanting the child 's existence and gone rather cuckoo from it. Pacifier seems to be prefered choice
I like how the title has nothing to do with the video
Carmine was Batman's Enemy after all. All the Villains came after Carmine too.
Yeah. It none of them actually teamed up or aides batman in finding out who Holiday is more action happened at Arkham Asylum than any aiding batman did
RIGHT! Lol
You know, they didn't HAVE to show Albeato being slashed up by the ships propeller, I love that DC shows aren't afraid to show brutality
Did his wife put on a muscle suit because the Holiday killer looked pretty buff to be her 😂😂😂😂
i always thought the bat signal was some special private meeting. but if others are shown here, why not just jump batman and gordan and off them both if youre a villain?
It is on the Rooftop of Gotham Police Depratment
@@SecondLookTM You are telling me that Joker could hijack a plane, tv station, heck WHOLE arkham asylum if game is cannon etc. but sneaking in a single building which might not be the tallest one is something he could not manage. PLOT HOLES.
Most of Batman's villains are insane. Heck, it's called Arkham Asylum, not the Gotham City Jail. Those that have the power to fight Batman and the entire Gotham PD on their own turf either have better things to do or are having much too much fun playing games with "Batsy" to end it all in such a dull yet efficient fashion. The rest are trying to avoid Batman altogether.
@@hamzaahmad1345they probably see it as too easy. Joker is all about theatrics as much as actual destruction, baiting him at the bat signal sounds so low brow that he’d chuck that plan out almost immediately.
I mean from my understanding like 99% of villains actually respect batman.
Wow I wonder how the kid would’ve reacted if he knew that he showed up dressed as Batman and got candy from the real Batman. And the Batman’s house.
20 Million? That literally looks like 20 Billion. Which leads me to the thought of, how much it costs to make that much money. What a perplexing concept. Paying, for money.
One of the best Batman animated movies

I loved the tone and graphics of the movie, really gave off that Gotham feel from the show and from Christopher Nolans movies. What I didn't like was the title because I was literally expecting it all to be on Halloween you know?
I love this animated show of batman. it shows a real crime detective of batman's purpose and not jut him being a plot armor all the time, it also showed his vulnerability.
Wait, ain't no way that big pile of cash at 2:02 amounted to over 20 million. In $100 bills... And it's definitely NOT a penthouse; that's a warehouse if you didn't notice
I had seen part 1 of this movie...part II was unavailable...So thank you very much for making this video.
It was well done. (Y) A big thumbs up, sir.

Batman let the holiday killer go so I dunno y he was investigating in the first place smh
I was thinking the same thing like Batman on trash in this, getting poisoned, mind controlled, captured and shit lol. Then he is taking uneducated guesses about who Holiday is, Finds out, and lets her go, he is clowning right now like "bro, wtf are u doing?" lol
Every villains had own roles to help, others to make own fight. - Batman.
That may just take the prize in the 'WTF Vid Title' competition.
The hell is this. Batman losing every fight, being saved by someone?! The hell!?
The pistol in the video that Holiday is using might be a Stoeger Luger.
Selena the real MVP
DAMN, id hate to have to live there bruh. If it ain't mobster shit going down its crazy ass villains in the loose lol I feel bad for bats even tho he kinda bat shit crazy himself lol
This is actually a great story and doesn't make batman all powerful with plot armor
You forgot to mention that the only trick or treater was Dick Grayson. Also, I hope they do a Dark Victory WB animated movie.
So Catwoman saved Batman thrice here? What a joke!
Man hasn’t read many Batman comics
Yet another great Batman story.
Bruhh they made batman soft ash in this movie catwoman stay saving him
So they overshadowed Batman in his own show.

Much appreciated!
to be honest they did a okay adaption on the dc comic the long halloween
i remember the first time reading this. the final reveal was amazing
"All the Villains come to Batman's Aid against His Ultimate Enemy" when exactly did this happen? lol
Actually Batman's True enemy was Falcone, and All the Villains came to attack him
@@SecondLookTMThat is not true, as was already pointed out to you in another comment thread. Falconi was a main villain in the story but Batman wasn't after Falconi for the whole movie, he was after Holiday, since Batman doesn't believe in killing his enemies but Holiday is going around killing and Batman sees that as being just as evil. Plus during the fight scene in Faconi's office Batman is protecting him from being ganged up on by all the other villains but fails to protect him. Batman wants him to go to prison, not be murdered.
You have a point there
Dunno why when i saw the title my mind instantly went to "batman has cancer the villains go to visit him for their goodbyes"

strong independent catwoman saves helpless batman on multi-ple occasions
There is some kind of late XIXth century feel to Joker's suit and hairdo. It looks good on him.

Poison Ivy hypnotising Carmine Falcone would have led to dominion over all of Gotham.
That would be a great thing
Poison Ivy has to be one of the sexiest female villans ever
THE sexiest by far. DC has destroyed her character. She needs to get away from Harley and return to her early roots including her original outfit!!!
@@randydownes9116 to mke Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy was the only good thing about teh Batman And Robin movie
@@wolvie667 I can’t disagree with that. She did a great job as Poison Ivy.
is anyone else concerned about how the physical body of Holiday is clearly a buffed up and beefed up man? Not a petite woman in disguise? It's like either sloppy animation or a subtle suggestion that she's not the killer
Why Gilda got the abortion is beyond me. If she had truly wanted her baby she would have fought Falcone like a mad fiend to keep it and her marriage to Alberto. She had a choice, but she refused to use it. If anyone ever demanded that I got an abortion, I would fight them on it. Let this be a lesson to you ladies, if someone wants you to get rid of a baby that you love, fight for that baby like your life depends on it.
