It's such a good stock, as someone with back issues I struggle to shoot long guns like how most people shoot nowadays where they're hunched over with the gun more pointed in a 90 degree angle from their chest, I shoot the old fashioned way as it's more comfortable. This stock allows me to get the perfect shoulder cup and cheek placement.
If there was anything I'd put on my Galil Ace Gen 1, other than the factory stock, it would be this. It has a far better folding mechanism than most every other folding stock.
I own this and zenetico its a fair option, i just wish the riser screws didnt have to be removed to adjust height like the zenetico. Simple fix with a manual mill but wish it came from the factory like that. All in all its a good substitute. On the plus side ilthe length adjusts better on this one than my Russian stock.
Just got this today. Very well-made piece of kit. Feels very solid, has a nice weight to it without feeling heavy. The only criticism I could say is that the flip action can be awkward and difficult to pull up in order to flip it, especially when it's new.
Very comfortable stock. BUT! Its locking mechanism, which is tension-based and doesn't lock, will fold on itself with just a little bit of sideways pressure. It doesn't take much - mine will fold on itself while shooting, bracing under your arm, or mortaring.
I really wish they would make a buffer tube version (ie. Has the threads to be threaded into a buffer tube adapter.) Lots of older AKs and other such firearms don't have 1913 attachment on the back.
I have that stock and i still cant figure out how to actually fold it. Havent installed it yet i dont see any visible button or anything to unlock it. Only the button to adjust the length.
The folding mechanism is really REALLY bad. It has no way to lock it closed so sometimes it'll just fold. And it makes carrying it slung on the given QD point impossible. Other than that it's a good stock.
Wow that is one sweet little package with the short brn180. You guys should drop a 13.7 inch brn180 for us non-NFAers to rock something like this

I felt this on a personal level with the bad back.
I need this thing

Caleb is the reason Wolf Gray Alumahyde II is often out of stock. :)

Zenitco at home.
Seems like a good alternative to them though.
I would say they’re better, lighter, more durable, better quality, consistently cheaper
@@docternoblex $255 cheaper, in fact.
@@chipsandcase-o5738 and it won’t snap at the joint either
@@docternoblex Can't say that, it doesn't have nearly the track record of a Zenit stock.
This guy can school you on weapons and on the dance floor. Great videos!!
I’ve been interested in that AK dust cover and handguard they just came out with. Looks heavy though
Can you do a review of the Strike Industries Modular Fixed Stock for carbine length buffer tubes?

was thinking about getting this for my ZPAP ak is this hands down best stock to have?
It's great, I just wish they had a direct interface for folding stock AKs instead of the 1913 rail

"There, that's my little legal spiel" lol, Brownells is based AF!
Will you paint this stock to match your rifle? It’ll look awesome in grey
How does this compare to the stock SPEAR LT stock?
Sig hinge are better, def the new sig LT stock with the button folding

My brother in christ just get a pic rail trunnion
@@YourHumanContact I have a Vz.58. that isn't really available for that tifle.

It has a minimalist LEGO look.
hey brownells! build a BRN 180 in .308! make it as affordable as the 556 version and you guys got a money machine! plus, i want one haha
Did you get any accuracy issues with different muzzle devices such as 3/4 prongs , open or closed tine????
Looks like a Zenitco PT-1.
I do not have a button to fold stock I have the tang compatible adapter to the folding stock where or how do I fold it?
Was it a fard or a shid? Damn mah boi
Where can i even get one. Its out of stock everywhere
Is their a brace attachment available?
But is it really better than the Zenitco?
Far cheaper. But its ugly as shit lol
Tha rifle is gnarly

Or on a 10/22 cool
Looks like a third QD socket on the right side just in front of the butt.
Im not a fan of the minimalist stocks...or any kind of folder on an AR
