Tip: stuff a small cloth into the receiver during the dremeling/filing to prevent the metal dust and shavings from dropping into the receiver, fire control group and especially the chamber and barrel.

If you have any grease on those fire control parts for lube you will make grinding compound out of it! It will not simply blow out. You will have to detail strip and use brake clean or similar gun scrubber to get the grindings and contaminated lube out. Then relube it all again. A rag stuffed in there will be a major time saver!

I would also recommend if doing this installation to put some cold blue on the section of exposed metal and don't forget to use some oil and wipe off any excess oil before installing the rear 1913 Block. The cold blue will stop rust from occurring and the oil will neutralize the corrosive effect of cold blue. Same for the aluminum parts but instead you will use aluminum black followed by the oil and once again wipe off any excess.

When filing where debris can fall into the chamber area, I stuff a rag into the receiver to block it off. My tip is use plenty of tape around where one will be dremeling. It will help with giving at least a tiny bit of protection to metal you don't want to remove, and it provides some good guidelines with good contrast. If you are very concerned about cutting into a base metal I will actually put a piece of sacrificial sheet metal stock between .010 and .030 thick on the part, then wrap that in the tape. That way if I do nick the tape, there will be some response. Especially if it's brass or something.

Cool I actually have that dremel . My only complaint was it to bulky for precision surgical use . I didn't know that accessory was a option or avaliable. Now after the video I'm pricing one . Cool AK upgrade. I'd love to Try this modification. Looks awesome.

I love the steady stream of motivational music in the background as you turned a unique and expensive rifle into a worthless one by trying to make an AK into an AR.

35:50 "Die Feile und den Schwanz, benutzt man immer ganz!" German Blacksmith-Words. 42:45 the lower cover, does not sit flush on the body. You have to make it right, tight. Rework it, otherwise you do not work exact. The Gap is much to wide.

You got easy directions and show how to file which some were never Taught correctly. There's a lot of secrets doing metal work, I learned that going to aviation school.
