A lot of these issues can be prevented by cleaning all grounds and replacing major ground wires, liek the battery one and Alternator one. Mine was going beserk, guages jumping, then not working, Then transmission would kick like a horse when it came time to change and even would not go past 20mph at one point. Then when I shut it off it would not start "just crank" till after about 10 minutes then it would come on I looked at the wire from Alternator and it was full of oil and corrosion , I had a bad head gasket leak and reolaced both heads and gaskets with Nissan parts, but my mechanic did not clean the oils from the ground to the Alternator. So far so good after I cleaned alternator chassis ground to body ground. I hope that was the issue and the problem is solved. If not I will update. as I want to still clean all engine wiring grounds and even replace battery ground if I need too? Its an Infiniti FX45 2003 with 77k on it because i hardly use it since second owner 17 year ago.
Bad radiator. Guarantee it was letting coolant into the transmission through the cooler built into the end tank of the radiator. That’s what caused the valve body to short out. Hopefully this customer got it sorted before needing a new trans
Hey I recently replaced my radiator in my 07 nissan got it running then said cylinder 2 misfire I changed coil pack now it won't start won't link to ecu any ideas? thanks

I have the u1000 code on my infiniti when I turn the key to the on position the fix turn on my car had a misfire but got fix and when but I clean my grounds and the fan stop so now the car crank but won't start I check the fuel rail no fuel in the injectors I even Took the fuel rail off and no gas going in engine

This sounds like my issue....I have an 2008 Nissan pathfinder 4.0 and it has the VDC OFF and SLIP light on the dash. Aldo no prime of fuel when key is turned, no crank. I've replaced the crank shaft and both cam sensors and even the fuel pump in the tank. Luckily I didn't have to drop the tank. Someone before me had replaced the fuel pump from inside the truck on the driver's side rear seat. But yeah it won't start and I've replaced the ipdm box as well and fuses there. All fuses and relays are good. So I'm lead to believe it is in fact the valve body but I could be wrong.
I have an ‘05 PF right now and if you meant it would crank, but no start…that’s exactly what mine is doing and also replaced those sensors and fuel pump. Still trying isolate problem. Was AAMCO able to tell you how they determined it was a faulty computer by chance?

@@zachgreen520 on the passenger side of the engine bay is the ipdm (fuse block basically) check the tcm and ecm fuse

But all other modules are communicating except the ecu
My issue was the ECM...$1300 LATER ....truck drives like a new truck.
I have a 05 Nissan Pathfinder off road and replaced battery and alternator and if I use any accessories the battery dies in a couple of minutes. Why?
You possibly have something (other than the accessories you are using) completely draining the battery fast. Parasitic drain.
Check all ground connections to make sure they are corrosion free

Check to IPDM (Front Fuse Box) for any opne fuses
