I saw another video using the laminator and she placed a couple of half sheets of copy paper behind the card and it came out good with just one pass. I tried it and it worked well. Just another possibility.
i am a bit confused. how did the foil stick to only where the ink is on the paper? am i suppose to apply something or the foil just sticks to the black ink automatically? sorry absolutely new to this. thank u.
you have to use an laser ink printer ink jet is as the name says ink but the laser has toner the at higher temps fuses to the paper and in this case the foil paper.
Thanks for this demo. I just bough a bunch of Minc stuff from Joann's on clearance (no returns) hoping I could just use my Scotch Laminator. Whew....I saw one before yours and she couldn't do it...but she didn't use your technique.

+It's just a dream The foil only sticks to the toner from a laser printer. So if you print in black on any color of paper from a laser printer, only the black will be foiled yes.
