    Just realized my SB tactical folding brace has a very similar configuration and I was able to swap it from left to right folding; Thanks Caleb!

    I installed the tube version on my Ruger PCC I couldn't get it to fold, until I lubed it with CLP and let it soak for 48 hours. Not a problem since. Thank you!

    Great info, thanks for sharing. You should do a video about changing over Bulgarian folding stocks. I had a bit of trouble going from the polymer folder on my SLR-104fr to the Circle 10 steel triangle folder. Mostly with the new one having to be filed to fit

    Great video and information as always! I've never much cared for folding stocks due to the inherent "slop" I've experienced with some when locked into straight position; too much "wiggle." I want a tight lockup with no play.
    I'm hoping Brownells sells that gun vise I see you using on the bench. I definitely want one for my home setup!👍

    hahahaahahah ! where does he get this stuff from?? Is he half wizard and 1/4 warrior monk? great video- a few months ago, I purchased the 17 design lowers when they were only 35$. And I couldn't find any information about their testes reviews. glad to see now they even have matching upper receivers on the market too.

    Obviously without a buffer, spring and tube, this lower assembly is for a BRN180. On a completed weapon, will it fire and eject a spent round with the stock folded to the right?

    • @Daizenzetsu
      @Daizenzetsu 3 года назад +1

      Will a round buffer fit through a square (also nonexistent) hole?

      Ya’ as long as you have a left handed upper. Or you could unfold it and shoot like a normal person with more than 3 brain cells to rub together.

    Does the new Midwest alpha stock have this feature?
    I have aright folding Sam7sf and it has a side rail that will block the alpha stock, I want to know if I can switch it to right side to make it perfect.

      The Midwest wiggles a bit when deployed. Jmac or a3t is the way to go if it bugs you. Apex 1913 folder is super light

    The MPX will not accept a AR15 mag block. What are using for in the Mag well for the block?

    • @CalebSavant
      @CalebSavant 3 года назад

      This is not a MPX, its a standard AR lower. It for use with the new FM upper, BRN-180 upper, or 22lr upper so you don't need a buffer assembly in the standard receiver extension.

    I'm confused; what replaces the buffer, spring, etc.?

    • @waynepond1869
      @waynepond1869 3 года назад

      Most likely has a captured bolt system that doesn't rely on the typical bolt, buffer, and spring. Evolution weapon systems has something like this

    • @five5105
      @five5105 3 года назад +6

      This is intended for upper such as the BRN-180 that do not require a buffee tube, or firearms such as an AK.
