I have to give ya 2 thumbs up for the UNC Logos alone....GO HEELS!! Now after watching the video I can give the real(RUclips) thumbs up for the great job/video....it's always nice to learn something new from each of your videos, thanks and keep up the great stuff 😁👍
Hey Joe. Love how you demo’d making and fitting the dovetail drawer for the cribbage board. Don’t know if I will ever come to use this method but I hope my old head does not forget the process and I am able to use this method should the opportunity arise. Seems pretty straightforward the way you showed it If I heard you right you are a member of the Military-specifically the US ARMY if so then “ thank you for the service”. US Army here myself-1969-71. Quite a bit older than yourself I must say Harleymike/chicago
Ok so now if you would apply the sliding dovetail to sliding dovetail legs! My brother wants me to build his wife a blanket ladder (and yes I watched your blanket ladder build) but I also have to ship it to their house on the other side of the country... I’ve been thinking of a classier way to “break down” the ladder height temporarily and thought how awesome would it be if they opened her gift to find their ladder legs extend via a sliding dovetail on both legs. It also means they could determine their full height themselves. I could have predrilled screw holes for the height part, plus for the ladder rungs... I think it’s brilliant but I’m paranoid about cutting it on the table saw. It’s a bit more complex than ripping 45 degree angles for french cleats, only this means the legs will be ripped many times over. See the thing is their walls are quite high therefore I can build one that’s tall but again it has to be compacted down for transport. I mean I could use half laps, etc. that my brother could then glue up and screw down once at his place but it just seems lame or too easy. I like the idea of sliding dovetails for the fact that so far no one else has done it and it’s a neat idea! I’d love to see if you’d make one too
Great job. Question about the laser. I’m looking to get one after Christmas. You commented about the 4 watt laser. Should I go with the 7 watt or what’s your opinion on it so far?
My wife wants you to shave the “stache”. Can’t quite figure her out though as I have one myself. Might be a subtle hint misdirected at you though, and she really wants me to shave mine. Us guys must stick together.
Love the dovetail drawer idea. Thanks for showing the work and inspiring my ideas.
Thanks for watching!

I don't know how you resisted the temptation to use the yard markers as the scoring numbers.
I messed with that idea, but the board would have been massive to get the spacing right with yard markers
Very nice great idea
Thanks for watching!
Nice job...I was wondering if you had any problem with the pegs going in to the dovetail piece?
Thanks for watching! No problem with the pegs!
Great job. Question about the laser. I’m looking to get one after Christmas. You commented about the 4 watt laser. Should I go with the 7 watt or what’s your opinion on it so far?
I think you should get the highest watt laser that you can afford. The 7w doesn't run that much faster than the 4, but it will be slightly faster
Are you willing to share where you got the cribbage hole pattern?
My handmade cribbage board is based on Asterix the Gaul
Do you have any svg files on your shield?
I have a few files on my website if that's what you were asking
